I was here few yrs ago with family.... Puerto is always more cloudier and greener.... We went to the lido and lorro parque such a big park lots to do and see bus takes you there

We have just come back from Puerto de la Cruz ten days and only had three days of clouds the rest of the time wall to Wall blue sky we are both in our seventies you just take your time the botanical gardens and the orchid gardens are amazing and if you are going to do Mont teide do the secular tour you get to see much more of Tenerife and the history you learn is amazing

Went to Puerto de la Cruz for the first time about 10 years ago been back a couple of times , going back in October this year . Beautiful place.

Gorgeous flashback not been since January 2002 always a little cooler in the north (mum & dad’s favourite place abroad) clouds come from nowhere anytime now I’m old it would suit me 😂 although Lanzarote has my ❤️

Obviously, due to limited time, this was a very limited introduction to Puerto de la Cruz. Lots of interesting things there. For me Playa Blanca is somewhere to visit for a complete switch off and rest where as Puerto de la Cruz is for stimulation of interest and recharging the batteries.
Best of luck with the plastic hell holes in the south of the island.

Was there for a week in November. Gorgeous place. But beware, Nov is mosquito season. And they had a feast on me. I looked like I had allergic reaction 😂😊

I've been Tenerife 2 years in a row now and split my time up between the south for excursions and the buzz then a bit of time in PDLC for a bit of chill time. Parking is AWFUL!!! My car was parked 1km from my accomodation!!!

Also check out molly malones a good pub for entertainment was a man called des that ran it he had people on stage playing the instruments had everyone joining in was Irish folk music mostly des not well now heard his sons run it now is a nice building inside too

We went and got back few days ago. Beautiful place don’t get me wrong…. But unfortunately not what we expected. I wouldn’t go back …. I found most people rude there especially the Spanish

We have been in Porta De La Cruz a few times and this is real Spain with few Chinese Indian Restaurants

A lot of English people are rude, they come here and get drunk and they are always having fights just as, as it has already been in the press and in the news, scamming hotels with fake poisoning to collect insurance, throwing themselves off balconies, fights every now and then on the same planes that bring British tourists and then not complying with the rules, like going to forbidden places, speaking only in English without making an effort to speak in Spanish, giving an image of lazy and ignorant.
@@MrTravelONWorld The image of the English is not very good here for the reasons I have already stated. It's what is called drunk and fight tourism here, which we don't want and it's the image you sell. Not all of them, of course, but sadly that's the way it is and it's a rare day that there isn't a news story related to the English and their fights on planes, hotels, in the streets, jumping from hotel balconies to swimming pools or hotel scams. It's sad indeed. Hence the terrible image
