Being someone who fishes small club lakes with my young son, silvers in the winter are a go to on a days fishing. These tips are invaluable for our fishing as much as for the match guys - thank you so much for these great videos.
Love that mate. We all know when you’re young it doesn’t matter what you’re catching, it’s about falling in love with it all. No one needs the pressure of matches at a young age, all about just being there but of course catching!
@@stoikes - he’s 7 and I’ll fish the method while he fishes short pole, as long as there are fish of any size he’ll count every one and “beats me” every session even if one carp is 10 times his total weight 😂
Winter Species Roach, there is nothing like a big net of red fins in winter. you catapult my abilities forward with your tips and tricks thanks Jamie and Matrix.
Roach have to be my favorite winter fish, it was the first fish I caught on a Roach pole many moons ago and installed my love of fishing. Thanks for the coaching and tips the insight that lies beneath helps the pleasure angler catch more fish and enjoy their time on the bank.
Favourite winter species has got to be the Roach. The first time I went fishing was in a Park lake when I was 6yrs old (some 65yrs ago) with my Dad & I caught 72 Roach - so of course they have always been my favourite species. Great informative video Jamie.👍🏻🎣
Favourite silver is skimmers, you get them feeding right on the day, you get bites all day and can put a good weight together ,great video been fishing year's but still can learn from watching them👍🙂
A great video would have been brilliant if we could have seen the float! Had similar prob yesterday with sun in eyes and a strong ripple. Really difficult to judge the feeding across different venues, but will def try out the different rigs.
Another fantastic video full of advice from the Jamie the fishing Jedi Hughes. The improvement in my fishing has been immense since I started watching this man. An absolute legend. For a winter fish it's got to be the roach for me. A beautiful little fish. Nothing better than a bag of roach. Thanks for everything Jamie.
Great indepth explanation of how you do things Jamie do you think silverfish fishing is evolving or more the fact we are going back to older style fishing just with modern tackle advantages
