Yorkshire Tea is grown in more than 20 different places across Africa and India, then imported to Harrogate and blended Cornish tea is made in Cornwall
A beautiful location for a pub. You don't mention how much Clarkson had to go through to get the permits to update the building to house his pub and restaurant. His permits were initially denied by the local council, and it was because of Clarkson's travails and his popularity that new laws were passed making the process of converting old building into new businesses much more streamlined. Another fact that may have been neglected is that The Farmer's Dog has only been open for business since August of 2024, about a month before you shot this video. Kudos on inviting Geoff Buys Cars to help you sample the food and drink.
The video was quality. Really good fun, very entertaining and informative Lee and Geoff. Geoff said on one of his vlogs you had done an outstanding job editing Lee. I totally agree, great work both of you. Thankyou👍 😊❤

One of your best vlogs Loved it, always like you n Geoff out n about. Pie crust looked awesome, Treacle sponge for me No custard. Bacon and Sausage cob with no sauces so you can taste the real food, Just how I like it.
Yorkshire Tea is blended in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, but the tea leaves are grown in more than 20 different places across Africa and India. Tregothnan Tea is grown in Cornwall on the banks of the river Fal near Truro. It is the only tea grown in England and is a delicious and refreshing drink free of the bitter after taste of tanine so common in other teas. The climate of Cornwall is very similar to the climate in Darjeeling, India.
Yet another well presented and entertaining vlog. Nice to see Geoff again talking about cars and food rather than the other things he sometimes mentions.

For anyone who think's farming, and especially Clarkson's farming enterprise, is an easy way to success and riches, you will have a particularly rude awakening. Farming is a capital-intensive and labor-intensive business requiring the farmer to go into debt with a bank to finance the preparation and planting of a crop, then sink more money into the growing period, all the while being at the mercy of the climate, with any number of weather disturbances bringing a chance of the crop being damaged to the degree of possible total loss!. The farmer has to take out and pay for crop insurance so that the farming enterprise is not wiped out by unpredictable events. All the while, the farmer must sink even more capital in the purchase and maintenance of the various machinery used to work the soil plus the irrigation equipment needed to water the crop. Automation is making inroads to ease some of the physical toll, but there are still plenty of long hours involved. And once the harvest is in, the whole cycle starts over.
When JC took over the running of the farm (his previous farm manager retired) he invested heavily. Too heavily, literally in the case of his Lambourghini tractor. ("Power! Speed! Oh bu**er, it won't fit in the barn or pathways"). Despite the best efforts of Kaleb, Gerald and Cheerful Charlie, he made an annual profit of £144. That's an established farm business. I saw on TV a farmer with £94k of crops which had to be binned, because his EU customers 14:30 were fed up with the paperwork and other difficulties associated with buying from post Brexit Britain. Everything seems stacked against our farmers

Problem with British Produce is that Supermarkets would just hike the Price. Now if we had Butchers, Fruit and Veg shops on the Highstreets pushing British Only Produce at a proper price. The Farmers might have a chance and then we would get Quality Produce. Only reason for not selling British is the Supermarkets buy cheap to max profits.
