This is such a good video, and so simple! I think the kind of tape might be important, it looks like removable painter’s tape. I made a hole in a pot a while ago, and used the point of scissors to enlarge it, nice because it is tapered so it’s easy to circle it to make the size of hole needed. Enjoyed your helper, bring him on again! 😊🌿

I am glad l have come across to to your video! I have some old teapots that I want to put plants in but a bit apprehensive about doing this but I have a roll of frog tape so will give it a go! Fingers crossed for few big operations ahead of myself trying your trick!
