Holmgren in pre draft interviews gave Orlando the cold shoulder-(even with Gonzaga's Suggs there)-He didnt want to be the man--Banchero is the man---Now rookie holmgren playing pseudo gangster in commercials with sga-🤣-He gotta stay out of Seattle Sonic territory tho--thats where he broke his foot
I love these crossover episodes. Every single thing he said about what Orlando needs is exactly what Ant does. Never even thought to throw in Timelord but I would be very happy with that trade and could see both sides going for it… Orlando would talk themselves into that pick being bad, and Portland has to hope the league figures Orlando out and that the east will get healthier
I don't even need WCJ back in the trade but the final swap of WCJ for Timelord seems perfect to balance out the scales. I would be very satisfied if this was announced later on this summer. Well done Mike!
Looking over Magic's assets, we should get for Simons: DEN's 1-5 protected 2025 pick, BOS/MEM 2025 2nd round pick, PHX/WAS 2026 1sy round pick (probably won't convey), and maybe some unknown PF or center they want to unload.
no way in hell, im the first to let go of Anferno but, that is nonsense. even an unprotected wouldnt work, especially gamble or not giving up Rob W. i rather have rob in portland build up his stock back or if unjured help us tank again.
Orlando has been rumored to have a foot in the Trae Young trade talks. That may not happen now that Atl has the #1 pick. Simons is a poor man’s affordable Trae Young. If Orlando wants a shooter they better act quickly with an offer that gets Joe Cronin’s attention. If not they will be just watching the playoffs poolside next year. Count on teams like the Knicks, Philly, Bulls, Miami, Detroit, Nets, Clippers, Houston, Dallas, Lakers, even San Antonio inquiring about Simons, Thybulle, Brogdon, Williams, and Grant. Don’t sit back and just watch Orlando.
I’m trying to think of other potential landing spots for Simons. Brooklyn and San Antonio seem like the cleanest fits. Maybe the Lakers? Maybe the Pistons? Ultimately it just feels so inevitable that he’ll go to Orlando whenever it is that they decide to trade him
Orlando Magic Fan here Cole Anthony WCJR 1st this year and Denver's 1st Rd next year for Simons and Time Lord I'm not trading AB or Jett in this trade if I'm going to trade AB or Jett I'm going after Murray over Simons.
I do think the concern (maybe not the right word) for the Blazers is that Hawks are likely to be trading one if not two talented guards this summer. That wasn't really the point of this particular episode. But definitely a big part of the trade market this summer.
thats absolutly #1 priority 2nd thybulle 3rd grant 4th timelord (just to boost his value first with some game time). anf insurance for scoot.. maybe in 2 years time if scoot develops n improves. if anything, anf should have been traded while dame was in portland to try to keep him (isaac and den 2025 1st)
Only semi available player that Orlando has that moves the needle for me is Franz. If Franz isn’t available we need picks. Moving Simons and Brogdon opens the door for Portland to move Jerami Grant and picks to OKC for Lou Dort and Josh Giddey. Grant back at OKC is what they are missing now. They are totally willing to move on from Giddey and might be able to pry away Dort now.
Oh cmon let’s not be delusional that you’re getting franz. No chance in hell that’s happening, Franz is light years better than simons. All you’re getting is coke WCJ and picks
Franz is what I’d hope for. If he’s not available some one with size and picks will make it happen. I think Simons is horrible. If Orlando covets him they better move quick. He is a poor man’s Trey Young and a big shot maker when not asked to be first or second option.
Cole Anthony WCJ + 2 first rd picks is a fair deal *don’t treat Simons as a superstar nor an all star coz he ain’t getting the same package as those players Be realistic
Why would the Blazers have any interest in Cole Anthony, he just extended too?? You're not being realistic. Simons is a borderline All-Star. All-Stars traded for typically 3-5 1st rd picks. The trades discussed in the video seem alot more realistic than the one-sided one you presented tbh
@@gamechanger114 backup PG for Scoot and 13m per year is cheap. WCJ is a starting C in this league. Simons isn’t borderline all star that’s why he will not net 3-5 first round picks and has two years left on his deal. Magic can just wait for him to be a FA or next season when it’s an expiring.
Simons can make baskets… Sometimes… A team with defense and a true Pg can hide is lack of basic basketball knowledge and horrible defense. Yet packaging him in a deal might be the way to go about getting him out of here. I think the team willing to dangle picks first will land him
That and I feel his knowledge of what to do and when to do it lacks. He constantly gets beat down the floor. Every team has it out for him that when he misses beat him back for a lay up. His post defense is not there either. I’m hoping that Simons on a hood defensive team can hide his flaws.
I’ll say this. If I’m Orlando I don’t necessarily want Anfernee but you need something like Anfernee. His salary is just right to take the gamble he fits the need in Orlando and he still has his best years ahead of him in the right situation.
Even getting the Denver 1st in the deal isn’t a bad deal. Portland is looking for assets and cap room. Playoff teams are looking and want those 20 something/ late first round picks to fill a position of need. Plenty of teams out there wanting to be under the cap see those picks as gold. I don’t love the trade because as bad as Orlando needs a player like Simons Portland should be able to to get a future 2nd as well. So I see Simons, Williams for Issacs, Black a 1st and future 2nd. At least…
I for one am looking forward to the clusterfudge and boiling water building with the Guard jam fiasco. Simons is not movable without attaching a first round pick......which we don't currently have due to Chicago........SO SIT BACK......MAKE SOME POPCORN.......AND ENJOY THE INEPTITUDE OF CRONIN AND CO.

Appreciate you guys taking on these fake trades - it's super helpful in getting my head around how the league views our assets.
Another terrible deal by Philip lol, sorry Portland, Philip doesn't représent the magic fanbase
If we trade Grant, Brogdon, and Anfernee over this offseason I’ll cry real tears of joy.
As a Magic fan, I approve making this happen if we don’t have to deplete our future.
Your face will be dry these idiots won't do it.
Yeah just giving away Robert Williams sounds smart.
As much as I like Ant he’s not worth that much. A 1st rd and a 2nd rd is enough for him if the Blazers wanted more let them keep him and keep losing
Trade Simons to Miami and get Jokic and some picks.
I don't even need WCJ back in the trade but the final swap of WCJ for Timelord seems perfect to balance out the scales. I would be very satisfied if this was announced later on this summer. Well done Mike!
keep simons and brogdon and trade scoot and sharp.

Crossover episodes are fun (:
I think Simons defense got worse. He got handed Dame's offensive keys to the franchise, and became a magnet for opponent bunnies.
Simons for franz ?
@@Senormoola terrible return

Not happening
If Orlando wants to do anything next year they need to put more offense on the floor.
At least that offer you’re not just giving away Williams for nothing at his lowest point.
Portland isn't trading Simons, but Brogdon is available to the highest bidder.
Simons is available
We had a decade of two 6'3" guards in the backcourt that can't play defense, gotta try to build around the backcourt of Scoot and Sharpe.
Both are getting their walking papers
Can you send us both?
@santileon88 for Franz we can
Deal was trash. Simons doesnt have that kind of value. Wishful thinking.
Orlando counters with:
'25 Den pick + '26 Suns pick-swap + cap space.
So a 2nd rd pick for simmons u wish 😂😂
Portland would hang up the phone and block the number 😂😂
