Sort of like a Standtastic stand which I’ve been gigging with the same one since the late 80’s. Best keyboard stand ever.

I bought a 2-level BlackPantherSystem stand ("Cedro S"). Amazing quality!
They are not cheap. But when you feel the weight of the metal, you realize that it's not that expensive for the quality materials they used. Beautiful design. And the built-in electrical sockets help to get my cable-soup under control. I bought the 2-level model because I thought 3 levels would be too bulky for my small room. But it's a real space-saver, as the 2 levels don't even look as bulky as my old 1-level stand.
Only 1 shortcoming. My synths slide like crazy on the upper level. They should have put some rubber on those smooth metal support bars. But otherwise, absolutely love this stand as it far exceeds my expectations.
I’ve got the 3 tier stand coming - I might look for some rubber stick on tabs to stop keyboards slipping maybe?
Yes. That is what I did, and it helps against slipping. Would have been easier though if they at least included some rubber strips.

It’s a Bachmann socket strip included. Nice. I use the modular Step System from Bachmann and they are really cool. I have 3m of these modular socket strips, powering all my gear. 😀
And ... funny enough ... the Swiss Tools hex wrench are exactly the same like mine. 😂

Go back and look at some of those episodes!I was shocked to notice most of the "controls"were just diff colored blinking lights! Not very fuctional.😮they looked fancy but that was about it!
Gotta check that Black Panther site. I want to get some stands just like the one in the video that the drum machines are on- that width, only about half the height as the one in the video, to put on a tabletop. Probably need 2-3 of them - if they exist at all...

Hi Dr MIx, its is great to see your synth setup, but I wondered how you connect them all, what mixer do you use? Can you advise on a simple mixer for a keyboard player with multiple synths and keyboards, some mono sources but many stereo.

Is that a OB on a one tube jaspers? I promise you it will drop over time. Inhave a few jaspers and my polysix did a drop on a single tube... it just turned backwards and luckely rested on something so it didn t fall...

I just ordered, as my own Christmas gift, a Moog Grandmother, I have almost no musical skills, I just think it's cool, and I'm going to have a ton of fun playing with it....
My wife uses my Aluminium Quicklok 3 tier keyboard stand as a tomato tressel year on year. I retired in 1997, so it has stood the test of time. It has zero corrosion, zero plastic failure, zero thread stripping. It endures daily watering and annual de-planting. Blessed be the keyboard stand. $0.02
I think that recently-vacated spot on your drum machine rack deserves a CR-78. Or maybe a DMX?

The Rhodes sounds so lovely, you can jam for hours, days, weeks, never boring like some synths may get over time..

A Studio that's too free of wires aint bein used! When you're puttin in work in the trenches, gear and people are always coming in and out. Configurations get changed almost daily. A clean desk is the sign of a cluttered mind!

@@housebandthexenos2569 Thank you for your response - however when balance is key and not to mention Feng Shui - there needs to be some sort of alignment. The same reason you like beautiful synths.
@@bobcatt2294 Balance and Feng Shui key? Alignment? What are you a Kundalini Yoga master? As far as beautiful synths, I like synths that sound beautiful. I don't like beautiful sounding synths stuffed in a closet not being able to be hooked up when the mood strikes because cables are wrapped with no slack.
I've been using this stuff for over 30 years and have multiple rooms with systems so complex most people's heads would spin. I have to be able to get to everything, and change it around for the task at hand. I'm thinking music and end results, I'm not worried about aesthetics. A little disorder not only doesnt get in my way, it helps me. It's like working on a classic car where you can see and get to everything.

I just heard the other day that if you tell people what you want to do with your life that it wont happen because you would jinx it so people end up keeping their life ambition a secret. You are the shining example of that being un-true! I think if you let people know what you want to achieve and do with your life, that it allows others to help you achieve these goals, and give them a way to contribute to your happiness. I think making others happy is a way to make one feel useful and a part of the making a world a better place. I think Black Panther system cash in their soul to be a part of your happiness and wanted to also be a huge part of this heavens on earth of music festivities. Because of the pandemics, I have literally nothing but love to give, so it makes me really happy that black panther system gave you that, plus the hat. That hat was a very personal touch. I really love that they did that!

To me , the best keyboard(synth) stand that I have purchased, is the K&M. Which looks very similar to the black panther system Sturdy, durable and well built. Not to mention , your legs always have the same space available to move around. And you can stack a few keys on top of each other and controllers, etc. Anyways, Merry Christmas Claudio!! Hi Claudio, I hace seen this great video and the installation of both black panther keyboardstands. They are in a way very similar with a keyboard stand I use of the brand König & Meyer.
When I saw you put the RC-505 on a table, placed on a X-stand with wooden blocks under. And that's a little sad to see, because I know a very good solution for this.
K&M have a great Universal holder in their collection that you can mount on the black panther stand. You can find it on this link:

I'm sure it wil be much better to put the RC-505 on (or any other equipment) and need no extra mounting onderneed on the floor.

Anyway, I have an Ultimate (I think) stand that's super stable, super-adjustable, and multi-tier, and it was way easier to assemble than that. Many years old and not a hint of rust, threads still perfect, etc.
Your Rhodes sounds great.
Came in for synth porn, left ASAP because of blind repeating of unscientific, antifreedom propaganda. I've heard YT does censor unconvinient topics but to suck up to YT's (Alphabet Inc.) nondemoctratic, corporate agenda is too much, especially for a music related channel. Unless I didn't see the sarcasm? ;)
This system is really good. I''ve requested a quote for a 3 tiers stand + few extra (speaker and laptop holder) 😱 god if they're expensive, plus shipment and import taxes to UK, makes this a very costly almost prohibited purchase. lucky you got them for free

Would you or anyone know if it could handle a Korg Kronos 2 88 on the bottom tier and a Yamaha Montage 8 on the 2nd tier? I’m a bit concerned it all might come crashing down😰😱 on the third tier I’m gonna put my Hammond XK1C (which is very light)

shoot video on a video camera , but not on a photo device. Otherwise disgusting focusing. Here you show your synthesizers, but only your hand is visible. You can shoot video with a photo camera only for static objects, where there is no change in the distance to the object. Dynamic scenes should only be shot with a video camera with a quick change of focus of the lens.

Fascinating! I used to play a Roland. RD300 and could balance my vintage Korg M1ex (wide like your Prophet and heavy) on top. Now I have a RD300NX and cannot figure out what kind of stand would hold that Korg above it. I doubt I can afford this setup but it is absolutely beautiful, as is your studio! Glad I found you.

Awesome! I'm not a keyboarder but was searching for inspiration how to "place" some equipment in my homestudio ... a midi keyboard, groovebox, effects, maybe screen and computer keyboard. Hey @Doctor Mix, I just finished setting up my new studio in LA and I was wondering if you ran into a similar problem I am having with smart devices causing noise in your speakers. Whenever I have my LED light system on, it causes a high pitched buzz in my speakers.

The configuration with all keyboards around you is very cool but you have to be careful when you turn your chair quickly.... if you hit a key with the chair, that can be catastrophic :)
