One of the things that's really striking watching a video is how much better a form factor glasses are than a device that you hold in hand (or stick on your shirt). It's truly hands free.
One of the things that I haven't seen is how these devices do voice recognition, or if they do that. If any activity that is going to charge my credit card can be activated by voice, I want to be sure that it's only my voice that's activating it.

Had a lot of fun using the Meta Ray-Bans at the zoo
1. I wear glasses and personally do not want to wear another pair even if it can be prescription I just like my own plain glasses no tech or camera constantly on it.
2. As a rabbit user I have been asking it questions and insights for days with 4/5 times being 3-10 seconds delay then answers with pictures. It has been connected and working just fine.
I love my Meta Ray-Bans, unfortunately they lack in customer service in after-sales support. Outside of that, I would highly recommend!

Oh, and it's really nice to know that the Rabbit R1 and the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are being compared to each other!

With the Rabbit R1, I'm still a little sceptical at the moment about how it will be developed and whether it will become established in the long term, as the things you've done with it can also be done with a smartphone with corresponding AI capabilities. But it's exciting to see how technical products develop and what will prevail on the market in the long term.

Better option would be to get like the LG tone Flex neck band as a dedicated assistant button and works pretty well.
That's a interesting comparison to Meta's sunglasses. I haven't thought of that. In way Meta was early to the wearable AI technology. I oddly find a lot more value in the glasses thinking of them like that. As an AI assistant.
I guess the kindest thing to say about the products is that it is still early days and they are using customer money and time to work out the kinks...🤔
No excuses, crappy products are crappy from start to later. At least Apple Vision Pro is decent and works at release but completely lacking in apps and supports

Rabbit R1 has sunk so low, it underperforms Meta's Shit Bans
Hmmm wondering what smart glasses form factor is best now 🤔 The battery is not too great but no other glasses (not augmented reality glasses) beat it at the moment.
Meta hits all the points needed.
Storing music on the glasses would be nice, but that is a want. LTE is a what as well.
People like to hate on products that they have no knowledge of these days 😂 Learn to do some research since you're likely using internet

Apples and oranges. The negative reviews are based on hype that the reviewers had in their own mind. The R1 is still developing and worth more than 200$ just for the sleek device and cost of admission to watch it develop. These types of videos are largely being shared by UA-cam morons who are sponsored by big tech competitors. Do some research on the brand and founder BEYOND UA-cam and you'll soon find that 200$ is pennies compared to what WILL be coming. Don't @ me. It won't end well.

If I’m in the market for something like the Rabbit R1, I don’t think I’m even considering a glasses form factor. Hear me out, it’s midnight, dark, am I going to walk around with sunglasses while I try I to get an Uber? I’m at a party, quickly need a recipe for a drink with ingredients I have handy, I don’t put on sun glasses. It literally limits when you can use them. The R1, with all of its flaws and it has MANY is a tool for quick burst of info without having to reach for your phone and be on your way to make that drink. The glasses are a party trick. Mashable had an extensive review of these two products side by side and they have the R1 as the winner. Again, it’s a stretch to compare the two but it was such a well written article you can start to see why they put them head to head. Next, we can compare an oven to an air fryer.

Fair enough and great call out but that wasn’t mentioned in the video. Plus at almost $400 for the glasses with transition lenses, it’s almost twice the cost as the R1. I think they are completely different products. I would have loved to see R1 vs Humane AI but I feel that is no longer relevant.
Sorry, when you're comparing the price how is rabbit and humane relevant? Also, the Meta glasses with transition lens do more than just be an AI device. Regular raybans are $200 @@saulramos79
