You're basically a low energy low ambition pothead trying to make sense of quality cartoon programming from an era when men were men and women were women. Wrap that around your next mind trip.
There's an episode I'm looking for and can't find anywhere but it features The Mask of Vulcan and I think a fireball. From memory it starts off with Daedalus constructing the mask and testing it's powers. It may be episode 83...?
Notwen exists only within the dark recesses of Newton's mind; a manifestation of longstanding and profound insecurities which entirely belie the "I'm Glad" song the episode opened with. My hunch is that Hercules represents a father-figure which Newton lacked in his early years, and that Daedalus may in fact be Newton's real father. Also within Newton's unconscious is an intense yearning for the affections of Helena, and deep hatred for Hercules as the sexual possessor of Helena.
Sexuality isn't in the minds of 10 year olds who watched the series, and the damsel in distress in love with the larger than life character of Herc is an accurate representation of the time the cartoon came out (of course now women are married to gov't handouts - a different story.) Herc simply had tons of pussy up on the mountain. Helena was one of thousands of girls he turned down. I would know, I was herc in my younger years and turned down 100's of sweet girls like Helena.
Still? no. Back then, yes. A 1% thing. All fake undeserved validation that made the sanest women insane. Something one must live through it to understand. Don't try the shame tactics though darling, we old school boys see right through the bullshit.
Whatever, Caillou is gay, along with 99% of TV today. My kids under 10 love this shit. Good clean values with an alpha male savior and a feminine chick who adores him. I just explain to them Newton is like a 7 year old boy who gets scared. xD
At 43 years old, for some reason I still remember that song and this episode like it was yesterday..
You're just a youngin' Jay. Same story here - time flies.
earworm! like the Slinky song.
Myyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!! I've didn't know that Newton can sang that good.
Greatest episode ever.
Awww Newton! Who could ever replace you, replace you?
Newton's nightmare may have resulted in his secretly feeling he wasn't a good assistant to Hercules.
Too bad they never explored that possibility.
I wish they still play this on tv 📺
For some reason this was always my favorite episode! Thanks for the upload!!
+Ray Klassen
This episode was the one I was looking for because I always remembered it-particularly the line,"Notwen is Newton spelled backwards."
+Richard Ranke I always loved word play!!!
My kids sing the song at the beginning of this episode. (both are under 10.)
No matter how much Newton goofs up Hercules would not replace Newton with someone else.
I believe it's episode #113: Friend or Foe of Centaur.
Notwen is just pure evil baby.
Herculean they got part of your message ctrs off. I did get iota io back by cowbelll in gimme no 9
