Holy moly finally someone talks about the GOAT Raid Mode! Sunk so much time into Revelations Raid Mode on 3DS. I should try the Raid Mode of Revelations 2 at some point.
There’s barely any deep dives about it out there so I decided to dedicate a full video to it because I really think its a hidden gem. Also yeah Revelations 2 is its complete own beast with so much more content and its own quirks, i’d highly recommend you do :)
Raid mode would do well as a stand alone concept, not those odd PvP ideas they gave us Use the full roster, from Chris to Ethan, from Wesker to Heisenberg. Use levels from any game, RE1-6, Code Veronica, Zero, etc. They are sitting on an amazing concept for a separate game or bonus game to next main game
One thing to keep in mind about dodging in Rev1...The X button isn't needed at all to dodge, unless you want to dodge and turn around at the same time. All you have to do is move the left stick upwards at the right time. Be careful, though, you can't do it if you're already moving forwards. It's really strange how this game lies to you and fails to explain how the didge mechanic really works.
@@cams3879 I’ve read somewhere that Raid Mode on the 3DS was initally designed for players to get a few games in until they put it away for later. Wouldn’t surprise me if that translated super well into the second game with the Switch Port
i didn't like rev1 because story not interesting , environment design either.. unlike rev2 i loved the story v much, not much into mercenaries nor raid mode, but love story dlcs like separate ways
A mode I probably never played? Good sir. Not only did I play raid mode, I got the platinum trophy on ps3, and ps4. I fucking loved the first Revelations game because of raid mode. Unfortunately I never really like Rev 2 because it's raid mode didn't have a ghost ship, most levels were only like a minute in length.
@@thecasualcanuck4590 yeah now that I think about it I would’ve appreciated some type of long-haul/final test type mission because Code Red wasn’t cutting it

Raid mode would’ve been siiiiiiick in re4 remake

And in case you DO want to turn around, you'd have to move the left stick downwards and press X at the same time.
@@magnumlover1976 Initally I thought I must’ve missed some important explanation in my campaign playthrough 😂
BP is Bounty Points as is written in the JP concept art book
yeah, just like in Parasite Eve
Revelations 2 has the best gameplay out of all RE games.
@@Kara_Pabuc It might seriously be up there with the best ones. It 100% has the best dodging out of them all.
Honestly, I LOVE raid mode. I found myself not even playing the main story just to hop on and only play raide mode.
@@Bathttoaster I started Raid first before I realized there’s certain unlocks I gotta get by finishing campaign lol
Ive sunk a few hours into rev2 on ps4 but i wholeheartedly enjoyed it more on the Switch, i easily have like 300 hours on the switch version

35:31 You're telling me this raid mode comes with a whole campaign???
Thats exactly how those games felt to me tho LMAO
I loved Revelations 1 way more than 2 put so many hours but man this mode was rad!

@@BxPanda7 have fun!
@@ptrcrispy Game boots to a black screen and none of the fixes seem to fix it 😭

@@BxPanda7 True. Honestly should've played the modern re-releases for Rev 1 anyway since they got the most features.
maybe bp is battle points?
Damn raid mode
Ive been on it recently.
2:05 bonus points (i guess?)
