Reading this, I actually think it would’ve been interesting if they had left it more ambiguous as to which turtle it was that survived. Like have him use all their weapons and such, but just hint at what happened, like his family’s deaths, with only small hints as to which turtle had survived.

Playing the old tmnt games for the sega and super nintendo with my friends i always used mikey plus i love how he uses nunchucks as weapons always reminded me of bruce lee using them like boss. And even today when i play newest tmnt game on the Xbox gamepass called shredders revenge i mainly play as mikey since he has the quickest combos and most speed for movement. The DLC comes out in just a few days on 31st of Aug.

It's Canon that that is what happened with the ooze, that's the literal thing that happened and the original comics It was the same truck that blinded Matt turning him into Daredevil. The name of the foot clan is a parody of the hand which is the group of ninjas from marvel comics that Daredevil fights, the whole idea of the Ninja turtles was that it was supposed to parody the overly serious dark edgy comics like Daredevil

Mikey really is the best out of all of them skill/feats wise. His goofiness and childlike antics is what gets him overlooked and can hold him back at times.
I'm really glad, yet a little upset that this is a direct continuation of the Eastman and Laird comics from the 80s. It's really sad to see what became of the turtles. But im at least happy we got to see a proper conclusion to their universe. I can't wait for the video game to come out about the story
I’d love to see an animated film adaptation of this comic, or maybe a short series jumping back and forth through time showing Mikey fighting the foot clan and training his new students, while also showing how his brothers died and him coming to terms with what happened.
Could u imagine if Mikey died and Leo survived? Like he makes a joke one last time before dying. And Leonardo becomes the most badass turtle to survive. I mean, a leader losing all his brothers and and being the last would make him a beast.

Never realized I was a comic fan without reading any of the comics. I continue to learn more than I could ask for by simply supporting the other fans with similar mentality. I love learning of what has already been written with details. Continue teaching. I'm sure I'm not the only student here
Read this when it first came out and you don’t know that it’s Mikey until the last issue of the series. You just know one of the turtles/splinter is going to die each issue. You just don’t know who it’s going to be. The story line was the craziest and best one I’ve ever read. Amazing!!!
Michelangelo is actually considered to be the most talented and skillful of the brothers. The only thing that kept him from reaching his full potential was his goofy and humorous personality. In the last ronin when he faces the reality of losing his family we see just what little bro Mikey is capable of
