I just found this performance through a musical compilation video and it gave me chills when I first heard it. I cannot get over how he executed 5:25 because everything about that moment is so perfect from the emotions to the vocal quality!! He's so talented and he makes this song look and sound so easy to perform.
I think I may have found this by the same video. Heard the “oh, you’re just being kind” and I swear I saw god. When straight to search for this particular video. He does it so perfectly in this one.
@@Ifnotnowthenwhen-r8s Wow. I didnt know I was in the presence of a higher power, particularly one who thinks his opinion is the only correct one. Enjoy your life. Be kind. I only made a comment, as did you. BTW, a vibrato is not a bad thing. It was not a negative comment.
5:25 probably one of the most exquisite vocal phrases i've ever heard. So complex but of course jeremy makes it seem effortless. I'm pissed why does he get all the talent
This is my very first time ever hearing this song and I truly believe i will not hear a better version than this anywhere. I love broadway, i love jeremy jordan, and...this was just absolutely amazing. I cannot think of a better way for me to be introduced to this song.
Christian Tassin. Ce chanteur a une voix extraordinaire, il y a longtemps que je n'ai pas ressenti autant de plaisir et d'émotion en écoutant Jeremy Jordan. Il donne beaucoup d'intensité dans l'interprétation des chansons. Bravo Monsieur.
SALLY: The sun comes up, I think about you. The coffee cup, I think about you. I want you so, It's like I'm losing my mind. The morning ends, I think about you. I talk to friends, I think about you. And do they know? It's like I'm losing my mind. All afternoon, Doing every little chore, The thought of you stays bright. Sometimes I stand In the middle of the floor, Not going left, Not going right. I dim the lights And think about you, Spend sleepless nights To think about you. You said you loved me, Or were you just being kind? Or am I losing my mind? I want you so, It's like I'm losing my mind. Does no one know? It's like I'm losing my mind. Lovely rendition. The first time I heard this Sondheim classic - I was a kid, and it was on "The Carol Burnett Show" and STEVE LAWRENCE sang it, in a bossa nova-inflected version not far removed from this. The song stuck with me since. Just goes to show how a great song can stand many interpretations - in this case, ranging from a heartwrenching torch song sung by a middle-aged housewife to a dreamy ode sung by a lovestruck teenager.
This is me about you Jeremy since I started watching Supergirl two weeks ago and now I'm up to date and found out your this amazing wonderful Broadway Singer aswell - totally losing my mind about you
So I heard the interpretation he was going for and thought there is no way he can make this song happy. I was wroooong. The only opposite interpretation of a song I've ever seen that's just as good as the intended. Bravo.
The intro notwithstanding, this is NOT how this song should be sung. Period. End of sentence. It's a glorious, bittersweet Sondheim melody, and this version AIN'T it.
He's got a beautiful voice but hate his rendition of this classic song. It's like he sees Gainsborough's Blue Boy and says "I know what it needs - Red!".

I love how at the end he's like "Oh Thanks! That's very nice..." As is he didn't just brutally murder that song in the best way ever.
Pro trick : you can watch series at flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Grey Roger Definitely, have been watching on flixzone} for since december myself =)
@@greyroger9909 oh definitely noted, thank you 😊😊
Jeremy's vibrato = goose bumps every time. Wow. What a gift.
He has no vibrato ..have your hearing checked...
@@Ifnotnowthenwhen-r8s my hearing is fine.
@@carolloveskiwis .telling yourself and others it is doesn't make it so..🦠

Wow...such a great rendition of a beautiful song. Just him, his vocals and the piano. Wonderful!

Just loosing my s%t over this dude. This is the 3rd vid from the same gig and just can't get enough of it.
Best singer I've ever heard my favourite singer of this generation he's such an inspiration and I love everything about him💞💞
This is SO much better than the video of the 54 above performance going around. I get it in this one.

Tough.
I've listened to this at least once a day for the past week and I'm still not tired of it cuz it's just THAT good
Artistically I love the Dynamic of his Studio 54 version for the first half of this piece, but this one has a great resolve that I really appreciate
So I heard the interpretation he was going for and thought there is no way he can make this song happy. I was wroooong. The only opposite interpretation of a song I've ever seen that's just as good as the intended. Bravo.
a major talent...build a show just for him please.
I can’t fucking watch videos with Jeremy Jordan. I don’t stop.
Omg this is sooooooo beautiful!!!!
How in the FK does this man not have a Tony or two!!!
Even when he hits a bad note, he saves it. And it sounds gorgeous! AGH! /jealousy
Ok now I just listened to the song and now I'm crying
5:25 I'm dead. It's amazingly beautiful
Gorgeous.
The way jeremy jordan looks at nothing>>>
2:44 song starts (for my own convenience lmao)
i love it!
Bravo!
He had me at raise a little hell.
5:25 how did this make me so unbearably sad

my god, he is the best. frick
2:45
I like to think falling in love sounds like Jeremy jordan
Is there a better version of this song?... I thought the "red dress" renditions were the ultimate... I was wrong.
What key is this in?
i think its in E pianotrax.com/song/losing-my-mind
