Thank you Meat Trapper. I just set my first beaver sets ever thanks to your inspiration, one 330 on a dam break, two snares on dam breaks, a baited share on a slide and a baited share in a run. Looking to fill up the freezer this winter with some quality meat. I probably won't get anything as it's supposed to freeze tonight and all my traps are halfway submerged. But I found out I love wading through the swamps reading the plentiful beaver sign. This hobby will surely enrich my life for many years to come and provide my family with some great food. Thank you!

@@Meattrapper Well I just got my first beaver ever! 17.9 lb male (less than a year old?) With the unpredictable weather I decided to do only fully submerged sets. Just watched your excellent "From Beavers to Burgers" series. The tip about pulling the skin tight against your knuckles was great, I managed to not make any holes in the hide. How do my dispatch live beavers. I use snares but most of mine are dead ,the ones thats not get a 22.
