It gets slighlty irritating to me when big artists like LP give the audience to do their job too often
Agreed. At first it was Cute, giving the audience a chance to sing a classic but after a while it was just lazy in my opinion.
It's a smart move because Emily can't sing old songs like Chester, but I think she is awesome in new songs written for her voice.
The audience is supposed to sing parts of this song in honor and memory of Chester. Mike asked the audience at the LA secret show (on Sept 5th) to sing in honor of Chester. They probably carried that forward here.
@@_andyslol..she can sing Chester's parts just fine. She doesn't have the same growl as Chester. Hers is more like Jerod Leto.

I think the whole point of her sharing the mic with the audience is to have the audience sing in honor of Chester. That’s what happened did at the secret show in LA on Sept. 5th.
The point is to give the crowd the moment sing as Chester's voice... They do this with big songs.

1. Mike said "In the role of chester is each and everyone of you", of course the audience will sing along
2. Especially when there is a concert, famous songs are played, we will end up singing our voices there together with the masses who know the lyrics. This is an irreplaceable sensation. Yes, you will came home hoarse, that kind of adrenaline that you enjoy for 2 hours.
3. Let Emily rest for a bit.
4. Emily didn't want take over all the song by herself, she respect the audience to filling the chester role.
5. This was played in a different city and country, so it was impossible to sing a full song by herself,
This is not the same as those of you who just watch it on UA-cam.
So please stop thinking stupidly by saying too much giving the microphone to the audience.

Getting more comfortable doesn't mean she's at a stage already were she feels that she can comfortably lead the classics without the crowd stepping in so frequently. And it also could very well be that she still enjoys it because she, like Chester, was a fan of a group and then was presented with the opportunity to be a main part of its history.. the fan portion doesn't suddenly disappear.
