The bag tho… where do I get the bag!!!!
@@taay333yes I need to know as well
Where‘s the bag from??🥺🥺
@themoranfamily where is the bag from?
i think it’s the Soft Weekender Bag - A New Day from target
So refreshing to watch a video that's not full of loads of trendy but pointless stuff. Thanks!
Im having my first and this is refreshing to see, so many videos have like three bags each. I will definitely be asking ahead of time what my hospital provides so I don't have to pack.
I also have very short hair and basically 0 skincare routine so it's nice to see a bag not stuffed with curlers and make up lol
Lol I definitely packed for a week lol 😂😂.. which I kinda ended up needing but more than I expected was offered after I was told they won't provide much
@@anneshapuran5245this!! And they will charge you for some of the stuff they ”provide”.
You should do a hospital tour and know who’s going to be delivering your baby. Along with writing a birth plan and providing copies to the team that’s doing the delivery. Very essential things that’s crucial
I love staying in the hospital gowns while in hospital because you bleed a lot sometimes and it leaks. Then i dont have to wash out those stains later. My hack for being comfy is asking for 2 gowns and wearing one robe style, then wearing another on the front. Then i have full converage and the nurse can still access my belly, etc. 🤗
I love that! Thank you for sharing your tip here 🩷
Also did you bring extra pillows?
Best minimalist perfect straight to point video
100% for keeping on the hospital gown so convenient and also they have so many you can just grab a new one every time you shower or need a change ! And so big and comfy lol😂
Exactly! 😊
I can’t stand hospital gowns because every time I would use the bathroom my butt would be sticking out. Not ideal especially if you have guests over
@@Jessicasandstreetsniffleask them for another gown that you can wear the other way around. That way you’re covered back and front. ❤
Listen, having children is the best thing in this life. My life makes sense with my baby
Yes , I love how minimal it is! I’m about to give birth to baby #3 and this is what my hospital bag looks like. I am bringing a pillow & a blanket for my husband though, the previous times he says he was too cold and wish he had his own pillow!
I’m on baby #5 also and I learned not to pack all the unnecessary items I will be going very minimal this time.
Where is the bag from?? 😍 I need it!!!
Same!!!
Wow in the UK youre lucky if they give you a small side table for your bag. I had an emergency c section last year and the recovery ward was filthy and they expect you to just have all your bags on the floor next to your bed. No help at all getting anything off the floor, no where to put dirty baby nappies and certainly no toiletries. It was horrendous and a shock at how badly we were all treated in the recovery ward. Im about to have my second baby next week, this time im even thinking we might have to take our own side table it was that bad. Your hospital sounds so much better ❤
What bag is that
I honestly used everything at the hospital. I took my hospital bag and I had packed so much and I only opened it twice
Once to get my toothbrush and toothpaste shampoo
And the second to pack up my snack I sent my husband to go buy 😂
But to be honest I had an unexpected C-section so I did not want to be getting up to get stuff from my bag. My first shower hurt so bad too.
Next baby for sure I’ll come back to this video for reference
I didn't even feel hungry after... i think the anesthesia had something to do with that(had 2 c sections)... I definitely felt foolish with a big ole rolling bag
I had an emergency c section and the nurses wouldn't even help me shower and the toilets didn't have any handles or anyway of getting up and down from them, it was agony and felt like we were all being tortured. Its not easy in recovery at all ❤
Thanks ❤️ coz the list just keep getting longer when I checked the Internet.
Love this! I see some people packing suitcases like they going on a week vacation
Thank you dearly. Am having my first baby next month I had no clue what to pack. Literally bought a huge suitcase and things I don't even need from watching other videos. This is really helpful. Thank you so much now I can start packing 😊
If you wanted to be even more of a minimalist you can also skip the toiletries. They usually give you a tooth brush, chap stick, body wash, shampoo, and a face soup bar. I’ve been in a few different hospitals and that’s usually what I get. I’d make sure to bring lotion, conditioner, floss, hairbrush, and hair tie.
Thank you for keeping it simple and affordable
Finally, a realistic hospital bag.... I've always found myself so tired n yucky that I barely shower, so I'm always in my hospital gown n only chance to go home lol
I just had my first baby and I can tell that this is all that you'll need for giving birth!
I'd add a healing spray for down there, and add a couple of pjs for baby in case they get dirty while changing the diapers.
Love this! I’m on my 5th pregnancy as well and I’m definitely not packing a bunch of stuff I don’t need. I don’t like the hospital gown though😣. I’m gonna have to change.
Literally the best most simple video I've seen.
So organized! I literally put everything in the bag. I don’t have the energy to even look for my packing cubes that I already own 😢
After having 3 babies you learn a lot 😅you don’t need much. Specially if you had a baby during pandemic 😷, I basically only had a going home outfit for me and 2 for the baby my husband took 2 outfits for him, I had one old robe 👘, socks 🧦 facial moisturizer 🧴 toothbrush, toothpaste, phone charger 🔌 and some snacks coffee ☕️ maker 😅 because they didn’t let my husband get out of the room, it was the rule at that moment. I use every they offer at the hospital 🏥 so I didn’t have to go home and have a lot to wash 🧼, I ask to leave the next day, so they discharge me next day, as soonest I got home I remove all my clothes. And then it’s when you can wear what ever you feel like 😊
Apparantly, my hospital only provides the baby's first diaper, prescription-only formula, pads and pain medication (only if you ask for it) 😢. I'll be bringing the whole kit and kaboodle, apparently.
I think I have a bit of first-time-mom-itis 😂 I have double this packed. I've gone as minimalist as I can, but having this be the first time for everything I just want to be prepared! Idk what kinds of things I or the baby will want to wear, yk? I love this video, it helps me feel reassured that I have what I need
If I were u, seriously pack light. Unless u live a long way from the hospital, just send ur SO to get anything you'll forget. The baby will honestly just stay in a long sleeve top that the hospital provides and blankets. If ur doing pictures there then one nice outfit for baby. Probably the pacifier you'll use at home. N that's it. The hospital will provide diapers, wipes, diaper cream... they'll send u home with the extra diapers... even some single use formula bottles. They are usually generous. I found overpacking be more of a stress. OH, THIS ONE IS IMPT... BRING A PORTABLE FAN... u may get hot when all that pain comes so ull want that. I got super hot with first baby..it was awful, I lucked out that they had a box fan...but I was lucky... second time, they didn't have a fan to spare.
To the point,,,,why do people pack lots and lots of unnecessary things
I dno if it’s just my experience but 0-3 is hugeeeee and I cannot imagine any newborn fitting in them 🤣
Ok but like for the car ride… do I just bring the car seat? This is my first and I can’t seem to find any info about the ride home 😭
Only things I’d add are my Nintendo switch and kindle 😊
How many diapers for yourself did you bring?
The entire pack which had 12. I didn’t use them all in the hospital though.
5th!!! But congrats
Now that's simple. I can write all this stuff down and it's simple. Thank you so very much
thank you for sharing this information us new moms don't know
THIS is how you pack for birth
Love this! So minimal and so realistic
Where did you get your travel bags?
I loveeee this
Hi boppy pillow is not that essential to bring in hospital bag?
I personally don’t think so. I’ve never brought it with all my babies.
It was essential for me. I was glad I brought it. I used it for the baby and also to sit/ lay on it
Never brought one for any of my babies either but if u feel.u will need it u can. I limited what I brought as u can always use a regular pillow to breastfeed baby on as well.
5th baby
Hello everyone, it will be my first time giving birth in Canada. Do I need to put a towel in my bag or will they give it to me at the hospital?
Hospitals have towels, don’t bother bringing one! Less laundry to do as well
Thanks for this. I'm a FTM and didn't think I needed to bring suitcase worth of stuff. Im following your list!
I’m having a c-section and will be staying for longer so I’m going to need a bit more than usual.
I’ve already packed my babies bag which has:
Nappies, wipes, barrier cream (or coconut oil for her first poop so that it comes off her skin easily), 4 changes of clothes including socks, booties and knitwear as it will be early springtime and I know it will be colder.
Swaddles, going to collect some colostrum to take so I’ll need a cooler bag so they don’t melt on the way to the hospital, pacifiers, baby blanket made from Marino and I think that’s all I’ve got so far 😅🥴
Just need to be super prepared even though I still have a month to go…. Last time I was so unprepared.
I haven’t even gotten to pack anything for myself yet but it will be much more simple than what I’ve packed for my baby.
I don’t live in America and even though some things will be provided for, not everything is and I just would rather have more than enough for her than not enough.
I guess if I forget anything, my partner can just pop down the road and go buy it but I would rather not have to do that.
So excited for your family 💙🎉 My girls are so excited to see their baby brother this summer 💙🎉🙏 I can't wait to put my bag together and pick out his coming home outfit 💙
Finally someone who doesn't take makeup like to those who do girl your giving birth no amount of makeup can fix you up from that
💖💖💖 (Congratulations on the boy again) 💖💖💖
Bone broth is one of the things which we drinks regularly in my culture…its super healthy during and after pregnancy
Where did you get the soft packing cubes. I tried checking your link tree and I don’t see any. I like them a lot and I’m packing my hospital bag
@@ChelseaWhoa they’re linked here 😊 liketk.it/4D3fI
@@TheMoranFamily thank you so much!! I just ordered through your link. I appreciate the help with finding them! 😊
The only hospital bag video I can agree with ❤ people bring wayyy too much stuff it’s crazy, I don’t want to dig through or keep track of all that
This is basically what I packed for my first baby- I also packed snacks so definitely do that too!
All this and a comfy pair of socks, my own pillow and blanket. 👌🏻
What about extra pillows?
I’ve never needed any of my own.
I love right across the street from wear i am giving birth in my small town so not too worried avout packing like crazy.
Thanks this was super helpful and I realized I could pack less for me and baby from it!
Love it 😻. I may need more but still it’s beautiful 🙏🏻
Where is your bag from
Here’s the link 😊 bit.ly/3S1uouI

Straight to the point video…good one 👍🏻
Nice tips!
Hi ❤ which nursing bras are those ?
I believe the bag is a target weekender bag ❤
Love this ! So simplw
They have outlets on the side of the bed 🤫
This is the best video ever thank God
My aunt just had her 6th child and your getting there lol
Hi
Yess I needed this quick and simple
This is all i usually pack as well ❤
oh she's good she knows what she's doing for sure!
SNACKS TOO! 😂
I personally never needed them
Love it!!
The provide for postpartum care supplies ?
Almost all hospitals in America supply postpartum care products while you are there and you can take extra home with you. I'd ask your ob office what they supply at your hospital :)
Yes
Snacks?
Every time I’ve taken some I never touched them. The hospital provided plenty of snacks.
Same... plus I was never too hungry after birth. If u want something specific, then maybe bring that.
