We had it much tougher on Saturday. My son has a tournament there later this month, but it is a beautiful place. Our first trip was interesting, running those boat lanes.
Honestly in June you can’t go wrong on Caddo. Topwater bite will be in full swing, I personally like the green break and Ames basin areas. But anywhere near tuckers launch and old folks playground is good too. Good luck
coming down to try lake in March or April probably in Mid March. 71 yrs old don't fish tournaments. I live in Vian ok about 7 1/12 hrs away . Can you help me out on a couple of srots so I don't waste so much time looking. will fish for about two days
Yessir, mid March is a great time to be on Caddo! Honestly you can catch them just about anywhere on Cypress trees in 2’ - 3’ of water. If you search google, you can find a map and look for Green Break. It’s a great place to catch fish. Good Luck
Awesome trip and video! I'm glad you caught them!
Thanks!
Caddo was on fire this time of year ! Can't wait till spring again, was out there Sunday afternoon and caught 11
I am looking forward to the spring as well. Looking forward to deer season a little more tho. lol
Thanks Randy…great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
What's a good public ramp to use, and fish around the area of that ramp? Tia....
If you launch at tuckers on the Texas side, there is great fishing right there by the ramp. 5$ launch fee.

Yes the fishing has slowed way down since earlier in the week. Should have another wave of spawning fish moving up soon tho
@RDB Outdoors
I am planning to be back this weekend looking for some productive waters.
I haven't been on caddo in over 35 years. My wife and I are going to state park in June. What areas would you suggest I start at?
