I started playing the game a couple weeks ago and these build order guides have been super nice. I _almost_ understand how to play the first two ages lmao. Once I get to castle age I tend to get totally lost though. There's so much going on and I don't really know how to efficiently think about what is happening.
hahaha I do everything the same as he does, and I still get between C - F. jk, somehow I'm delaying on something. I need to improve my timing 🤔 I think.
When practicing buildorders we tend not to push deer. You're just learning the very basic start, and it can be improved from there. The reason being: 1) in some maps the deer is in an awkward position, and you're not able to take them. 2) Another reason is that scouting is very important, at the start. Knowing your own base, and where the enemy's resources are.
Delaying horse collar for archers, m@a, etc., is pretty much the meta these days. You can't afford it in early Feudal, and it's not worth delaying castle to get it mid Feudal. My original 23 pop build has early horse collar, but would be considered too slow.
@@cicero8676 is there merit to attempting 1 range archers into fast castle if you are Britons or have a good bonus with British ally? Is it worth getting access to siege archers monks and pikes earlier and extra tc's earlier or are you giving up too much space and map control by having too little army in the longer term? Edit: idea being you go up to feudal earlier and start archer production earlier plus the British bonus for faster production

what were your times like, cos if it isn't 8min I think its not an A+
Always make sure your TC is making a vil. 5 secs of TC idle and you will get A instead of A+.
So in this build order you do not hunt your deer?

16 farms without horse collar? Isn't that a bit too much?
