Khan Academy You are as good as a Teacher, I even guess you're better than one! Juat single watch of your vid made me realise I can pass the test, even though I was bad at learning at first. Thank you so much
I literally love who every Khan academy is I have a math test tomorrow on all this kinds of stuff so I just watched a few of your videos on it and before I had no clue what I was doing but now I do literally thank you so much lol saving my butt before every math test lol
Just use the rule (a+b)(a-b) lets say you got 36x(2)-49y(2) take the square root of both numbers: (6x)^2-(7y)^2 Now apply the rule.. the a in this case is 6x and b is 7y (6x+7y)(6x-7y)
I would say replace the letters and numbers with smiley face and sad face. Basically you got 2 of each, instead of drawing two of each you just draw one and put a little 2 in the upper right corner it's a reminder or shorthand that you have two of those things
25a² - 16 + (5a-4)(a-2) (distributive property, or FOIL) 25a² - 16 + 5a² - 4a - 10a + 8 (adding same degree terms together) 30a² - 14a - 8 (factoring out the greatest common factor: 2, just so we can group it easier) 2(15a² - 7a - 4) (finding A and B, such as A * B = 15 * -4 (which is -60), and A + B = -7) A = -12, B = 5 (splitting up the middle term) 2(15a² + 5a - 12a - 4) (grouping - basically just a bunch of brackets) 2( (15a² + 5a) + (-12a - 4) ) (factoring out as much as we can from both of the terms) 2( 5a(3a + 1) - 4(3a + 1) ) (factoring out 3a + 1) 2(3a + 1)(5a - 4) I hope I did everything right.
my mind is Y squared why is the equation like... why does it take away subtracting? how did they manage to simplify the difference of squares in this subtraction equation through addition and multiplication? like why is the equation broken into brackets just because? and then ok you've done everything in there but now why are we mutliplying instead of subtracting to get the difference like 100 x 100 - 90 x 90 10000 - 8100 = 1900. 1900 is the difference. but you can skip that and just add and multiply? the base numbers? i just dont like understand quite "why" equations take place. i understand the rest of it. but like how did somebody conclude this? must be some kind of trick or rule or utter genius to figure out this type of way cuz its not like inversion. its not subtracting to adding. you're multiplying the sum. so it's weird. quite a few things i didnt completely learn because i didnt fully understand the logic of it. when i see it again it makes sense numerically but not logically. thank god its simplified. thats all im gonna say
thanks for helping my grades
same here...

This guy literally is amazing at grades from grade 1 to 12 so amazing!!!
Now all I need is to kidnap you and keep you as my teacher forever 😂I'm joking... But seriously thank youuuuuu for saving me from failing
Abi your so cute

Thank you I probably owe you my future 😂
After going through a week with my really confusing math teacher everything feels so much clearer now

new adventure time Distand Lands :Obsidian ,coming out on Thursday
can’t wait
what does this have to do with the video LOL
Yea lol
Thank you for this, I'm failing algebra and I have a final tomorrow, this helped so much

Bless you khan academy
congrats for hitting 7 mil subs
Perfectly explained as usual,
Wish I found you earlier. could be my treasure in my school days.
Great video, and how ironic that im learning this in class and have a test soon.
It's easier of you just do the square root of the number.
god bless you mr khan 🙏
Your videos are better than my teacher
SO HELPFUL! I was able to finish my Quiz because of you. Thank you so much! :3
You made this easy for me. Thanks
Video turned seven years old today! Happy Easter Sunday 💗🙌

Wow thank you so much now I can do my HW!!
TYSM!!!!
Thanks, sal
Thank you!
thank you random man
Thanks it's really easy ☺️👍
thank you so much i would have failed the test without this
I love you
Thanks for the help. It helped me alot
Thank you! So helpful and pretty direct
Sir could u pls do difficult ones like 25a² - 16 + (5a-4)(a-2)
This has been very helpful tho but the test papers are not like the activities
25a² - 16 + (5a-4)(a-2)
(distributive property, or FOIL)
25a² - 16 + 5a² - 4a - 10a + 8
(adding same degree terms together)
30a² - 14a - 8
(factoring out the greatest common factor: 2, just so we can group it easier)
2(15a² - 7a - 4)
(finding A and B, such as A * B = 15 * -4 (which is -60), and A + B = -7)
A = -12, B = 5
(splitting up the middle term)
2(15a² + 5a - 12a - 4)
(grouping - basically just a bunch of brackets)
2( (15a² + 5a) + (-12a - 4) )
(factoring out as much as we can from both of the terms)
2( 5a(3a + 1) - 4(3a + 1) )
(factoring out 3a + 1)
2(3a + 1)(5a - 4)
I hope I did everything right.
Im SooOOOOOOOOOO confused. Somebody Help
did ya get help bud?
Just root the number
do you know square roots? Cause if you do then your fine. Just take a little extra time and look over your problem

What if there are three terms?
Such as Ax^2 - x - B for example, and B isn't a perfect square
cheers
What if the variable has a number in front of it for example like 9x^2-1?
cheese is yummy

extremely helpful 😄😅
Does the Khan Academy also contains lessons to control your superpowers or it’s just Umbrella?
You can also factor x-3.
Where did he get 3 from?
kimberly jurado you have to find the lowest sum of 9 or the number youve been given
kimberly jurado lmfao 3 months later
I think your foil method is wrong
what website did they use or app to do this?
You can look for a good app
Just keep looking
Khan academy
But what if the number x squared is being added to not a square for example: X2+10 = N
can you do a video on Elliott wave theory
could you do the same with sums by using i? is that used somewhere?
my teacher took three 45 minute classes to convey this
what app is that tho?
I knew all this I just don't get why the sign changes n if it always does
yeah same bro did u find out? if so pls lemme know cuz im still stuck on this
I found out its because it has to represent the negative and 2 negatives equal a positive
وابييي م شي عرب هنييي؟
هذا وضع الي ياخذو رياضيات اول مره انجليزي ههههههههه يسولفو مع عمرهم بالكومينت

Well you please say something useful
Why plus and minus?
But at the starting how did u get 3
Because 3 multiplied by 3 gives us 9.
