The Coward military will not surround poor community where the killings took place. The will not burn a single house, they will not desecrate traditional institutions there, they will not tail the traditinal ruler in that village to abuja, they will not open fire on poor villagers there, all because its in the north. But once it is in the south east or south south, they will quickly run out of morales that can only he filled with the blood of non combatant and poor villagers.
Until all Nigerians are equally treated with respect and dignity, may peace and wellbeing continue to ellude Nigeria

I agree with you until Nigeria treat all her citizens with fairness equity and justice we will still have no country in the heart's of some Nigeria to love their country and would do anything to defend her .The very reason Edo Delta are very unique people who the real Benin kingdom people , all the Obas treated all in is kingdom equally.the reasons the Portuguese, the British when they visited the kingdom, they said they were well organised, fairly develop and prosperous, what was the secret fairness equity and justice to all the subjects.just imagine how many tribes and dialects were then in the kingdom and count them today..let Nigeria leaders learn this lesson from the ancient Benin kingdom, till today all these tribes still say we are from Benin kingdom..why their fore fathers tell them where they came from,if their forefathers were treated badly will they tell their their children children that they from Benin proudly? A case study for the builders of the Nigeria nation.

Yes, even the governor of Delta State should have protested that the action of the military of naming a traditional ruler is not acceptable, that the king should stay back until he is invited by the army.. period.can they do it to the traditional rulers in their places, the Oba of Benin should protest this traditional institution is fore fathers instituted even though it happens in the artificial line of divide that it is not acceptable.. secondly, phycology is everything,if one think this kind will deter the Niger Delta youths probably by joking, did it happened before in Odi.yes.so the only thing a Niger Delta people respect is if you respect them as equal of not their king ho run

My young officer inlaw was killed in same circumstances of responding to a distress call in Niger state in 2020. The issue here, is that some members of the communities the military try to protect connive with the Bandits/Boko Haram/terrorists to set up the ambush. Hence, many atimes, the military lose officers and men hugely in the ambushes due to the sell-out and surprise strategy.

@Trending-News-TV. That's the right thing to do, but some groups do not want the ones that want to be on their own go. This because of the many resources unevenly distributed by the Almighty God in the Nigeria geographic expression. The Fulanis do not have interest in the oneness of Nigeria but tagging along because of their seeming influence in position of control and many other benefits. No oil in the Niger Delta Region, no Ocean Waters in the South of Nigeria enhancing huge commercial activities there won't be Nigeria as it is today.

We will still not succeed. The governors, senators and ministers each region has what have they done for their people that shows they can do better? Or are they going to import new leaders? I will never be in a fight for another's greed. I have never seen any African that wants something for the people, it is always about perosnal interest not the interest of others. The only one I can talk about is Mandela. Other ones are just personal projects to take control. If you think you will be invited at the table when the did Is done you will be shocked to discover it wasn't about u after all

@@henrybangs7544 it is a lie, it is just of the present system of government..if a people knows what the states or regions earns, how it is spent will be more visible, some states of regions may pass a law saying there must a public publication of the state financial account yearly..two , the opposition will be too much a watch dog on the incumbent etc..some may have a good leader like Peter Obi will set a good example and others will copy, that is why true federalism is called a competitive government, some cannot steal their state money and live in that state. It will bring a practice, you can have your own but the masses must have theirs too .like Edo state.dem never born that governor yet to embezzle the people money and be enjoying it among the people ..

😢Let the truth be told. There is no way you will use old method to handle terrorism and get new results. The same way ambush method all the time. With all the drone technology in today's advance warfare, Nigeria Army still allows soldiers to walk into traps. Are we never learning from past losses and deaths?

What played out in Okuoma can never manifest in Niger State. You know why? They have a Governor. My Delta state has a chicken.

Why do we have bandits and terrorist? Are today’s out-of-school-children tomorrows bandits? Education and family planning is needed. If we don’t do it, we will continue to talk about bandits for the next 200 years.
