DIY Crochet Beaded Necklace (Easy Free pattern!)

- Learn how to make an easy crochet beaded necklace or bracelet in this step by step tutorial for beginners and beyond!
You can easily make this beautiful piece of jewelry with just some embroidery thread to make a chain for the rope, a colorful seed bead assortment, and this DIY pattern!
I'm using one size of beads for the main necklace and a larger bead for the closure, but you can use really any shape and size of bead you want.
SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED //
▶︎ 76 small assorted beads (I used assorted teal glass seed beads size 6/0 and some small wooden beads about the same size): tidd.ly/3ICmMr5
▶︎ 1 larger bead for the closure (I grabbed a strand of large beads about 1/4" in diameter): tidd.ly/3ivWuw9
▶︎ 1 spool of DMC perle cotton embroidery floss in ECRU or color of your choice: amzn.to/3JIssBk
▶︎ needle that will fit through your beads
▶︎ 2.25mm crochet hook: amzn.to/3wRBW9R

You make a long enough necklace you don’t really need a bead closure, would think you could just tie it & slip it over your head and won’t come undone
Can you use bicones or any type of crystals?
How do you keep your knots so consistent? The more I try the worse I get. 😢
I’ve been crocheting for a long time- trust me, they didn’t used to be that even! I know it’s frustrating but keep practicing and they’ll get more even. Go slow, you’ll get better! It’s muscle memory, after enough practice your brain just gets it. 🩷
