I'm not really sure what your asking...If you're looking for a sampling distribution, you'd use the Central Limit Theorem. I have a video covering sampling distributions. (I can't include the link in this comment). If you don't have boundaries, you can't really calculate probabilities, but you can calculate the mean and standard error of the mean and determine the shape of the graph based on the original population.
Thank you for this video! So easy to understand. In problem B, the upper boundary wouldn't be 200 because the problem states less than 200. The upper boundary would be 199 because that's the greatest number possible while being less than 200. X is less than or equal to 199.
In 5 minutes and 15 seconds you saved the first half of my semester! Thank you!
listen i understand that you made this like years ago, and i just need you to know you have helped tremendously!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. OMG. Why can't everybody else teach like this? 2 hours looking at a book ... 3 minutes with this video.
You are not aware of how amazingly helpful you are. SIMPLE. CONCISE. CLEAR. I am literally in love with you.
YOURE AMAZING THANK YOU :D
- Dying stats student
You are the sole reason I got through statistics
Glad they have internet up in heaven! Thank you so much!
haha, that may be the best comment ever :)
my teacher is awful. You are the only thing that will get me through my stat classes this summer. Thank you so much for this!
Thank you for doing this on the older software version, I didn't know I could just use a comma :)
Thank you, Thank you! I’ve found 2 of your videos and they were both perfect for what I was needing!
i know you made this a long time ago but THANK YOU. I always come to you channel for help.
thank you so very much for this video, this stuff has been so frustrating to try to learn with no professor. thank you thank you thank you
thank you very much 100% better than my teacher
This video, saved me a whole section for a statics class. :,)
Now i have more time to study everything else
Kudos for using Mega Man X as an example, and for showing me how to use the normal probability function on a TI-84. Cheers. ^_^
YOU ARE AWESOMELY BETTER THAN HLS!!!! THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE!
This video is so good! Thank you so much for making it.
you have to know, Dr. Godblod, that you have helped so many students and you are so appreciated!!! QUEEEEEEN
Aw :) Thanks!
YOU SAVED ME SO MUCH STRESS THANK YOU
Really appreciate this for my Descriptive Statistics class!
Hallelujah!!! This was SO VERY HELPFUL!!
If they give you the variance, use the square root of the variance. Since standard deviation = squareroot(variance).
This video is great!

Great Job
Thank you so much, you saved me !
how would i find the probability if the question asks "at least"
Not if you put in the mean and standard deviation as the third and forth values.
Thanks for that?!! Helped me a lot
Life saver!
Thank you!! You're a life saver!
This video was very helpful. Thanks:)
what about greater than or equal to
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
This video saved my life.
when do you know when to calculate the z score in these types of questions?
thank you. the 'z' thing was not making any sense to me. I just pay attention to probability of x
Excellent video!
This is incredibly helpful, thank you!!!!
You are a LIFESAVER!!!
You are AWESOME!!!! Thnak you
so with that probability do you multiply by 100 to get the percentage?
Thanks, you saved my grade!
You had me at Megaman X
thank you so much, you make it so easy
How do you find the normalcdf button on the ti-30xs calculator?
Thank you! this really helped.
You're like an angel.
I'm following the steps using my TI84, but in example c., I get an answer of (-0.6716). not sure why.
exam tomorrow
thank you so much
How do you get the same answer on an Excel spreadsheet

What if they ask you for the variance instead of the standard deviation?
you are amazing thank you
what if the problem says " If 144 women are randomly selected" how do i put that in the calculator. please help
how to solve when a standard deviation is not given.?
OMG YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER thankkk youuuuu
what do I do if x shows up as a decimal? .45 , mean is 100 and Stdv is 15
Thank you sooo much!!
What will be the probability exactly at 200
why "ERR:SYNTAX" occurs when i use insert negative numbers?? plz help!
dont you have to convert the x to z and then do that?
Thaaaaaank You, ma'am!
Thanks the heaven!
mahvelously simple!
THANK U SO MUCH
thank you
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
What if its greater than or equal to
oh and thank you
What if it is already a standard normal random variable? Can we still find that using TI-84?
You're welcome :)
yoooooouuuu are awsome!
do you say "pogchamp"
I owe you a drink....
I could beat megaman x in 1 and a half hours
with mean of 23 and standard deviation of 3.5 the probability of randomly picking 10 students with average of less than 24 years old.
