I had a German Spitz and she was bad, bad, bad... but oh so cute. Her daddy could not get angry at her. I didn't know that they were bred to be watch (not guard) dogs which explained the yappinest. She'd bark at EVERYTHING that moved. She broke training one day and got hit by a car. I'm much older now but crave having another before I die which might be sooner than later. Wonderful, wonderful, but baddddddddddddd dogs.🥰 I allowed her to get away everything because she was too cute.
That’s too bad they have so many wonderful qualities. My spitz can alert me when the washing is done, reminds me to have my meals like a clock, basically my personal manager. They are excellent guard dogs. They connect emotionally well with their human.

My German Spitz isn't much vocal unnecessarily...and he requires moderate exercise

My girl has a miniature one and its a shit breed, doesnt listen barks at everything, so amount of training helps

If you want obedient dog buy a shepherd one. I've got 2 trained spitz dogs a big one and a small one.
