Wahhh! I cannot believe you didn't get that gorgeous black Labrador artwork. Come on Julie! You could sell that locally if you don't want to put it on your website. It was gorgeous! My stomach hurts thinking about that artwork going into a dumpster. 😭

Yes you can paint candles. I painted one. And absolutely love how it turned out. I just globbed the paint on a little so it would look bumpy like. I loved the results. Of course I don't burn them. I never burn any candles. Ruins your walls.
Me too he was beautiful, or she could up the shipping on some items. If someone wanted it they wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for shipping.
I agree!! Either it's too big or too hard to package and mail. People love their dogs. That picture would have been love by so many.
I checked online and that dog print sells anywhere from 90-175.00. It was beautiful.

I just saw paint for candles.....perhaps on etsy. A lot of ceramic items (especially the low fire pour and fire from ceramic studioes) can be repaired by lightly sanding the area with an emery board, wipe clean and then paint with Delta's Ceramacoat. It's usually available at craft stores. If an item has a really rough chip, use a heavy duty emery board then use a fine one. Bad chips can sometimes be filled with a Bondo type product. Might want to do this on something you want to keep for yourself!
I’m thinking you needed to get the original black lab art piece! My fav are the oval Inca plates. I’m 100% into restaurant ware ❤️❤️❤️
It looked like there was a larger platter with handles the same color as the plates you got next to where you picked up the candle. It had some wooden utensils sitting on it. 😊
I love that your goodwill outlet has the shelves. Mine doesn’t. You find so many amazing things. I know I’ve said this before but I’m always so jealous when I watch these videos ❤😊

I've been waiting to see the puppy planter pop up. I was at the Bins with you that day. I always love seeing the things you choose.
I love finding those little fold up chairs with the fabric on them. I always take the fabric off and put a slotted palette kind of styled top on them. I put, however many slats across it takes to cover the top and then I attach a 1x2 on each side underneath. You can then set it on the top and it will hold the chair in place but you can remove it to fold it down if you want. If you’re going to leave it up, you can screw the slats right on the top. That is just my two cents worth, but I would love to see what you do with it.

I'm A sucker for anything wood, especially if its old! Even if its just a piece of wood that has some shape, i can figure out something to do with it. And if its broken or a piece off of something I'll still figure some way to fix ok style it as long as its not way too bad 🤷♀️ ..there's really alot you can do with wood pieces! I would definitely try painting the candle, i know you can't been it but that ones just for decor anyways..a creamy white would be so pretty for Christmas decor! Oh my.. that bin full of books would be costly for me🫣 lol I we would try hard to limit myself! Great find on the doilies! I'd most likely tea stain them. Another great haul! The books & wood pieces were my fav.. but i would love to see that candle painted! Where I've been living in Tennessee the nearest bins is a hour away, so I've never been. Where we're possibly moving to in Florida there's one 20min and one 30min, and several more within an hour or less.. so i think I'll be making a little trip soon!! 😊

I would not think you would paint a candle unless you knew for sure it wouldn’t be lit. I agree you should have gotten the lab print.

History:
From 1909 until 1935, the entire production of Shenango Pottery was devoted to commercial china (hotels, restaurants, and institutions). In 1928 they built the first tunnel kiln and began to fire hotel china for the first time in this country. I love those plates, the history is interesting.
Great finds! I am also jealous of your Goodwill Outlet! I agree - that dog print was beautiful! You should fix that clock! It’s so cool and unique! It’s not hard to put on a new clock movement.

It's heartbreaking the amount of good books that end up in the bins. Schools could really use them.
And good books with the covers torn off, the binders ripped off because it is a fad. There are plenty of used books that the bindings are worn out without purposefully tearing them up.

I love the books, I can never leave behind books. I do wonder tho why many of you that I watch buy things with chips. Do people buy things with chips? I’m a no chip person and won’t buy it with chips. I’m interested and curious to know.❤
