As someone who immediate hits 'Skip' on any UA-cam ads, I just watched an eight minute commercial and loved it. We will be taking a flight with you on our next trip.
such a amazing video Jake is the best he took me on my flight with maverick and it changed my life i don't know what i would have done without that experience. So I saw Thank you maverick helicopters you have made me want to be a pilot. Jake your the best guy ever!!
I wanna become a pilot so bad…it’s all I’ve ever wanted since I was a kid…my medical certificate is still in review process so still waiting but one day I will be a pilot
Good question. Check out our site for open positions and details about the positions! We have more on the mainland, but we tend to keep our pilot application open. 😀😀
10,000ft volcano? Assuming a 10,000ft DA, can the EC130 carry full fuel and 5 passengers to the top of the volcano?? Or, do you have to return for fuel after the trip to the volcano? Beast mode activated. 😊
As a licensed helicopter pilot (lapsed) I'd be very wary flying over that type of terrain with a single engine. The tree cover looks extensive, and looked difficult to find a suitable emergency landing area. I've seen first hand what happens to a Jet Ranger making an emergency descent in autorotation into an extensive woodland by a highly experienced Chief Helicopter pilot and his son. Needless to say it didn't end well.
@@yembolit1988 Interesting, I could have been Mongolian, but the results would be identical regarding extensive overflying of woodland as per original post.
@@trottiscliffe Well this is what we signed up for. I also fly tours, but I do it over NYC. As you can imagine we don't have the best spots to land in an emergency but we do our best to always be in a favourable situation. But that's the deal with helicopters, we have to fly into places where not everyone would because with the machines we fly, we are allow to do it. The eurpean comment was referring to my feeling that if it was up to you, you would ban those operations because the risk is too high, but more regulations doesn't increase safety, training for pilots AND mechanics will increase it
A great video thanks…. But, trying not to be negative here, I look at the make shift, what looks like an overnight repair (3:10) to put armour plating on the tail boom. To try and make the aircraft survivable in a main rotor boom strike. Maybe I am completely wrong, if so I will remove this comment immediately
Great video! What an incredible type of helicopter job 🚁 very unique indeed to fly those beautiful EC-130 helicopters in such stunning sceneries! I eventually want to be a helicopter pilot for a medevac company, however to build hours before getting hired by a rescue company, I would probably come to a tour operator like you guys to build hours as you need 1,500-2,000 helicopters flight hours before any medevac company will hire you! Cannot wait to see what life brings I’d love to fly for y’all in Hawaii or Grand Canyon someday! 🏜️ 🌺

You got this! Keep up the good work. We're rooting for you 😀
@@Maverickhelicopters You mean *"rotating for you".
Best wishes
This is for sure on my bucket list
I really wish you the best, the ones that have it in their hearts to fly become the best pilots. I would love to hear your story.
Do you guys have more pilots that are from HI or the mainland? Be super cool to move out there to fly and build up hours.

With a full tank, we can make it up to the top of Haleakala and still have fuel for some sightseeing on the way back to our terminal 😀
@@Maverickhelicopters With the pilot and 5 passengers? Nice :D
Are you able to get breaks between flights to eat lunch and use the restroom?
Yes! We do have time to eat and do our business. We work with our schedules as best as we can 😀
Are your helicopters equipped with interior and exterior cameras for documenting the excursions?
We welcome all our passengers to bring compact camera equipment if they want to capture their flight! 😀😃
Ain't no way you having a 11 hours shift everyday 😮
Looks just like Reunion Island.
My wife and I flew in one of those helicopters

Yes, you’re wrong. That piece is present on all H-130 helicopters. Not at all an add-on patch.
@@jonathanknight89 Thank you ….hey..enjoy your videos
do you guys hire pilots from the military?
We do! Check out our webiste to learn about the qualifications to be a pilot with us!
