I really was blown away when I saw all that mold in the house now. I must admit though, that mold is very photogenic. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks again for that footage!!
This little place gives off such a homey, friendly atmosphere. Light and welcoming, almost like it was glad you came to visit. It shows a picture of an industrious family that led good lives. A nice video.
It always amazes me how you find and take us through these places that have been abandoned and frozen in time so sad, but man those freezers you did it to me again, I had to turn my head away on 2 of those, wow and yuk, thanks yet again James you can find some unbelievable places!
Honestly, it doesn't look that bad on the video, for me at least anyway. However in person, that smell is extremely rank! 😆 But I always just have to know! Thanks a lot for your comment Polly!!
What a sweet little bungalow! There’s some solid furniture pieces in there! Growing up with a Hunter and fisherman father, I grew up with deer heads, fish heads, and horns on the walls. I always hated them because I felt bad for them. For me, my favorite things in this place were the dream catcher in the kitchen area and all of the peacock feathers! Peacocks are my favorite bird! The feathers make fabulous cat toys too! I wish someone would come in and gather up all the clothes and linens and donate them. An animal shelter would LOVE to have all the sheets and towels and a woman’s shelter could use the clothes, especially the coats!
Another great explore James! It's kind of sad to know they left everything behind to go to waste. I really like the close up of the flower. Enjoy your week!
Hi James.... That was very interesting and sad with many beautiful items there, it was like "Dances with Wolves" which is one of my favorite movies, Great Explore ! 😄
at 3:43 you can see a camoflauge army jacket. this jacket is in the current Canadian forces CADPAT camo and it is iliegal for civilans to own so presumably the owner was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces judging from the other jackets the husband, judging from the location of the house, he was a reservist
It is such a shame isn’t it that everything is just left behind and then nature takes its calls slowly beautiful to see. Obviously there is a little bit of a sad story to it maybe why but thank you for sharing I do enjoy watching these
The names of the pictures of the girl and boy is Pinky and Blue Boy. I actually had these paintings in my room growing up in the 70s. I have seen these paintings frequently in abandoned homes shown on Utube.
Ya, I learned that after the first time I posted a video with them in it. This is an older video and looking back, I reslise that I too have seen them many times without even knowing until going through footage at a later date. Thank you very much for your comment!!
I get a feeling of sadness here. Feels like this person died alone. The mold factor in this house is a 8/10 for my mold scare. I truly hope you wore a mask. Nice drone shots at the beginning. Its great to see you have fun with your newish toy. Another great explore JH. Big Hugs. 😊😊 P.S. the room with the big ass spiderwebs need to get burned
This definitely was a crazy place with all the spiderwebs, the mold came after my visit fortunately. Glad you enjoyed it Kimmy and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Static Spaces thanks for sharing this video with me it was a really nice home i was very surprised it was Abandoned for so long and i wonder what happened to the owners they must of passed away and thanks again and God Bless.
Ya, it was still in pretty good condition at the time, except for the basement. The place certainly has gone downhill with the mold over the last two years though! Thanks a lot for your comment!!
Hi James! This was a very interesting place but also very sad to see so much left behind. Makes you wonder. That mood is horrendous. Definitely wouldn’t go in there in a t-shirt and shorts but luckily you weren’t in there long.
Was there something running in the background or am I hearing things? This house is so cool. I remember seeing this one before. But the mold-wow! It’s so untouched by vandals and graffiti. Very nice.
@@StaticSpaces it was the fridge! When you were in the kitchen I heard it-and it started making some really weird noises. That can’t be good! And who is paying the bill for the power?? All those freezers!!! That can’t be cheap. And the one that had all the rotten meat🤢🤢🤢. I’m gagging-and I couldn’t smell it!!!
Ya, I think that fridge was on its last legs, didn't sound good at all! I'd assume the surviving family is still paying the bills or maybe it's an auto pay account, I'm not too sure. I've got a pretty strong stomach for bad smells but even that rotting meat freezer was pretty close to my limit. 😆
Colleen Here...Yeah-Those Webs...I always do a Top-To-Bottom Vacuuming, when the Need Arises... U have to be Diligent, or it'll get away from U. Jaysus about the Basement Spiders...! I think that maybe the Basement Walls weren't Adequately Prepped on the Outside-But also that Sump-Pump wasn't Enclosed...That would've Caused a LOT of that Mold Problem, and a House needs Proper SEASONAL Circulation-So that Also was a Big Factor. Neglect has Sealed THIS House's Fate-Fer Sure!
Oh yes, it's amazing how quickly the cobwebs can collect if you aren't careful. But I think the basement likely flooded before my visit too, seeing the mold starting to appear on the basement walls. My guess is the sump pump has failed and it doesn't have a drain back valve, so during the spring melt the water just keeps rising. Thanks very much for your comment and don't forget to keep up on your spiderweb maintenance!! 😛
With all that meat in the freezer, they must have loved their meat or were a small-time butcher. I wouldn't have minded having a roast beef dinner at their house...10 years ago. It is sad to see someone's life and home abandoned with no one caring about their possessions.
Yes, I think he likely farmed animals on a small scale and also liked to hunt. I bet he could have cooked a very good roast. Thanks a lot for your comment!!
Merci James pour cette visite . Cette maison est tout un univers où l’on retrouve une influence italienne , le plateau Venicien , par exemple ! À bientôt ! 🧐
I did not realize the plates were from Venice at the time. That's what happens when you are too busy filming and don't have time to look at the details, thanks for the info. Merci beacoup Xavier pour votre commentaire!!
20:49 is (I think) a meat tenderizing device. You put the piece of meat on the plate and those metal spikes pierce it. There are handheld versions which are smaller. At 24:50 is a vacuum sealer. It sucks the air out of a plastic package and then seals it. If I had to guess, I'd say the people who lived here butchered/sold cows/pigs/etc to people who wanted to buy in large quantities. Some families will purchase a whole animal worth of meat to freeze for the year.
I think you are spot on with that info! I think they had a small scale livestock operation going on but I think they also enjoyed hunting too. Thanks very much for your comments!!
Omg, the mold. We found a huge place near Vaughan, where half of the roof collapsed. It had been abandoned for years. The entire inside was pure black with mold. The floors was so rotten that it was falling into the basement. It was crazy. It's too bad because the home was full of stuff.
Oh wow, sounds like it would have been a really cool house several years ago. I have come across quite a few similar houses and am always disappointed to see that! Thanks a lot for your comment!!
What a cozy, loving home this must have been. It reminds me of a grandparents home. Definitely they liked meat! I too, find taxidermied animals kind of creepy. Horns I'm OK with but heads and bodies creep me out, lol. I cannot believe that you actually opened those freezers in the shed - I was gagging at the thought of the smell. Terrific explore James!
I do find taxidermy creepy but at the same time, I kind of want one. You know I always have to open the fridges and freezers. Honestly it doesn't phase me that much but that meat was a little gross! Thanks a lot for the comment KMF!!
I'm not entirely sure why but could be auto pay too. I always find it a little creepy when places like this still have power. Thanks a lot for your comment Susan!!
Yes, I made a return visit to get another video of it in its current state. I thought I lost that footage, so I borrowed another explorers video for that part. Really appreciate your comment!!

I enjoyed this video!! Sad to see it just sitting there though. Looks like it has squatters!! Be careful with knives laying around if you are by yourself!! I have an idea for your cobweb problem😊. Send a friend in front of you to knock them down 😂 😂. Be safe!!!!
What a nice little house, it's too bad that it's just been left to the elements. There seems to be a lot of mouse dropping but very little dust so maybe someone was looking after it for a while.
The beds with the huge thick mink blanket and the sleeping bag are clearly where squatters have slept. You can tell by the cleaner condition of the bedding, the original comforter was removed and set aside, clothes are lying around like they were recently worn. You should try to be more aware of this kinda stuff- it could result in a dangerous situation if you run into squatters and they’re not cool with you being there. Be safe dude.
I definitely got the impression a squatter(s) may have been staying there but I could not confirm...usually the signs are more obvious. But given the location, I would be very surprised if they were, unless they had a car too. If they had been staying there, it likely wasn't during my visit since there were no signs of fresh foods, everything was long since expired. That's just my thought process anyway. I have been a butcher for 36 years and the knives and steel were very good quality. Leads me to believe that he was a butcher or just processed his own meat and wanted good tools to do it with. After seeing the meat saw, carcass hooks, and scales, and sausage stuffer I'd definitely say butcher.
Oh, a sausage stuffed too. I suspect he was a butcher/farmer as well. It looks as though he raised his own livestock and there was a fair bit of meat still in the freezers. Thank you very much for your comments!!

Being a long time vegan, this house made me angry, sick and sad, for all the poor animals that.. lost their lives, on that creepy, haunted horror house basically lol. I'm likely certain the owners passed prolly from cancer or weren't in good health if ate all that meat and also smoked. Sad, all those animals bodies, just rotting away, murdered for no reason even.. But yea, just a vegans mindset on this property. Not sure how anyone thinks a beautiful once living animals head, belongs on the wall, as art. Hate to b these people s enemy lol. But yea. Thanks for the tour, but I may need therapy, after this one. Lol. I can't unsee that now.. 😳😑🥵🤬🙈

I did enjoy this one James 😊
My dad was an avid hunter. We would have 3 to 4 of them. Deerhead mounted in our living room, my whole childhood.

Hunter....yes! Me thinks you are a little bit of an arachnaphobe..haha!!!
I don't like spiders but I wouldn't go as far as to call it arachnophobia. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Thanks a lot for watching!!
So I think you found The Canadian Chain Saw Massacre House..... ok..ok, the Murder Shed Massacre.....
🍖🪝🥩
😵
Lol well I think he was just a butcher but I can understand why you might think that. Thanks a lot for your comment!!
They probably sold what he butchered. People around where I live do that🦬🦌🐄🐖
I think you are absolutely right, he probably had a small butcher shop operating from the property. Thanks a lot for your comments Sharon!!
