1st time viewer here, but I feel I must say something. You two are about the nicest young people I have ever seen. Polite and hard working and well spoken. I don't know where you are from but if I was there I would shake your parents hands and thank them for raising you up so well. Final note, any woman who can weld like that is a keeper in my book. Give her anything she wants son.

You definitely have some good ideas Corey, I’m a retired welder of 40 years experience in a fabrication shop/ machine shop! Plus years running a rig truck out of field jobs too! I’m glad to see you teaching Hannah and WOW she’s doing great brother! Just says you’re a good teacher and she wants to learn! Go Hannah, good job Corey! I’m enjoying your channel and the Viking is what caught my eye Hannah and Corey, I love the truck even though I’m not much on lowered trucks! I’m the opposite my friend, I rather have a truck raised but what am I saying? I’m retired and 62, I loved to do this when I was younger! Now I enjoy watching you guys create your dreams! 👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

The suspension only moves a couple of inches, Why not mount your rear end mounts facing to the rear of the axle and run the control arms beyond the axle. The geometry still works exactly the same. I love this build.

When I was in my early 20s, I was married and had 2 kids so I stopped into Kentucky chicken and got a bucket of chicken and mashed potatoes, I was brought up on a chicken farm, thousands of chicken, I take ot apiece of chicken and take a bite, not sure what is was but it sure wasn't chicken, I have never stepped into a Kentucky chicken since, I'm 76 now.

Just ran across your channel and find it pretty impressive. Just a few minutes in and thinking you can save yourselves a lotta work with your rear suspension. Instead of cutting up your link bars to gain floor space in the driver’s compartment just modify your design to the rear 4 link brackets. If you angle the top two bars toward the center of the car you’ll end up with a triangulated 4 link. Triangulated 4 links have been around for years. First ones I can think of are used in 64 Chevelles. The basic theory and design eliminates the diagonal link bar used on a four link and distributes torsional force between all the links more evenly. Anyway keeping the original link bars but using the top links at a 30 to 45 degree angle. That type of link setup like mentioned earlier only uses 4 bars total transfer torque and center the rear end, I know from experience that these systems run down the road a lot more quiet than a drag race 4 link with helm joints to rattle and wobble around with slack and wear getting worse constantly.
Anyway, you all are doing a great job, keep it up. Definitely subscribing after this.

Hey there u2 . As always looking more and more like a fun ride when youre done. Quick question/idea for you. Have you ever considered using old hockey pucks for body busings when mounting body to frame? Theyre fairly cheap, like $1-2 each and you would find them at used sporting goods store like play it again sports. Theyre poly urethane with a plastic disc top and bottom and easily drilled in a sm drill press. I used them on a 4x4 van conversion on my 79 GMC van. Did it like 10 yrs ago and every time i see the new owner of it he says they still holding strong and look like they did when I installed them. Well look forward to the next video see you then.

Hey Hannah and Corey, Steve here in TN. You two are a hoot! The wife and I just love your videos. I just wanted to suggest a few things, for what it's worth. I am 75 years old and have been working on vehicles since the 5th grade. I am also a retired Ironworker. So.. I have had a lot of experience in the stuff ya'll are doing in the videos. PLEASE take the proper steps to keep yourselves safe! Grinders are dangerous in several ways. I have had to go have metal particles removed from my eye several times. And they use a small "grinder" to get it out! Not fun. Also a friend of mine was using a grinder with a cutoff discount inside a truck cab. It kicked back and got away from him (he must have had the trigger locked) and it took 140 stitches to sew him up! Anyway, ya'll are great, just want you to be safe. Keep up the great videos.
