I'm impressed by the books that come with it, and how much is in the teacher guide! I'll love to hear more from you after you've used this, especially as to whether you feel like it gives a culturally well-rounded look at early history in North America. Looks like a fun year, rich in history!
This was so helpful! I'm going with this for my two boys this year as a family study. The way you did this was so informative and thorough, so appreciated! Thank you!
I always check Rainbow Resource Center for prices, too. I can sometimes get better deals than used prices on Amazon or Thrift books. I definitely check RR for games, puzzles, manipulatives(including Legos), and enrichment. My library is terrible unfortunately.
We are doing MB Americas story 1 with beautiful feet children's book of American History with a ton a readers. This year is a heavy literature year for us.
I actually bought this guide last year when it first came out. I was excited about the diversity. I will be pulling some of it in over the next couple of years. We're doing a slow walk through American history. I can't wait to see what you and your daughter do with this program. I know it's going to be epic. 💕Just a fyi on the Hiawatha book it is pronounced like "Hi uh Wah the".
Thank you so much ! I knew I pronounced it wrong lol. We are taking it slow in American History as well. I can not wait to share our update on this curriculum. It looks amazing so far.😍
@@brittanyolga Next year I plan on using Do It Yourself Time Travel Studies American History. Before 1500s- today, however, they want you to do your own research. So, one assignment is researching Indian tribes of today and writing about trials and troubles they face. It seems promising, but you never know.
How are you liking it now Brittany?? Love your channel 🥰 Thanks for introducing us to Heritage Mom!

have you seen the channel tasha pivots, she created a curriculum around the book heart and soul, i think it would fit well with beautiful feet books
I have her curriculum as well I forgot to mention it. I will definitely be using it as a resource as well. 😍
I wished I had done beautiful feet the last few years. They are so beautiful and such a good fit for elementary years. 😍😍
I was thinking the same thing. I really wished we would have done the Around the World in picture books our when my daughter was in the third grade. 😊
I'm excited to do Geography with beautiful feet.
I heard that unit from Beautiful Feet was amazing too.
It is so hard to find a history curriculum that isn't white-washed and praise Columbus.
It really it. I hope this curriculum will be a great fit for us. So far I am loving all of the literature selections.

What is thr child's "notebook" is it just lined paper or is it needed to complete this curriculum
Yup it is just lined paper . I opted out of their notebook and I am just using one of our own.
Perfect thank you! I purchased a few Composition notebooks prior to choosing this curriculum! So I went ahead and removed it from my pkg.
You are doing homeschool as a black women and decided to teach HISTORY from a book ?
Yes ! I really needed a guide to pull off from. I really feel like I can achieve all from history by using living books and multiple resources.😊
