    I don't watch a lot of UA-cam videos but ever since I followed you on TikTok. I check every day to see if you've posted here. You seem so natural which I really like. I'm not sure if 'natural' is the right word since English isn't my first language. Anyway I wish you all the best and hope you keep making videos 🤍

    How is a company allowed to do this to an employee?! She should be able to sue them

    damn what’s up with all the hate on OP #2 from those comments? having polyamorous parents isn’t trauma lmao. having polyamorous in-laws is not a trigger. it’s cool for them not to be into it, but the fiancé is deeply emotionally unhealthy to be unable to distinguish between consensual polyamory and cheating, and the fact that he won’t listen to her despite the fact that they have basically the exact same attitude towards it? major red flag. even more so when he didn’t even share his own baggage behind his blowup. also not defending the parents, sounds like they suck, but people are terrible parents for every goddamn reason under the sun, so i don’t think we can blame that on polyamory, and as an adult you need to be able to distinguish what was incidentally bad about your parents from what was actually bad. just everyone in that story needs therapy so bad.
    also story #3… jawdroppingly evil and unnecessary, wow

      I don’t know enough about the effects of polyamory on children who have polyamorous parents to say my for sure opinion. However, I do feel like in some ways it can definitely be traumatic especially if someone is saying that they feel they have trauma from it - their feelings are valid in that! But yes I agree that the parents would probably suck no matter what kind of relationship they had, seems like they didn’t need to have kids in the first place!

      @@jamienelson4098the trauma is real and valid but I don't think it stems from polyamory. If the parents would have just told her in the first place they where seeing more people then she wouldn't have been traumatized by "catching" her father with another woman.
      The worst thing is, she just repeated the cycle by having her fiance go through the same thing with him and his mother in law.

      I was about to comment exactly this. The guy needs therapy, I get he has trauma but it has 0 to do witj OP or her parenrs

    • @longlostgf

      @@jamienelson4098 i don’t think there’s anything wrong with parents being polyamorous! no more so than any other “nontraditional” or “traditional” marriage or family. of course OP’s feelings about her trauma from her parents’ behavior are real and valid, but idt her conclusions are, necessarily. like parents can traumatize their kids over anything - maybe they’re religious and controlling, maybe they’re an alcoholic, maybe they’re like a beauty influencer who prioritizes their career and appearance over their kids. but, in those scenarios, if their adult children then react to all religious people, all people who drink, or all people who like fashion or makeup as if religion, alcohol, or beauty were inherently wrong or evil, that’s not going to be healthy because they’re projecting their experience into others. in a way it’s letting the parents off the hook for what was actually wrong about their behavior, imo.
      (i do kinda think the commenter who said “getting caught is part of it” was maybe onto something, though)

    am I the only one who feels the boyfriend's reaction to the girl's parents being in an open relationship was a little.... dramatic?
    like granted, she should've gave him a little warning, but to question their future marriage because of her parents actions is a bit much for me. just because she tolerates her parents relationship doesn't mean she's accepting of it. idk, i would've expected him to be a bit thrown off with the weirdness.... but to basically assume your girlfriend shares the same morals bc she tolerates them is again a bit dramatic.

    • @jamienelson4098
      @jamienelson4098  5 днів тому

      No yes it was dramatic for sure if my bf reacted as if I cheated on him bc my parents are in an open relationship I would be so confused

    • @jamienelson4098
      @jamienelson4098  5 днів тому

      Like as if she is supposed to cut her parents out of her life bc they are open. Idk what he expects from her but he def was being dramatic for sure
