I used to keep perfumes for special occasions till the lockdown taught me that I only have NOW to enjoy.
I WFH so I had to start wearing all my fragrances before they go bad. I have a morning scent, after shower and then night time scent.
I bought these perfumes for my own enjoyment and I consciously make an effort to enjoy them.
There are times I wear BR540 to bed just cause I can & that makes me smile.

I actually bought Mon Guerlain after a break-up because it comforted me so much. The lavender works like aromatherapy, and I often wear it to bed :)
And liking designer Fragrances doesn't make you basic, they're successful for a reason: because they're just good!
I think that niche fragrances that are unisex and are worn by a women, can be confusing to the average non-fragrance person. It is fun getting niche samples and knowing what they smell like, but the designer fragrances bring the compliments and smell like the general public expects. Of course, wear what you want!

Your voice is so therapeutic! My easiest go to fragrance is amazing grace by philosophy. I wore it on my wedding day and just always seems to be an easy go to especially for an office setting at work.
You might like Chance Eau Tendre now Olivia. My mom has it and she loves it and she's very picky with her perfumes and has a sensitive nose when it comes to anything stronger than Eau Tendre. For reference she loves Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenus (her longest owned perfume), Narciso Rodriguez EDP (pink bottle), body mist Nude by RIhanna, and then her Chanel. Everytime I smell it all I can think of is my mom. It is now a smell I associate with my mother cause it just has this nostalgic note in it that i can't pinpoint, it's a comforting scent that makes you want to hug the person who's wearing it. :)
Ilythia, I hope you move your Tiffany EDP Intense to your reach section. I have a huge perfume collection, and it took me a week to decide what scent I would take on a 2 week tour/cruise throughout Alaska with 40 people from my church. I never regretted my choice- Tiffany Intense. It worked for fancy dinners and even box lunches in the wilderness. It didn’t smother anyone, but just smelled soft and lovely the whole time. I almost took Miss Dior EDP. I always enjoy your perfume explanations.

Ilythia I’ve got the same “issue” with Tiffany’s intense perfume. I love the smell of it, it is soooo different than anything else I own and so feminine. And perhaps it’s because of it being so sophisticated that it doesn’t make it an everyday perfume. I love my bottle but I tend to use when I really wear something nice or have a very formal event to attend :)
I managed to luck into a window on Friday that Vanilla 28 was available on Sephora and am SOO excited! I probably wouldn’t have gotten the 3.4oz bottle if the smaller bottle was available but I’m glad I did wind up getting the big guy now. I won’t be as afraid to wear it! Now I have to wait for it to ship 😫
Poison girl is also my easy reach😊 but I have recently added the new Armani Si intense and I have worn it for a week straight! Its so good!
None of the Delinas are in my budget at the moment so I got the Oil Pefumery dupe oil of Delina and it immediately made me nauseated and I got a headache. After that subsided, I was in love 🤣. I go easy on the application and mainly put the oil in my hair and it has become my regular ritual. Lots of compliments just from the oil. Men seem drawn to it.

I’m not one who saves perfumes for special occasions, I wear them according to my mood or if I need a pick me up that day. Life’s too short to save precious things for later! 😘

Flowerbomb was my wedding perfume. I've been wearing it for ten years. Although I don't wear it much anymore as there is SO much choice/ beautiful fragrances out there these days.

I totally agree about Black Opium being an easy reach. I have the original and Floral Shock and they both have the biggest dents for that very reason :)
I absolutely LOOOOVE Delina Exclusif and I am SOO glad I watched your video because now I know not to ever wear it when I have a headache because I don't ever want to get sick of it. I usually only spray a couple of sprays when i do wear it because I don't want to go through it too fast and it definitely is a powerful but very creamy fragrance also.

I think we have very different taste as a couple of your easy reaches are perfumes are ones I know I don’t enjoy (black opium and mon guerlain especially). But, it’s so fun to hear your thoughts and it’s fun to see someone who has different taste so I can stretch my preferences.
I never wear my Tiffani intense either and I also dont know why! I love the scent, but to me, it’s not glamourous, but more to silent, and I wanna get “noticed”, you know 😅🙈I mostly wear it at home or to the gym… But Im gonna wear it more!! It’s such a beatiful scent.

Easy reaches for me are Baccarat, Delina Exclusif and the Only One Instense. I wear what I want when I want as I have no where to dress up and go so I just wear my fragrances whenever.

The sweetness of black opium is why I dislike it. I drink my coffee unsweetened and I guess I like my coffee scents without sweetener too! I’d like to try replica coffee break and akro awake. I do hope to find a coffee fragrance I love one day.

My tastes have changed too. I'm decluttering fragrances as well. I tend to reach for Gucci Guilty Intense when I don't know what to wear. Love & Crime and Lipstick On are my easy reaches. Love Don't Be Shy isn't bc it's so expensive
The black opium neon smelled weird to me, but I like all the other flankers especially nuit Blanche. I think REM by Ariana Grande is an easy reach. It’s inexpensive and very comforting. I get a lot of compliments on it too.
I completely understand about your not so easy reaches because everyone of those except the blue turquoise (don't own)I totally agree aren't everyday for me but once I get Delina that's it for a long time. Your content never disappoint.💛💛💛
Agree with you, Baccarat rouge 540 smrlls so unforgettable. You might mix it up to others once you smelled it. It's not a fragrance for most of the occasion. It's for a special night. I don't know why, it's still in the shelf alone. But if you wear it, you feel like you want to be the catchy one.

Easiest reach for me recently has been Pink Sugar lol. I hate the top notes but the dry down smells so good on my skin and I can still smell it on me to the next day. Also it helps its very inexpensive and easy to findm
My easiest go-to fragrance is Milk Musk EDT by Molton Brown. A soft vanilla, not too strong, but that lasts so well. Not overpowering, and I feel myself when I wear it. And my easiest reaches for the night are Dovana or Florentina by Sylvaine Delacourte, or Tea Escape from Margiela. 😊
The thing about Girl of Now is that it's very strong, so I can't wear it even though I don't find it too sweet.
The two niche brands I feel are most accessible in terms of scents are Kilian and Parfum de Marly with the whole delina range. Also I just bit the bullet today and got flowerbomb. It’s such a nice perfume!! Love the sweet tea scent in the opening!! And then the dry down, I understand clean musk now. It dries down, on me at least, so creamy and mixed with the vanilla, so good! I recently got more into fragrance so might be a bit behind on stuff like flowerbomb 😂
I love all my fragrances equally, but my easy reach this season are florabotanica, changing Constance, sandalwood temple, and pas ce soir. Some days I find myself in the mood for tiziana terenzi “wirtanen”. My bed time perfume is BDK gris charnel.

Kay Ali vanilla 28. Smell a like something a 16 year old would wear. It smells like bubble gum or sugared water. Not for me.

My easy reach for me are from Chloe line. I'm just not sure if I will try Nomade but I'm hesitant to blind buy because they said it can be masculine. I want girly womanly perfume just like the rest from the Chloe line.

23:30 Agree on the headache decisions thing. Also when you're hungry I think your sense of smell is more sensitive. My boyfriend tried to take me to the mall to pick out a new perfume before my birthday dinner this year and it was a nightmare because I was almost hypoglycemic I was so hungry, smelled at least 10 and didn't end up getting anything 😂

My easy reach is Marc jacobs eau so fresh because it works for any and every occasion. Fresh and light. Hard to reach probably YSL libre because even though it is SO universal, it is luxurious smelling and sometimes I don’t want that simply for errands

From what I understand and I could be wrong, the moment the atomizer is sprayed, and oxygen enters the bottle, it begins to degrade slowly, and the more air in the bottle and the less perfume, the faster it will turn. Citrusy perfumes turn faster than non-citrus perfumes. Some perfumes will last years opened if stored correctly, but some will turn faster. 💗

I have chance eau tendre in the edt. I prefer fruity over powdery so that’s why I went with the edt. It’s a strong grapefruit with a tartness to it. The lasting power is not as good as the eau fraiche. I’m more than half way through my 100ml and I’m on the fence about repurchasing. I think the tartness does it for me. I’ve never owned a fragrance like that.

A little secret of mine. I have the Chance eau tendre body lotion which I use when I wear my baccarat and people go bonkers. I’m not even kidding. One compliment per hour on average.
Yes,I tend to save the expensive ones for special ocassions that never happen lol.I have same issue with Tiffany perfume,I rarely reach for it. And I have some perfumes that I m on the fence with up for decant and I sold some decants lately and I noticed it started to bother me to put such dents into my bottles,I dont know why,its really weird.The ones I cant really see through dont bother me so much,like This is Her Z&V ,but I recently sold a 10ml from Pure XS and it really bothered me afterwards.Same happend with La belle JPG the one with vetiver and I ended up selling it,I had the 100ml bottle and I sold 10 ml after I already put like a 20 ml maybe dent in it myself .To see the bottle like that I donno, I had to sell it.I will purchase the new La belle le parfum I think I like that one better anyway.It just made me think lately why Im so bothered to put dents into my bottles for decants.I remember you saying something similar about Vanilla from Kayali.And lately I ve also been on this crazy behaviour to buy buy buy new perfumes and I feel I dont take time to enjoy enough the ones I already have.

The chanel eau tendre i would defo recommend the edt not edt as the coco mademosile i find the edp not so easy to reach but the edt is so easy going i really want tiffaney intense aswel.

Easiest reach no matter what I am wearing where I am going is Libre and the most difficult reach is Champaca Absolu by Tom Ford it is extremely boujee. That’s why I don’t purchase perfume like these anymore. I want to get use out of my perfumes. I am not going to any special occasions anymore so why waste money on something I am not going to wear. I just ordered a couple of other easy reach fragrances because even tho I have a small collection and they are most of them pretty easy to reach for some of them I have to be dressed a certain way… I know I am weird 🙃 also enjoy you miss Dior girl! If you are saving it you are going to end up with expired perfumes!That would be a waste.. you have 5 back ups and with you collection they will last you forever!!!
My easy reach is Still by Jennifer Lopez.....I know, not glamorous 😂 but it's lovely. It was a blind buy after I saw the lovely Veronica Says talking about it in her channel, she's got 5 back ups 😂😂
