Brilliant . Came to watch this video by accident , while searching for another one of your videos Fred , which I really have a deep desire to watch . And I end up everyday watching a completely different video ! And I’m greatly enjoying the experience . I will eventually find the video I saw of your’s , some time ago , as I was inspired by the title of it . But I keep on being glued to whatever video I pull up with the intention of searching your channel . What happens is whatever video I pop up , it starts playing and I’m hooked ! Ha ha ! Lol "i" started to tear up emotionally when I realized that "i" am the chief of police looking for the criminal, who is secretly the chief of police. I was it the whole time but didnt understand where it was hiding. Is it normal to be frightened when initially noticing "Fred" to not be as real as you imagined your whole life?

This video came up on my feed, and I just wanted to let you know that "We Fred Students" who have remembered our true nature have not necessarily fallen back onto the dream, but rather some of us just have a lot more dream than others to unravel.
I just know for myself that for the past few years, I have been meticulously going through my mental inventory and getting clear on whatever doesn't match with Clarity itself.
I just wanted to share with you that your words have not fallen on deaf ears, and I'm sure that I can speak for others of your students who have "seemed to fall back intp the dream." 💕🙏
Falling back into the dream is optional-when it is. Often it’s not. Many will, many won’t. I’m not surprised to hear that you carry on with the work. 🙂

Thanks, Fred. "Notice" rather than "awaken" - a very helpful distinction. The character cannot awaken, nor can it even notice that it is awake (since it's not). Only the One who is conscious can notice it's awake, or notice anything else for that matter. All that I see is Me seeing, and I see I am This.

Just recently awakening happened. Now cant stop the joy that comes. Samsara is nirvana. It's impossible to talk about it because there is no "witnessing presence" no separate. This is, that is all. It isnt appearing to anyone or appearing as anything. It is.

While listening to this video, I somehow remembered that Adya once said, when Buddha finally waked up, he said something like this, I waked up and everybody waked up. I guess what He meant is that there is only this One that recognized itself.....
His followers asked him, "Siddhartha, something has happened to you! Are you a man, a god, or a demon?"
Tradition says that he answered, "I am awake."
I'm betting he actually said, "I am Awakeness."
I had something of a satori some forty years ago and have been wandering in the darkness ever since. I have had the Book of Undoing on my kindle for two years unread. I liked it enough to get the audio version. However there it sat unread on my kindle while I still worked at how the hell to do Enquiry/Atma Vichara. After not really getting anywhere I started listening to the Book of Undoing and wallah, Mr. Davis laid it out there so clear you couldn't miss it. I recommend, if you haven't been able to "get it" get this book. I have no connection with Fred other than loving this book. The text version is great, but I love listening to the audible version via bluetooth reclined on my bed or easy chair. If you do this don't be surprised if you "get It", what you have been struggling for so long. Blessings to you Fred and to us all.

that produces our dreams ( and nightmares) is the SAME substance, that causes the DAY DREAM ( through out our Life) many teaches overcomplicated in the way they approach this top. They say the brain creates consciousness but I get this sense that consciousness is the fabric of this universe. Consciousness is always there behind everything, behind mind, even while you're sleeping it's aware of your dreams. Now it's just a matter of tunning out of the identification with mind and tunning back into our true nature which is being. It just is..
This is good. You are dead-on that Consciousness is the fabric of the universe. The only reason we know we dream is because Consciousness is there.
The body will go on doing what it will do anyway. As far as I get it. (?). There is what is anyway, and it is happening. And if I think it is wrong and it should be different, thats also part of the whole, perfect dance. I can see me doing it. I can se me happening. I can see It happening. It just happens as it always did.

Isn't the language about meditation also confusing. It's constantly about 'looking' within, and going deeper, looking deeper inside yourself when you can only be 'it', you can't look for it, you can only look from it. Any looking is essentially looking at everything it isn't? I'm definitely not ego free though, so I wouldn't know for sure, but that's my thoughts on it.
It IS confusing! But I certainly understand why that is so, and clearly so do you.
All language is a finger pointing to the moon. We get captured by the language and miss the moon. And so it is until it isn't.

I think he's saying that "Fred" aka "this unit" did not awaken; a nondual awareness awakened from "Fred" aka "this unit," and the understanding of the awakening is experiential rather than conceptual, which explains why language is so inadequate to communicate the insight. Yes I "know" that from time to time. But still I'm searching in a way. Or I'm not satisfied. But still there is no I. Just my long story and beliefs. Slowly it's falling of and equanimity is shining trough. But still got the feeling of not being pure awareness. I want more disassociation with mind. @@FredDavisNonduality but I have hard time.... to stay as awareness . I have been meditating for nearly 2 years. And when I meditate my body starts relaxing. But at other times it's hard to stay as awareness. I guess this is my final barrier to get in from duality to non duality. I get everything what you been saying in all your videos there's no one but only a field of awareness. But ego comes in....
