I never thought id live to see they day you made another video.
Andy Ruiz you called?
You have amazing video quality dude its like you've been doing this every week for years post more man I love your videos!
Someone went pro... haha
Badass video editing, cameras, quality.. I love it.. Guitar is really nice, with all natural finish, and black hardware :D keep it up!
The most beautiful sounding electric baritone I've ever listened to.
Is the music gone for everybody or is it just me?
Same here. I think he used copyrighted music on it before???
Yes, unfortunately I had to rip the music out of the video in order to keep it up. Sorry folks!
+Mills Custom Guitars that really sucks man
I was surprised when this video popped up in my feed but it's amazing!
Really cool to see you're still working on guitars.
Awesome baritone dude! Sounds and looks great! Quick question. Where do you get your headstock decals from? I need a good place to get my headstock decals because my old source shut down.
Real amazing video and guitar. I love your videos. Also just curious, did the music get copyright claimed/copyright striked?
Oh sweet you're back! Your wetsanding video helped me while I was builduing my own tele :)
This guitar is so god damn sexy! What's the price range on it? I want a 6 string baritone soooo bad. I've been using 7s for a few years. I play in drop a and g# mostly but I always seem to go back to 6 so a baritone would be great for me plus I prefer the longer scales. I own a 27" 7/string. I'm on a well... Very tight budget. Any cheaper baritones around worth checking? Rondo music seems to be the only place I can find one but esp just released a viper 200b 2016 model for about $350
Billy Turk squire jazzmaster baritone is freaking badass dude
Glad to see you didn't sell all your gear man. I remember our conversations about all that might have happened, but I see that maybe you can start making a career out of UA-cam if you let yourself. Oh, I still owe you some lyrics and vox too lol if and when that will ever happen. But, I still owe you nonetheless. Keep making videos, keep playing guitar, keep making music, eventually everything will fall closer and tighter into place
I have a guitar neck that's painted black, how could I get a worn finish where the paint is worn off and the wood is showing, I would do it the authentic way, but I don't want to spend 10+ years playing when I'm probably gonna replace the neck soon anyways.
That's a SICK axe my man. Beautiful work.
Your videos are amazing. I've watched them all at least 20 times each.
What was the estimated cost of this build? Thanks in advance!
I think all of the parts came in just under $1000
Man, this guitar is sick as fuck, wanna have one definetely. One question: what tuning you used on clean song?
Where do you buy the body ? I like this ,please man ,and i love your videos ,ALL!
do you have any videos where you make your own neck or body, or do you mostly do partsocasters?
Where did you buy the all black toggle switch used in this video?
Was the guitar inspired by Jim root haha? Jazzmaster/Jaguar Body, EMG 81/60, Locking Tuners, etc... Really cool build!
Even the single volume knob haha.
You're not dead! Always love a good baritone.
He'll yeah he is back! Super awesome video
Would taking a standard guitar, getting it setup with low gauge strings, and tuning down to drop A# be a good idea or nah?
ReznovRulz You could do that, lots of professional players do that, and some swear by it. I've tried it, and even with a high end guitar and a proper setup, I find the sound to be very mushy and loose, not clear and tight. Some people like that de-tuned sound, lots of bands that use standard scale guitars in low tunings go for that sound, like BLS, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, etc. and if that's what you're after, then go for it! However, I like low tunings for the extra range, not necessarily the low chuggy metal stuff. Enter the baritone guitar. The longer neck allows you to get that low tuning without it sounding muddy, it remains crystal clear and tight sounding like a regular tuned guitar, but with an extra few frets of range on the low end. So if you like the sound of bands like Staind, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, etc, you may want to consider a baritone guitar. Playability also may play a factor. If you have small hands, a baritone guitar might be a bit tough for you on the lower frets as they're spaced farther apart than a standard guitar. String tension and thickness also comes into play. If you don't like the feel and flexibility of heavy gauge strings, you can achieve lower tunings with lighter gauge strings on a baritone guitar. So there's a lot to think about, but if you ever decide you want a baritone guitar, send me a message on my Facebook page, I'd be happy to make you one!
ReznovRulz yeah man. A 12-62 set will get you there easily.
A standard scale length guitar (25.5 inches) can do Drop A# just fine. I would recommend D'addario's 13-62 set, or their 12-60 set if you want a slightly lighter feel.
Can someone tell me what is a bariotne guitar? I never understood
amazing,guitar,congratulations>..........>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Nice job dude! How much did the body and neck cost?
what product did you use for the finish ? its linseed oil?

What kind of strings and tunning did you use?
keep making videos of custom builds!! very interesting and incredibly helpful!!
we have been waiting...
so sick
what tuning was this? oohhh ok i get it. beadf#b
IF only we can all work so fast... well done
Beautiful guitar and great vid. What did you use for your logo? Not waterslide from what I could tell... decal? How many coats of clear did it take to level out? Is it a really thin decal? Sorry for all the questions. I'm just looking for an easier alternative to waterslide.
+Guitar Whores I used a vinyl decal, I think it was like 5mil thick. It took quite a bit of clear to level it, I think I hit it with about 5 really wet coats. Waterslides are easier to work with I think, but you need a sealer on the wood to apply them where as these decals can be put right onto the raw wood, so it saves you a little time there. The only reason I stick with the vinyl decals is because I own a vinyl cutter so getting different colors and sizes is very easy and cheap for me to do. But if I had means of printing my own waterslides, I'd certainly be doing that instead. They're thinner and better resolution.
shelbyfanss Thanks for the reply. Sadly there is no easy magic fix.
OMG ANOTHER VIDEO!!!!!! THANX!!!
It was a long wait....but worth it, super cool that you guys are back with that kick-ass custom guitars work. Is pretty enjoyable to me every time i see one of your videos. keep working on that. Thumbs up

Loving the guitar. it has a very nice tone. Very nice song at the end too

Shielding?
So awesome
Please keep making videos man. They're great.
This is the perfect jazz metal hybrid guitar.
god damn man great job! what camera did you use to record all the footage and how did you record the guitar parts?
Matt Zacharis I used a Nikon D5200 DSLR and I recorded everything in Garageband believe it or not.
ok thanks man ;)
If you have an electric (Jackson 7 String) it is 24 fret. Can it be put in Baritone tuning or does it have to be a certain neck and body?
+Davis Waters Nope. Having a neck with a longer scale length is preferable for low tunings as they generally do handle them better, but there's nothing preventing you from tuning low on any guitar if the string gauge is heavy enough.
Daniel Lomax so it matters about string gauge not neck length
Davis Waters String gauge is what really matters. But it's also true that when heavier strings are used on shorter scales, the strings are going to sound a lot duller on the lower strings at the higher frets in particular. Which is why longer scales do lower tunings better.
+Daniel Lomax thanks bro
It's amazing to see a guitar's birth
Thats a beautiful guitar man. Really glad to see your still at it! :D
siiickkkk
Anyone notice he stopped drinking monster, got a better computer, and got a hair cut?
Haha, I got new everything, I had the same haircut in the last couple of video's, and I stopped drinking Monster because my dentist told me to. That stuff is bad for the enamel on your teeth folks, don't drink it. hahaha
shelbyfanss And it messes with your heart as well if you drink too much. That's why I had to quit.
Anyone know what tuning this is? It's beautiful.
+vladvuceta for the pretty parts at 6:30?
+vladvuceta The clean part was in B standard, the heavy part was in drop A.
Sweet looking build!
dam those EMG's sound awesome, to me they make the guitar. nice job.
Ya I was suprised
What is the song that's playing at 3:50? That is a sick riff
Devour by shinedown
Nick Jezyk actually its "so you're afraid" by tremonti
Hey dude what's the opening song? Bad ass guitar
Jeff Cantrell It's a snippet from an original song of mine.
nice man! Glad to hear some new original metal out here
Jeff Cantrell Thanks! Yeah, I'll probably post the full song in another video some time. I'm not sure when though, it's in drop A on a baritone, so unless I do another video of a baritone or a 7 string or something, I probably wont get a chance to use it.
Songs names? awsome video btw.
sukitta2 The intro is original, the second song is So You're Afraid by Tremonti, the third song is Devour by Shinedown, and the rest is all original songs as well.
shelbyfanss What a quick response.. O.o thanks dude!
It's a jim roots guitar inspired
I figured.
4:02 scared me lol
