I've been sober for about two years now. Didn't get any professional help but I'm feeling great. With God, anything is possible. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.
This song hit me so hard that I cried like a baby. I lost my husband after a 6.5 year battle with MS this past April. He struggled with alcohol before that. All the crap I have dealt with from child sexual abuse,. Alcoholic parents and weight issues because of it all. I am still trying to heal at 46 years old. This song is incredible.

I got off track, i made mistakes for 20 years. I hit my knees and God forgave me. I changed. God took away my bitterness , and healed my mind . Now i can forgive others because God forgave me.

The first time i heard this song was on the day that i was 3 months sober from alcohol, drugs. It was also the day that i was able to continue sobriety with 2 bottles of alcohol and 4 different drugs sitting right in my reach. after my husband left me and I lost my daughter and my sister I started drinking heavily everyday it got to the point where it was changing me but I stood up and took my life back I haven't had a drink in over a year. I am healed I no longer think about alcohol I'm finally free.

my dad has been doing drugs off and on since i was born. im now 18 years old and he finally quit and went to rehab fathers day of 2012. i thank god every day for his massive change he made in life. fathers day of this year we were at church and i did sign language to this song for my dad and all the others who had suffered from a massive issue that year or in the past. i love my daddy with all my heart and glad he finally gave up drugs to be a better person!!
This song is 100% me. It's like they wrote it after watching the story of my life. What that tells me is that I'm not the only screw up in the world and that there is hope for all of us because of God's love and grace for us all. I'm starting to forgive myself, but some past sins are harder to let go of than others. I'll get there.
God has his way for everyone, and this only shows that even tho we may do bad things, that we can change our ways and look to god for our answers and salvation.

The day I herd this song I was driving, going home. I live in the middle of nowhere (I love it) but all around me is God's country. As I am driving, I am thinking of the mistakes I have made and all the hurt I have caused. The minute this song comes on, I begin to ball. I pull over on a dirt road and hide my face in my hands, I look up and there was the most amazing sunset I have ever seen. I believe my God is beautiful, and I feel exactly what the songs says, "changed".

After a life changing experience I gave my life over to the Lord and met a man who is as God fearing as I now am. Emma I had addiction problem 2 I am alil over 2 years clean now but it takes time for all things to heal I promise I was a horrible person but show them by your actions it may not happen over night but I promise when the time is right it will happen
I'm happy to report that I am now over a year clean and loving life. I learned to distance myself from my family to a degree but still keeping them in my life. I found a healthy balance. It does help that I live 1,500 miles away from them : )Thanks for the comments : ) God bless.

This song is my anthem. Back in 2011 I was busted by the S.W.A.T. Team and Police. I was hooked on pills, and buying them illegally. Since the bust, I haven't anymore. I am so proud of myself. And so thankful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, my Mom, my few Family, my friend's, and my pets that helped me through it, and was there for me through it all. And I even thank the Law, and Courts. I got out of all that crap, and am getting my stuff together. In fact now I am thinking of becoming an EMT, Firefighter, or Cop. I had a riding fall during a competion. They played this song when I was in the hopstial because I was in a coma. thank you all for sharing your stories im crying over here lol life can be so hard but we can all make it through.i was was with a girl for almost 5 years.we were terrible to eachother but i was saving up for a ring to ask her to marry me when i found out she cheated on me, we both tried to over dose on pills. its taken me some time but were finally talking and apologizing.thank god for the chance to make things right.

The day I herd this song I was driving, going home. I live in the middle of nowhere (I love it) but all around me is God's country. As I am driving, I am thinking of the mistakes I have made and all the hurt I have caused. The minute this song comes on, I begin to ball. I pull over on a dirt road and hide my face in my hands, I look up and there was the most amazing sunset I have ever seen. I believe my God is beautiful, and I feel exactly what the songs says, "changed".
Learning to finally appreciate and love who I am. Everyday Is just a new opportunity for me to right some wrongs. God take the wheel!
rascal flatts music is always helpful....i remember when i was younger being hurt or depressed and sitting in my room listening to his songs over and over again.i still do it at times and hes just really been an inspiration.

i battled drugs and alcohol for many years(18), i heard this song in a treatment center sung by a counselour while he played piano too it ,it really touched me and made me think where my life was headed that was sometime ago, im ''CHANGED'' and never looked back!! thanks james!! keep the faith and make that change by all means

I believe that is wonderful. I was never an addict of substance but of all the ungodly things in life. After a life changing experience I gave my life over to the Lord and met a man who is as God fearing as I now am. Sunday I was baptized again, the difference it was to fill my self with the Holy Spirit. This song takes me to who I use to be and by the grace and love of God who I am now. This is the first time i've heard this song i was living. For God for many years and fell off track and let my addiction get the best of me an backslide witch cost me the last 3 years in prison i was released October 2nd 2023 during the 3 years i had lost everything my wife my children my life was worthless i was left with one way to turn an that was to the one i new could and would help me if i would just turn to him and thats what i did i prayed for forgiveness and allowed God to come back in my life and here i am a changed man im outta prison i now have my wife and 1 of my children back and working on getting my daughter home as well so for anyone thats faceing addiction just please no your never to far gone that God isnt there with open arms and without him it is impossible to recover that may sound harsh but it's the truth i lovèeach an everyone of you and may God bless you absolutely

Emma I had addiction problem 2 I am alil over 2 years clean now but it takes time for all things to heal I promise I was a horrible person but show them by your actions it may not happen over night but I promise when the time is right it will happen
I'm happy to report that I am now over a year clean and loving life. I learned to distance myself from my family to a degree but still keeping them in my life. I found a healthy balance. It does help that I live 1,500 miles away from them : )Thanks for the comments : ) God bless.

This song is my anthem. Back in 2011 I was busted by the S.W.A.T. Team and Police. I was hooked on pills, and buying them illegally. Since the bust, I haven't anymore. I am so proud of myself. And so thankful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, my Mom, my few Family, my friend's, and my pets that helped me through it, and was there for me through it all. And I even thank the Law, and Courts. I got out of all that crap, and am getting my stuff together. In fact now I am thinking of becoming an EMT, Firefighter, or Cop. And then someday planning on moving to Nashville, TN, or Cali to pursue my REAL dream which is to become a Country music singer/song writer, and Actress. Thank God I'm changed!! Thank You, God :) ❤❤
