♿️🛳️ Cruising Wheelchair Vlog: Day 1 on the Disney Wish!

Join my medically complex family on our family cruise on the Disney Wish! My name is Isa and I am disabled writer and advocate with a genetic disability which means that my whole family has some sort of medical thing going on. I don’t think I’ve ever seen what I’m about to say on The Wish, but on other Disney ship there were cast member thar stood in Cabana’s at the end of the line and they would take your plates or trays to an open table for the handicap guests.
My son has CP and is confined to a powerchair and we’ve had cast member talked his plate so I didn’t have to balance abs carry two or three plates if food.
Even if they are not standing waiting at the end of the like I’m sure someone in your party could find a cast member to help you.
There was one rare occasion that there was no one to help us, but I happens to see one of the officers and asked him and he was more than happy to help us rather than say he would find someone to help us.

I honestly don’t remember lol. More likely than not I said I didn’t need any help if someone asked.

I happen to come across the video you talk about the disability and some Disney Cruise And Now I’m watching this video… the thing that shock me for a second was you wearing the Face-mask as I’m hearing impaired and I need to be able to read your lips to understand what you’re saying (to Me)

I want to take my dad who has mobility problems. Does disney have wheelchairs we can rent in the ship? Im flying from california to florida and dont want to take the wheelchair.

I don’t believe so. Though in FL there’s a lot of places that will rent. I’m not sure about renting and going on a cruise
