My favorite hotel in atlantic city!!
Borgata is the best
Hi, love the Borgata. I was there opening night in July 2003. What a great time. I stayed there all the time. I never payed for a room. ❤️
Oh thank you! Figured it was about 20 years since it opened! I wasn’t sure. Great place! 😃
I recently discovered your channel. I'm a long time Vegas traveler who just started going to Atlantic City because MGM gave me a comp offer. I loved it! And I love your Atlantic City videos! I'm currently watching all things AC to plan my trip next. Thanks for sharing-- your videos, tips and commentary are awesome and super helpful :)
Thank you so much for the nice Comment! Glad you are enjoying my channel and AC! Borgata is the only MGM property. There are 3 Caesar’s properties in town. I get comp Caesar’s rooms in Vegas but not AC.. go figure lol 😂
I’m from New Jersey and I love Atlantic City. Me and my husband are going for the 3rd time this year. I really enjoy these videos from you. Thanks for taking the time to record.
I’m so glad you enjoy them! Good luck at the casino! 😊🎰
Staying at the Borgata for the first time next month (usually stay at Ocean, but quite frankly, too many things have gone downhill there)
Celebrating my Birthday at the Borgata tonight and tomorrow. Normally stay at Oceans, so this will be my first time. Great video and commentary 👍🏾
Happy birthday! Hope you have a great time! Good luck in the casino!
Yes this place is awesome so beautiful throughout happy new year stay safe 🎉🎉👍🏼
Thank you! Happy new year as well!
Im here now having a blast
Great! 😊
Looks really nice.
We Love❤️❤️the Borgata!
I been many times in Atlantic city NJ but never been at Borgata. Looking amazing place, thanks for the video
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you for hanging with us!
Thanks for you’re review I’m going for my birthday in a week
Hav e a great time and happy birthday 😊
I’m going tomorrow! So excited to go for like the tenth time!
Sweet! Hope you had a fabulous time!
6/25/24 My wife and I usually vacation in Vegas or the West. This will be our first time in AC and staying in Borgata in 2 days .... thanks for the tour !
Oh that’s wonderful! Hope you enjoy it! Flying into AC?
Great place. I go 5x/year for the last 15yrs. The downstairs food court is nice, but your comps are only worth half. All the upstairs restaurants are 1:1. Bread & Butter is great for sandwiches, Metropolitan is decent and reasonable, the other restaurants are good but I usually go alone so, I skip them. The buffet is incredible. I stopped going to boardwalk casinos because the bums are out of control and wander in, especially late at night and their parking garages aren't as safe as the marina casinos. Borgata was better with comps before MGM took over, but still the best of the marina casinos.
Going to Borgata next week and your video was really helpful for me❤️ Thank you 😍
That’s awesome! So glad it was helpful 🥰 have a great time and good luck!! 🎰
Borgatta opened in 2003 and me and my wife have been going there ever since they opened. You must get a fiore suite. Not that expensive but you will be blown away by the bathroom with walk in shower for two and Jacuzzi tup all marble vanity and big closet. Plus you get two great robes waiting for you in the closet. The suites are at the end of the halls where the curved part is . I've stayed numerous times in fiore suite and once in a piatta suite on my 25 th anniversary. My 30 th is coming up in October so we will be in an opus room. Best hotel in AC
Wow! That sounds amazing! I was able to stay in the fiore suite in April it was wonderful! Made a video about it. Borgata is a wonderful hotel. Hope you guys have a great time in the opus room. Happy 30h anniversary 😊
This place really looks like a great place. I have to try it soon. it's probably the only place I haven't been to. Good luck and happy new year.
Thank you! Happy new year to you as well! Hope you get to visit the Borgata soon!
hi jennifer and kelly. thanks for another great video!! wifey and i have never stayed a night at the borgota. we used to stay on the boardwalk mostly. now we stay at the golden nugget. the Borgata's a pretty nice place though. cheers
Thank you! Cheers to you as well! I will have to stay at golden nugget next time. Heading to AC now going to stay at Borgata again and Harrahs this time.. 😊
@@JenniferSparksSavoy hey jennifer!! thats soo cool your going there again. were going to the nugget the last weekend of this month. Have fun down there, and im sure you will!! im looking foward to seeing the videos!! cheers!!!
Always called this the Big B....will be there on the 28th of Sept.......excellent venue
Have a great trip!
gona be there same day
Atlantic City is nice. Just wish the streets outside the casinos would be better.
Me too! Hopefully one day 😊🙏🏻
Hi friends Borgata number one for me with CAEARS Number 2
When my late wife was a live she loved to stay at the Trump Taj. The Trump casinos were the first to have a seat in front of every slot machine. Since my wife loved to play slot machines she liked that. We did try eating at several different hotels, but, she liked eating at the Trump Taj also.Liked staying there too. We felt safe at the Taj. We did pass by the Borgota, but, never went there.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with me ❤️😊
Trump casinos were the best, especially Taj Mahal, better than Hard Rock.
I was born there and I miss Atlantic City New Jersey. now I’m in North Carolina for the past decades
Hope you get to go back to visit soon!
Nice video
Thank you! 😊❤️
I'm Vegas regular and will be staying at Borgota first time in March. They gave me a comp for the weekend so looking forward to exploring. Thanks for the info! Any recommendations for restaurants?
Sweeet! Are you staying going to explore the boardwalk resorts or stay in the harbor? Congrats on the comp rooms! Harrahs is in walking distance to Borgata, golden nugget is near by and you can take a jitney to the Boardwalk if you want to explore that it’s about a 12 min drive
Nice tip about keeping the phone charged to get into room. I always found the linens and pillows great also. Can't tell you how many times we had to go around again to get into hotel. I is a bit confusing. That was before gps.
Going to have to go there again someday soon!
Hi enjoyed your video. Never stayed there. I only stay where I can get comps. I've played there 2 times.
Hi! I hear you! I haven’t gotten comp rooms yet there either from MGM just from the myVEGAS rewards. 2 times for 1 night. Where do you find the room comps to be best?
I went to borgata from when it opened in 2003 to 2013 with my parents all the time. We went almost every weekend. It looks mostly the same. I loved bread/butter Cafe. Moved to Florida as an adult so don't go anymore Unfortunately. But my parents still go all the time. 🙂
I have to try the Bread and butter cafe! Looks great! Did you ever go to the casinos in Florida? Think there are a few hard rocks there?
@Traveling With Jennifer Sparks Savoy Yes definitely. My wife and I go every couple of months. lol
@@Quick1blue def in my bucket list! Going to hard rock in AC today!
Ocean casino is where it's at! It is literally directly on the water. Clean, with a lot to do within the casino itself 😊
Amazing place!!
Borgata blows Ocean away. Borgata has a more refined clientele.
Great video
Going on Friday with my son staying at trapicana.
Where's the best place for breakfast or breakfast buffet???
Thank you :) oh the Tropicana has great food choices! No buffets tho. Gilchrist in the Chelsea tower is very popular if you like diner atmosphere. There is a hash house a go go on site if you like large portions and photos worthy food. I love the crepe place personally but it’s not a sit down I take it to my room. Cass taco serves breakfast too. Never had breakfast but there Mexican fare is great 👍 have a great time!
I been at ocean resort and casino and Tropicana.
Do you have a video on how to use my Vegas slots app and how to get comps?
I can get a free room from my Vegas. It's about a 7 hr. drive so I would stay another night, maybe at another hotel. I've stayed at Harrah's, Golden Nugget, Resorts and Caesers. Maybe I'll stay at Tropicana. I like the boardwalk there, the Latin Quarter, the many restaurants and the it's walkable to Bally's and Caesars.
I agree its the best casino in AC. I used to get free rooms all the time before MGM merge with them.
Just wondering I saw your Hard rock video too between Hard Rock and Borgata which had the better room/ bed comfort and cleanliness? Thanks in advance 🤗 I really enjoy your content!
Thank you so much for hanging with us 😊 geez.. both rooms are pretty comparable. I personally like the north tower rooms best at the Hard rock they have great bathrooms and windows/views. The biggest difference is location. If you are new to AC Hard rock is right on the boardwalk. Borgata is by the harbor/ bay. Both are really nice properties but I would have to choose hard rock if you want to check out other hotels. You can walk to resorts (connected) and also Ocean resort pretty easily 😊
@@JenniferSparksSavoy Thank you for responding and God bless 🙏❤
@@helga5955 ❤️ have a great time!
I absolutely luv the Borgata!! All you have to do is jump on the shuttle to the Boardwalk. (jitney)
Hey! Can you share with me how the jitney works? Do you have to make a reservation? Is it free?
@@JenniferSparksSavoy you go to the entrance by the sports lounge at Borgata. There is a glassed in like buss stop there. You wait and one usually comes around about every 15 minutes or so. It is around 3.00 a person. Its a small buss, holds around 13 people. You tell them where you want to go. There are stops all around the boardwalk around the casinos. Ocean has one right outside there doors. Some casinos you have to go behind them on the street. The most convenient are Ocean and Borgata. But they stop at Harrshs, Golden Nugget. They drive a little crazy fast tho. It was the cheapest way for us to get around. You can take a taxi from Borgata to boardwalk. The max they can charge is right on the taxi. I believe it was 14.00? But watch out they try to get you for more.
Is the breakfast buffet open on Wednesdays and if so what hours are they serving breakfast?
It’s closed wed.. :( I’m usually there mid week as well so I never get to film it lol it’s open Friday- Monday right now
do borgata rewards dollars expire at the end of the year? I know tiers reset but what about rewards?
Not sure how long they last but the rewards don’t reset just the tier 😊
How far is the drive to boardwalk?
About 10 mins. Ocean and hard rock are the closest casinos
If I understand you correctly, the regular Borgata pool also has a hot tub? I thought that only the Water Club Tower pool had a hot tub?
Inside the Borgata indoor pool there was a hot tub spa but it closed when I was there and roped off
Is the casino very smoky?
Yea pretty much! If we stay over we play in the morning it’s much better then
Borgata is one of the most popular casinos in Atlantic City especially with people from New York City. I have spent lots of time at the Borgata including many stays overnight and could probably walk it blindfolded and although it can be tricky to drive thru for me it is like auto pilot. I do like the Borgata but I would not say it is my favorite casino. Tropicana for me still is my favorite because there seems to be a whole lot more to do and dining is not as upscale as most all Borgata Restaurants seem to be for the most part. Borgata is the only casino that has a Race Book which has been there even way before the Sports Book. Next time maybe you can check out the Water Club which has 7 pools and a lot of shops and is connected to the Borgata casino. Rooms are a lot more pricey so you might have to wait for another comp to stay there but I would think the rooms are a lot nicer. Parking is $5.00 and has been for years even in the summertime when most others charge up to $40.00. I believe you don't have to pay again if you leave and come back as long as you are staying at the casino but don't quote me on that one. They just always ask me that question when I leave if I am staying in one of the rooms. Lot of great memories at the Borgata and I would eat Breakfast at the Bread and Breakfast most all the time. By the way there is a White House at Hard Rock up on the second floor. I grew up in Philly and we call them Hoagies and I always get a Cheese Steak Hoagie when I go to that White House at Hard Rock. The original spot is still open I believe and we would wait for 30 minutes to an hour to eat there back in the late 1970's. Thanks for exploring the Borgata for us. Another one of my homes away from home.
Thank you for all of this info! Always wondered what the water club was.. is it part or the bellagio? Thought maybe it was a timeshare. We did eat at the white house at Hard rock.. so good!! We love the Tropicana too! What is your favorite tower to stay in? We have only stayed in the Havana tower
@@JenniferSparksSavoy water club is part of Borgata and you can reserve rooms there but at a much higher rate. I have never stayed there so not sure how the rooms are in the Water Club. Always stop at the white house when at Hard Rock and you are right soooo very good! I have stayed in all the towers at Tropicana. They keep doing renovations so hard to say which is my favorite now, Havana used to be the spot but perhaps the North Tower now. I stayed in a couple really nice rooms in the South Tower in the past. Thanks for sharing your trips to AC always enjoy watching your stays.
I was just there for some some slot fun!!
Cool! Hope you had a great time!
Good hotel probably the best in AC..bad management after ten years going there I left this place .
Great video, Been going to the Hard Rock really like but want to change it up, what do you think about Caesars or Ocean ? Thx
Thank you :) Ocean is a lot newer. Caesar location is great tho. If I had to choose I would go to the Ocean. It’s just father from the other casinos
@@JenniferSparksSavoy thank you
The Ocean would be the best. You are directly on the water, and the broadwalk. The view from the rooms is stunning.
Does anyone know if you check in on your phone, do you get to pick your room off a floor layout/map. I know hilton does that on their app.
Yea you can check in on your phone and you will receive the room number and a scan that will work the elevator
My father does not care for the boardwalk. He also likes to play cards mainly at the Borgata. I believe parking is still $5. I prefer the boardwal,, instead of just being stuck inside a casino. I even go off the boards for some true hidden gems. Keeps it interesting. Love talking to the locals. DO AC!
Love to hear where you like to go off the boardwalk! So many cool places not enough time! Lol heading back to AC now staying at Borgata and Harrah’s this time. I will def miss not being on the Boardwalk tho
@@JenniferSparksSavoy Irish Pub,(not so hidden) Tony's Baltimore Grille(behind Trop parking garage on Atlantic Avenue) Great watering holes, worth checking out.
@@johnknowles6711 cool! Thanks so much! I’ll check them out..Heading to Hard rock today maybe I can visit one at least :)
Hey Jennifer, I scored 3 free nights from BetMGM. Our little one is 14 months old, and I'm wondering if the indoor pool is kid-friendly. Any thoughts on whether we should go for the Borgata or MGM Towers? Appreciate your advice!
Hello! I apologize for getting back to you so late. I would recommend Borgata. I know for sure children are allowed in the indoor facility I’m not completely sure about the towers I didn’t see any children there at all in the pools so I’m thinking they are adult only. Have a great time!!
Pools are adults only and they check ID
if I use the mobile check in, can I share a screenshot with my roommate so they can get in too without the app?
That’s a wonderful question.. I don’t know for sure tho! Never tried that. Good luck and have a great time!
Borgata built in the year 2000. The casino opened september 2002
Thank you 😊
The borgata is a really nice and peaceful place but not enough action like there is in Tropicana.
The Cosmopolitan is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner
Thank you for the recommendation!
Are kids allowed in outdoor pool?
no only in the indoor pool
Tell me more about the app that got you the comped room
It’s called “my Vegas” it’s a slot game you log in daily and collect coins to use for slot play and you accumulate points to use for real casino rewards. They also have a bingo version that works the same and think black jack as well.
Bread & Butter is the best
I agree. AC comps me much better then.
Mohegan. Foxwoods. Like. AC
Winter spring summer fall
I receive a lot of concert tickets and sporting event tickets from Mohegan but no rooms. 😞
Not a "grinder", not a "submarine". It's HOAGIE!!! 😀
Thank you! 😊
The Borgata is the only place we stay in AC
You didn't walk past Premier nightclub
I have to find that next time!
Ptsd workplace
It is not dangerous for my self?
I'm a lady
I don’t feel Borgata feels dangerous. Like anywhere be careful if your personal belongings. I use a cross body bag as a pocketbook at the casino and everywhere I go.
They like to give you ptsd with their devices I was homeless
I like Borgata before MGM took them over. As a matter of fact, I like every hotel before it was ever taken over by MGM. 😢
Do tell! What is the difference? I never went there before it was MGM
@Traveling With Jennifer Sparks Savoy I thought the restaurants were a little better, and when you order coffee from room-service now it comes in to-go boxes. Before they used to serve it to you in actual glassware.
