Oppo is a brilliant brand for phones, I recently picked up the oppo A5 for £100 reduced from £160 and it's decent. Got a lot of features you would see on pricier phones so I'm happy with my purchase
Held off getting the Find X2 Pro as this was announced and early impressions so far, I'm glad that I did. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on upgrading from my Pixel 2 XL to this when it's released. Hopefully the review is positive!

Amazing review as always! I believe the price is not justified for what we get and the fact that most people are impacted negatively from the pandemic! I was hoping that they will think about people when pricing their devices, but I was wrong! I will stick to my Xiaomi mi 11 for the time being and will probably buy the oppo find x3 pro in few months from CEX for half the price 😅

I'm happy to say although I don't dislike this new Oppo Find X3, I am pretty sure I won't be salivating over the new one to rush out and replace my Oppo Find X3 I purchased last year. Chris was right about one thing, I don't/won't even pick up my last last years model without a cover on it, so it's not a surprise this one is just as slippery a buggar. I don't like the fact they have the duel sim, but no micro SD. why can't these be standard? you can either get sim/SD or sim/sim, Why can't sim/sim/SD be standard on premium or Pro phones for this kind of price. The camera bump is a turn off on this. I'm curious how it will mark/wear when it's laid on flat surfaces etc. I customized mine on set up and though Chris talks about the Color OS, I do use the Niagara Launcher which Chris reviewed separately to phone revues. I especially like the edge lighting/vibrate notification which is great for hearing impaired people who people forget "do use phones" for many other uses if not for speech. The settings feature I agree is my one frustration as it wasn't the easiest to navigate... especially to sync to my car. It's great to see great battery life again, though it last so long it's easy to get complacent and forget it needs charging once in a while! Definitely interested in the "final review" as I found Oppo because of Chris review last year.

Samsung will want its affiliated channels to instead compare the more expensive s21U, about £150 more with the same spec, to make Samsung look better, but in the main market of China these will sell far better than the s21+ or the s21U. Consumers tend to go with what they know, so OPPO will struggle to please Samsung fans as they are mostly stuck in their ways, but comparing with the Samsung flagship S21+ the X3 is as good or better in most regards.

Oh no, you missed out the 'microscopic' photo mode. It's supposed to crazy zoom into a subject so detailed it's microscopic.
Have to admit oppo has done a very nice job..
I had the Find X2 Pro and the display suffered from tinting issues. I wouldn't buy another BBK product until they improve their quality control.
