so useful! I've been suffering with shoulder instability for almost a year. this is the first time I've done anything that actually makes sense with feeling where the stability is actually supposed to come from. thank you !
@@ceryswoolley3688same...I feel my shoulders cluncking in the throwing position (as you go back and forth). It's not like when I was young and I knew that I was subluxing them but now they feel sort of loose and cluncky. X
Going to be trying these along with the knee pain exercises. My current physio is lovely but I haven't gotten any help on how I can manage pain through movement, just exercises to strengthen. Thank you for this 🙏
Absolutely spectacular. So many other exercises are clearly not made with hyper mobility in mind and just makes things worse for us. This is the first time genuinely feeling really good with a shoulder exercise! Thanks so much!
Thank you! I’ve been drawn to ballet arm exercises recently (used to dance a lot and it suited me well), these exercises are so similar so will continue and maybe add some music in.
So I'm here from an EDS support site in Facebook, I'm in dire need if help and I seem to have fallen down the referral rabbit hole. I've been referred for tests at UCL which I'm still waiting for and I'll have had little to no help or input from rheumatology as they are waiting on results from UCL. You have been highly recommended and I just wanted you to know you have really made a difference. So I have a new challenge ahead bit thank you for the time taken to present this.
@@JeannieDiBonHypermobility tjank you so so much xxxx well I'm trying out you system as I've had a lot of mobility issues lately and I'm determined not to give up abd be stuck in my wheelchair. It's good to see someone doing detailed videos that are easy to understand and I know are designed with Zebra's in mind.
Thanks this might he, but, after my car wreck last August , it's been said it takes sometimes a year for the body too re-ajust (heal), what do you feel towards this, fact ?
My joints are so lax, my muscles are so tight that a lot of these exercises are extremely painful for me but I think my body is getting used to this morning regime? I'm persevering lol. Hopefully my body will become stronger 💪 in some way ?
@@JeannieDiBonHypermobility I've really been stupid with my other health problems since Wednesday evening. It's been very difficult, but if I can't manage the exercises at all I give myself a couple of days without them or just do one or two of them then going on to do the more severely when I'm feeling like I can manage them. By severely, I mean following two or three of your videos and cherry picking some exercise I can manage from each one. I don't push myself. So far I've learned the teacher just makes me far far worse in the long run lol. It's difficult with me because one health problem goes against another. I have hypermability suspected EDS but UK doctors have found in the last few weeks won't diagnose people unless they live down in the London area and pay privately. I've got suspected arthritis but the doctors have never bothered to find out. Suspected IBS but they've never looked into it enough to find out. I have fibromyalgia, and overactive thyroid but keeps constantly being unstable. Also extreme sensitivities which absolutely plague my body on the worst things that I have. I also have a very mild blood clotting problem. I also have heart problems but I don't know if anything life threatening or not so I don't think I can face finding out at this stage? I don't think they are unless they get worse. It's so difficult for me because one of those problems goes against the other so I have to be really careful when moving at all and the hyperbility thyroid and sensitivities of being getting extremely worse since August 2022. EDS UK told me about you and I've done the research myself enough to find you on UA-cam so that's great. I've looked at your website and I will follow you as long as I need to lol. He's a difficult road for me and some days it's easier or even harder than others, but at least if I do something I think that may help to some degree. It doesn't seem to have made me worse that's for sure. It also makes me feel supported knowing that somebody else is in a similar position to me and that I can follow your videos and talk to you if or when possible? With all of that in mind. I don't feel so alone with this.

Thank you Jeannie! My shoulders dislocate about 1000 times a day. This is going to help me so much to learn and master. Your a life saver!
Thank you. Glad it’s helped.
How do you know that it dislocates ?
@@HappyCoco9823 personally I feel clunking. But that might not be the way everyone experiences it... sorry its a year late...

Hi Jeannie, this was perfect timing. And thank you for turning your back to us because it helps me to understand the movement. You're the best!

This was very helpful. I dislocated my shoulder six month ago and am still struggling to get the movement correct.
Glad it’s useful
Thank you thank you! My shoulders have become so loose, and this is the perfect way to ease back into building some muscle.
Excellent.
Hi Jeannie, can I know whether these exercises are okay for a hypermobility dislocated shoulder? Thank you!
If your shoulder is dislocated, it needs to be back in place first before exercising.
Thank you. why do my shoulders and arms shake with resistance band exercises
That can happen. Can’t give any personal answers here though without knowing your history.
Thanks this might he, but, after my car wreck last August , it's been said it takes sometimes a year for the body too re-ajust (heal), what do you feel towards this, fact ?
People with EDS / HSD do take longer than offers to heal.
@@JeannieDiBonHypermobilityosteoporosistoo.!
What if lifting arms up above head to do exercises causes lots of pain for days afterwards like it does for me?
Go lower - start supine, small range plus relaxation techniques could be worth trying. Lots of shoulder content on here.

Go slow, gentle. Don’t push into pain. Find your baseline & build up from there 🙌
