I have both and love them both. I give a nod to the KO3 because it is slightly quieter, better block spacing, and the lettering is about 1/4" taller making it more prominent in looks
Just got the KO3s on my Tundra this morning. I was running the AT3s before which were great on dry dirt, rocky roads but sucked in the snow and terrible in little mud. Excited to put the KO3s to the test. My Tundra is my hunting rig so it'll see eveything from pavement, to all types of dirt roads
I’ll tell you I have the KO3s and my god are they amazing tires. They don’t feel like there skidding across wet pavement like the KO2s and you definitely get traction, I have not used them in snow so don’t know how they are.
how’s your experience in the rain? my biggest fear is wet roads and i haven’t heard great things about ko2 on wet roads, curious how much better ko3 is?
I had K02s on a gen 2 Tacoma and they were tough tires, never had a puncture. But they almost killed me 3 different good times in the rain, sliding out in the road. They scared me to death. I've had 3 sets of Falkens after that and never went back. If the new K03 comes in load c, white letter, the size I want and if they hook up in the rain, I would consider it.
I don’t know, I have the new Toyo R/T trail and I have been in everything mud, snow, ice, rain, red clay, sand and I love them. In my opinion the better then the all terrain. And I have a 3500 diesel truck and I pull a 12,000 pound toy holler with them too.
We had K02’s on our Wrangler, but the Falkens AT3w’s on our Gladiator. Both do very well off road. The BFG seemed to pack up more in mud/snow between the 2, and in our part of the country heavy rain is a big deal. The Falkens hands down do better in the rain, and I believe is a bit better in the snow but either will get it done. Really can’t go too wrong either way.
I've run BFG's on different vehicles and had blowout's on each one. The first was a tree branch i drove over and it punched a hole in the side wall, and the other i was diving down the highway when it blew out. Tire shop said it was from a rock drilling it's way between the tread. It took out a 3" diameter chunk of inner tire and hole you could put a 1/4" drive extension through.
About to pull the pin on KO3's and took a lot of searching to find ones in a load range "C" but was able to locate in one size: 285/70/17 Not a lot of reviews on it all the talk is surrounding "E" load range on the KO3's.... appreciate any feedback on it and I want both off road and street comfort ride is important.
Are you running them in SL, C or E? Got about 40k on mine and they are starting to get loud and wet performance is suffering. Looking at new shoes soon. They have been great so far, much better than the KO2 I had previously.
Good video I have KO2's on my truck right now and they've cracked on the side considerable right where the tread almost ends and I'm getting the KO3's put on there Michelin care has directed me to a tire place that I will get a refund and I'll put it towards the new set and like you said the compound in the KO2's is a little hard the KO3's are better hopefully preventing that splitting but yeah my tires are year old and they're losing air so design fly I guess but good video
I love the BFG KO line HOWEVER my KO3 are going back to discount tomorrow. Not having “Stone ejectors” on the KO3 has become a pain in the butt. Love the look of them BUT having to pick out stones is getting old after 2 weeks.
Do you know if I can keep my KO2 spare tire and use it if necessary as long as the tire sizes are the same? I think I read somewhere that you shouldn’t do that but can’t understand why that would be the case.
What are the price of these new tires?I have the old style on my 2001 Chevy.S ten pick up they are fifteen inch Rims but they are 33 inch tires. Please comment back thank you
@@RealDealNeal Strange. I have run Falkens, Ridge Grapplers, K02s and several others. The K02s have by far been the best snow tire I've ever had. I've run these on Jeep Wrangler and F250 super duty diesel. My only complaint with K02s was they were a little noisy and tread life on the heavy truck was not good. Tread life on the jeep is great.
So in a 315/70/17 how much do they weight against the Goodyear MTs (Bronco)? Sure would be nice to find a C load range for an 18 and 20 that hits at least a 34”

Just put the order in for 295/70 R18 this morning replacing Nitto G2. Let’s just say after this it’s no longer a blind order. GREAT review!

Are they comfortable? Aren't they too noisy?
Did you get the c or e stiffer load range ?

Would have loved to pick up these K03 on my F150 but the release date made me life to Nitto RG
How about a review of Nokia Outpost nAT? Good enthusiasm!
Ive never run the Bf Goodrich KO2 or KO3 but the Toyo Open Country AT3s are an amazing tire!!! I got 70,000 miles out of my first set of them.

I like the KO/3 better than the KO/2. I got 90,000 miles on a set of five KO/2's.
I’m grabbing a set for my Jeep TJ next week. Can’t wait!

Did the KO2 have stone ejectors? I occasionally have to pick stones from my KO2.

Curious if the 37X12.50X20 available?

That's my exact question, but I'm assuming if you just use the spare like anY other spare in a car to get you from point A to point B should be ok.
Datejust 41, mint green, oyster steel, jubilee bracelet with fluted bezel. Choice.
Anyone have experience with the KO3 and Falken AT4? Which is more comfortable?

KO2 was horrible in snow. Been running Falkens ATW3 a long time and they’re good year round in all terrains. We’ll see how the KO3 does in winter.
Awesome would love to hear you feedback

Why are you yelling?
cause I'm pumped!! lets go
I always yell when I talk
About tires, are you telling me you don’t???
Don’t do drugs kids
Del Gue would say that is because he's afraid. (Jeremiah Johnson movie's character)
😂

Facts. It should be around 6lb lighter
Let's wait until the Yokohama Geolandar AT/4 G018 gets real in the market...
I just got enough of tire talk for a decade.
Only one question, i have existing KO2 but inly want to replace 2 tires with KO3... is that ok?
TWO DIFFERENT TRUCKS!!!! THEY DO RIDE DIFFERENTLY!!!!!
is there a reason this is so exciting ?
Yes it is better
💯
The KOs are well-known for cupping bad. Did they solve that issue?
yes sir
I suppose you are not using your Ford Raptor.
Looks like a good review. Not sure what language this chap is speaking? Subtitles could help us English speaking folk.
Love my nitto RG
Why you not test in wet?
I will
@@RealDealNealbeen 2 months, how are they in rain?
K oh 3 or k zero 3?
Neither. It's K for Key and "O" for Off road. Therefore KM3 is K for Key and M for Mud.
Ko3 they’re going back to discount tire tomorrow too much vibration and they rebalance twice
I bet in a blind test, you could not tell the difference between the two.
Why do you yell at your viewers?
Cause I’m pumped
@@RealDealNeal ok sounds good loud but good👍🏻
Different curb weight on different tires. Too bad for a far comparison
I know the videos this dude took the info from
Your dialect is almost unintelligible with that poor microphone and the yelling. Better luck next time.
I can assure you I'm smarter than I sound.. turn it down if you don't like me being excited lol
Why do you scream. Just talk like a normal person.
I’m pumped. Sorry bro
