Gorgeous. I was born in Florida but this trail is still too scary for me, not that I could hike it. I'm getting too long in the tooth. You're doing well. Seem to be in you're element there, on trail 👣 pardner. Keep at 'er.
I was stuck in that cold morning too out in my swamp last night but you are heading for a great hike through that part of the Ocala National Forest...I need to get back out there been a long time since I have did a 2 day overnight in that area
Great job brotha, beautiful big trees towards the end of the day. Can you do me a favor and state your mile marker so far from the start each day! Maybe state it in your morning intro? I have no idea how far you’re into the trail or how far you have to be finished. Thx big fan here!!! :)
@@probationtermination lol I know you’re not a miles, elev or details guy! I had to look at all that on the Long Trail for us but I’d love to know your progress each day if you remember to look.
I was so excited when I got to Alexander springs to fill my water bottle from the spring to be told by the ranger I could only use sink water from the bathroom out front. Hope you don't get the same treatment.
I forgot you said you were a musician. Is that your original music we are rocking out to right now at the 5-minute mark? That Marion county sugar Sand is sure bringing back some memories for me.
No, those are all uncopywrighted songs from my editing program. You tube has a problem with you putting some music on your videos that it hasn't cleared.
@@probationtermination I thought you would be able to put your own original music on your own videos since you legally owned the copyright. But there's a million things I don't understand about UA-cam. Thank you again for your videos
As you passed through the Ocala/silver springs region, did you get a chance to fill your water bottle directly from a ice Cold spring? (Obviously I'm enjoying your videos very much and I really appreciate the effort you put both into the video production and to the hike at the trail)
Beautiful section of the trail..Happy Hiking
Your making great time. I just got back & did 60 miles of the Suwannee section. Saturday eve it hit 20 degrees. Love the Ocala section. 👍👍
I’m following you one step at a time😊
Thanks Jan.
Alexander Springs, Juniper Wilderness, and Hopkings Prairie great trailage ahead for you!
The section through the Ocala national forest was the first section I hiked in 1989. I have gone back there many times. Beautiful...Hike on!

thanks for the info on the trail through the sign. didn't realize it connected all the way to Canada.

Beautiful section of trail. Looked soft on the feet.
It was an old Boy Scout camp with zip lines. Pizza is great in Paisley too
Missed the pizza, I was there way to early in the morning.
There are actually many zip lines in the Ocala area. There are some deep ravines you can zip across.

I'll try, that would require me to look at Guthook more than once a day! Lol

You got it bro.

I was lucky and got a tent site, so I had full run of the park, warm shower included! I guess you could call it "diamond blazing" lol
Alexander Springs!!! Grew up in Ocala so know it well.

No, I could have, but they had spigots there with potable water. If I pulled it out of the spring I would have had to filter it.
have you ever camped out there when the bombing range was dropping bombs?...that is pretty crazy
Not yet!
This Midwestern girl would be terrified of gators.
They are not aggressive.
How are the bugs and ticks out there?
Haven't seen a tick yet. I think it's a bit cold for them, and not too bad with the other bugs as long as you get in your tent early, and quickly.
