Great to “go back” 5yrs. It shows how much the quality of your filming has improved, with new tech, skills etc. But this old content is great. Such a simple life back then. And great for you to have it all captured for Lenny & Finn? one day. ....
I like how your girl goes hunting. Her hunting skills make her attractive. She knows how to help herself. It's always good to have such a girl who knows how to get along. It saves you from starving.
Keep up living your life the way you want. In my late 30's, only after a serious health problem triggered by exhaustion (btw I my own company) I've realised that I've possibly waisted my best years of my life paying for stuff I never wanted and longed for shit I didn't really need so that episode changed my whole perspective. For me getting sick turned out to be a good thing. I've learned how to sail, I do scuba, I restore bikes, I read, I learn to play musical instruments... whatever makes me feel alive. Maybe we'll meet someday in a remote part of the world. You're an inspiration for many of us so thumbs up, guys!
Oh the memories, popped back and watched a old video, before kids lol. La Vagabonde ONE. How far you have both come. Cant wait for the adventures of La Vagabonde 3. And loved the old sound track, I Wonder Song by Rodriguez. Amazing family keep it up. ❤️
Careful with the Lion Fish, deadly poisonous. You guys are quickly becoming a favorite sailing vessel I love to keep track of. Now I have two outstanding sailing channels to watch, SV Delos Crew and La Vagabonde! Cheers from Georgia U.S.

Guys, I really love your videos from the time, when it all started. Videos of you two helped me go through a really difficult period of my life. Seeing you two having fun, helped me go further. Thank you.
While you guys are taking a much-deserved break, I've come back to watch some of your old videos. Wow how far you have come, the editing, the filming, and the content are night and day. It's fun to see you both so very young, not just in age :) What I wasn't expecting was to feel sad. This was like watching a memory and it made me feel sad to have not been able to see your latest video this week. It was entertaining to go back and see you as baby UA-camrs, it really showed me that you are a big part of my regular life. You guys are an inspiration, I love you and wish you the best moving forward in this f*#ked up world we are all living through right now. Bless you and may you travel many more seas in this life :)

Amazing looking back at these early videos of you guys now you have Lenny onboard. He's going to have an amazing view of his parents life onboard Vagabond before he came along.
So this is the life I would have had with a few hundred different decisions...... glad someones living this way, would be a shame to have all this mother nature and everyone sitting in offices.

So you have a job.. live simple save for a few years but a boat and off you go! They have nothing other than the boat and each other. No house mortgage car TVs stuff you don’t need to be happy! I just bought a 34’ after a few years of saving and sold everything to live in it and live the simple life .. it can be done if your willing to give up the chains of modern life and what you are told you must have to be successful! Not being mean or horrible.. but being positive if you dream of this make a plan and do it. You only have one life! 😀👍🏻

Geez what in the world am i doing in my miserable 9-5??!! I just Discovered your videos and i am amazed at what a Happy beutiful life the both of you are living!! Im 40 now with a beautiful intelligent 6 yr old daughter so chances of me doing this are slim to none but to be barely 30 and living this life would be nothing short of paradise!! I wish you both the best of luck, fair winds and following seas!!
I love the two of you. I vote UA-cam sponsors your travels with a new sail boat fully equipped. Planning to donate some funds for the now 3 of you!! Congrats. Nick

I lived in St. Thomas many years ago and I thank you for reminding me again how beautiful these islands are and the people! I’m a fan of you’re videos. You both seem like great people!

Very new to your channel - came over from Eamon and Bec - and absolutely loving your stuff! Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE that you started this video with one of my all-time favourite Rodriguez tunes! Looking forward to seeing more of your content as you guys live the lifestyle I've always dreamed of!
Wow! I can't believe it was six years ago I clicked on this video, probably because of the tiny bikini, and found a whole series of great content. La Vagabond come for the tiny bikinis (and possibly majestic mustaches) but stay because you love them and, turns out, love their kid and future kid and friends and future plans! I really can't express all the ways this channel on UA-cam has changed my life. Love love love you two, your children, and your community.
I have no idea how I found your channel but I decided to give it a try and I am blown away by the stunning underwater video and the technique behind it. This is my third video and I am loving the little stories about where you go. I’m here to stay.
I am really happy that you are both living your dream. As a fellow cruiser, I would ask you to think twice about stealing water, showers, internet, etc., then bragging about it. Think about it. When you do stuff like that, you make those of us who come later, pay the price.
I love your videos and think you two make a wonderful couple. However, although "free" water is a nice thought, your "water should be free" comment is off base. It is "free" if you go out in nature and collect it yourself, but when someone else labors to collect it, treat it, build water systems to get it to you, and pays for the building and plumbing needed to put it to the tap, it cannot be and should not be "free"! Just pay for a water maker, and their very expensive membranes, and then see how much "free" water you giveaway to fellow cruisers...lol. Not to beat a dead horse, but like Kyle said, this stuff does makes it harder for all of us. Cheers mates, and happy and safe cruising!
+Sailing La Vagabonde water as a basic right is a great idea but it must be payed for. Someone worked their butts off to build the pipes, sinks, filters, holding tanks, reservoirs and chemicals that bring that water safely to you.
+Sailing La Vagabonde I like your honesty. Also those luxury resorts make so much money destroying paradise islands that they are hardly harmed by a few sailors doing what you do. They are the villains if any.
+Kyle Benger Good point. Also, it was a big turn off when after these two "borrowed" internet. showers etc, the guy goes out of his way to INSULT the resort that just GAVE him necessities. That was a pretty pathetic comment he made about the resort's sound system. A gracious "pirate" would have at least thanked the resort, if not actually pay them a few bucks for the convenience.
Just have to add my new fiancé and I have bought a boat in landlocked Colorado but this song was one of our favorites thank you guys ! Definitely an inspiration.
