@@margeryredd thanks for the reply. Yes she was same here in the UK back then. We absolutely loved her here. The weekends when we decided not to go travelling to illegal raves (90-92) me and my mates would descend on the local night clubs and her songs were always being played by the dj. Funny thing is her tunes still sound good now dont they. 🏴🤝🇺🇲
@@baggs739 YES!!! I love that you made a comment because I don't often watch these videos... But your comment made me watch again. What a fun time in my life!!! Lots of clubbing! No illegal raves for me though. LOL 😁❤️
@@margeryredd thankyou my friend. My Spotify play list is full of songs like these. Takes me right back to being an 19 year old (91) and really loving life. The illegal raves in the UK were brilliant but a nice local night club was also a good night out. Nowadays its just full of idiots who take steroids and want to fight each other. It's a shame really because during the early 90s apart from football hooligans which I will admit I was part of there wasn't much violence in and around the towns. These days it's a horrible place to venture out to. God only knows what's happened to people's mentalities. Anyway seem as we can't get our hands on a time machine just keep listening to all these tracks and let them take you back. Lol. 🏴🤝🇺🇲
Robin Harris said NO VOGUING !!!! and you queens were voguing behind my back LOLOLOL and we were ! you couldn't tell us a thing we thought we were the shit on this show !!!
13:30 the Soul Train dance line!!! (This was actually a more fun day of taping. The first few episodes they didn't let us have as much freedom and fun. Things loosened up as we filmed.)
Gosh I missed this by just a few years. By the time I was of age it became Club 1148 and I spent so much time there.
Lol That's me taking us into the commercial. Best days of my life.
What time?? I was there!! Definitely fun times! ;)
I'm center screen 10:24
I'm also at 17:25 black jacket and black bolero hat ...
Great to see the Americans embracing Cathy way back then. Looks like she had some impact on our brothers and sisters black and white over the pond.
Oh yeah! We loved Cathy!!! She was definitely a huge part of my twenties!! 😁👍🏻
