I agree dude. I understood what you said because it wasn't that hard and because i learn a bit of dutch wich help mz understand you language because of similarities. I just didn't get the last phrase but i guess i know what you mean. But the most important is that above all words we understand each other and share emotion because of the greatest language that music is. Peace.

Just for the record, this is very distinctly and obviously not minimalism. Mistaking it for that is a sign of not paying attention. It is actually extremely difficult to compose something like Spiegel im Spiegel, and if you don't believe me, listen to what doesn't happen at the very end.

Just for the record, this is very distinctly and obviously not minimalism. Mistaking it for that is a sign of not paying attention. It is actually extremely difficult to compose something like Spiegel im Spiegel, and if you don't believe me, listen to what doesn't happen at the very end.
wrong.... It is minimalism. Just like Phillip Glass is minimalism. Just because it's difficult to compose doesn't mean that it isn't.

"Minimalist traits" ... So, in the same breath, one could say that Shostakovich was a "serialist" because he utilized Schoenberg's approach as a technique, but not a core principle of composition.
