I was initially excited to see the old olive trees and the archaeological digs at Tel Hebron. You walk so quietly and touch the ancient stones of the walls, this was very moving in my spirit. But then to go to the tombs of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, I was overcome! As you reached out and touched each mezuzah, it was like your hand was an extension of our (the viewers) hands. Very moving! I have seen very limited pictures of the tombs and did not realize the enormity and beauty of the surrounding building of the tombs. I am eternally grateful for this experience, as I will never be able to go see it in person. Toda!!!
