Good to see George getting back in shape! Back in '49 my dad took a plunge into the Med in one, rescued by fishing boat. The Morris, a rightoff, the steering wheel becoming my favourite plaything for a while...Cheers
He starts great.👍I’ve got electronic ignition on one of mine, however I have sorted out an old distributor with points in just to keep it in the boot. Love watching the videos mate.
Well done George starts well with the points.Electronic ignition more trouble than they are worth.Woudn't touch them with a barge pole.My coil is on top of the alternator.Should I move it but havn't had any trouble with it.Maybe i should leave well alone.
Nothing wrong with electronic ignition if you get a decent one and fit it properly. My moggy has been running perfectly with it for 18 months now, way better than it ever did with points.
@@Scuba72Chris George had electronic ignition for 12 years until it went bad. I just feel if he has a problem with points I can sort it out easily at side of the road. Good luck with your car 🤓👍
