What a refreshing change. Not only was the film honest, informative,at times funny with the repartee but also self corrective if the no needed amending. This film without the voiceover would have been a boring noise. Well done a superb watch.
Absolutely fantastic video, thoroughly enjoyable. You must have thought you were in heaven seeing all those 70s, if only you could see that many 68s in a video. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
1. FIVE SEVENTIES! You certainly got your money’s worth there! 2. I think this has to be the best film you’ve ever produced! 3. For me the highlight was specifically 70010 sounding absolutely gorgeous flying through. 4. I also love the sound the 170s make when they’re leaving they have a sense of character to them
That was by far and away the best film I had ever done and I think it will take some serious doing to outdo that evening! I'm sure it will happen but I don't know when haha
Literally half your video Jarred is pendolino's flying up and down between Euston and Manchester, 2x Colas 70ss, 3x FL 70s, 2 heritage movements, couldn't ask for more than that, thoroughly enjoyed watching and thumbs up from me as always
Another splendid video. I've spent afternoons at Nuneaton, but the evening is so busy that I must do it. The 1st Pendolino you filmed going to Liverpool was 390050 on the 16.07 from Euston. I saw it at Lime Street on my way to watch The Might Reds beat Huddersfield 5-0!
Fantastic video and great opening shot you were lucky with that pendolino! The other loco on that West Coast Railways move was 33012 :) Was also great seeing that 47 with the 31!
Thanks very much, I had to be very quick in getting myself set up in order to catch the WCR set passing through, fortunately the 390 passed me just in time
Outstanding Jarred. You outdid yourself there. Plenty of traffic charging through at speed (video should've been titled Fast and Furious haha!!). The Class 70's were the highlight, especially the two powering away after driver changes. The rainbow Pendo was 390045 (formerly 101*Squadron now named on 221101). Look forward to your next two videos, especially Carlisle. Again, everything will be there.
A little trivia for you. At 26:13 where there appears to have been a section of the platform cut out, that's exactly what happened. 6 June 1975 the night sleeper from Euston to Glasgow took a 20mph speed limit at 80mph and one of the locos buried itself into the platform and instead of rebuilding it they simply tidied it and left it as it was. I was on the station in 1984 having got off an up express and left my bag on the train (yeah, I know!) and was waiting for it to be returned after being transferred to a down express at Rugby. While I was there a member of staff was telling me about the incident as he was on duty that evening and witnessed it first hand. My bag didn't arrive on the down express, it arrived at the Red Star office at Burton on Trent a couple of weeks later. Link to the Wikipedia page for the incident..... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuneaton_rail_crash
Well thank you very much for that information I hadn't actually had the faintest idea that there was ever a rail crash here, seems to strange that it was so long ago and yet in still stays in the mind almost as if it happened the other day
@@Tornado922 it's got its own Wikipedia page. It was pretty serious and led to changes in the rulebook. Basically the sleeper train derailed inside the station and destroyed the southern tips of the platform, the scar is still there.
Some nice thought went into the upgrades and Crossover links, hats off to them who designed it. With speeds like that it better work well.. Pure Haaabbbit!! You weren't telling fibbs about the Cargo damn, Freight for days here. This is a Hotbed of action! Yeah, 70020 70005 are pure winners. My sweet D!$k this film was the business, now don't feel bad speeding in TSW. I've had countless accidents in my pants and there's still 10 mins left to watch ;} Nice work! B.P.
This was one of the best evenings I've had doing this for a lone old while and I can safely say it would take some serious doing to outdo what I had here
Is there a 350 that is a triple pair paired up in all 3 livery’s (London midland, LNWR coulors but no livery and LNWR livery and coulors) cause that would be very cool
The rush hour period on this section of the West Coast Mainline has always been a great hot-spot for freight traffic. And this day was certainly one of the best! I'm glad you enjoyed this!
A lot of the services over that period were running from Nuneaton to Coventry and Leamington Spa to Coventry. Why they weren't running straight through is beyond me. But they have since introduced the service that now runs from Nuneaton to Leamington Spa.
I couldn't stand it at first when they entered service. I hated the units haha, now I'm just used to it and don't really pay all that much attention to them
Do you know the quickest route from Manchester to Witham on the bank holiday when Euston is closed for maintainance (a route on trainline will probably win but I just wanted to ask you)

Well thank you kindly for your kind words, it really is really appreciated
You hit the jackpot here mate.
Great video. Appreciate the time and effort you put in with your videos. Thanks.
Thanks very much for saying so :) This was an amazing evening spent here
Absolutely fantastic video, thoroughly enjoyable. You must have thought you were in heaven seeing all those 70s, if only you could see that many 68s in a video. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
Thanks very much, I loved my time here. It was one of the best videos I've done in a long old while :)
Wow you caught a lot of loco action! A couple of 47's, a 33, a 31, numerous class 66's, 325's, 90's, and a whopping 5 class 70's!
Great video.
I swear I lost count of the amount of freight trains there. Way more than the 2016 video at Nuneaton.
Brilliant with the 70s and the 47.
This was one of the best evenings I've had filming trains in the last few years
That Class 70 at 35:28 was absolutely brilliant!
It most certainly was!
Tornado922 Got brilliant tones off it aswell 😊
It was good to see the 2 class 70s in such close proximity. Great video all round.
This was one of the best evenings I've had in a long old while
best days to go are tuesday thursday and thats from the station staff there was 20 spotters there yesterday
Ah right ok, thanks for letting me know

Tornado922 Keep up the good work!
Great video! At some point, you should go to a station called Willington. It's on the cross country line. You see loads of freight there.
Thanks very much, I have been told about Willington on several occasions so I will have to look into it :)
Literally half your video Jarred is pendolino's flying up and down between Euston and Manchester, 2x Colas 70ss, 3x FL 70s, 2 heritage movements, couldn't ask for more than that, thoroughly enjoyed watching and thumbs up from me as always
I think the freight definitely made this more enjoyable and it was probably the best evening I've ever had whilst doing this!!
Excellent Video Jarred and it was great meeting up with you again. We got lucky with the freight as well by the looks of things 😃
Thanks very much bud, it was a great evening all round. Plenty od traction to keep us going!! It as indeed my pleasure to meet up with you again : )
Well captioned as Rush Hour. So much of it was Virgin Trains rushing by. Lots of freight which was a bonus.
This was one of the best times I've had at a station in a long old while
Amazing video, class 70' are amazing and 170101 was first production 170
Thanks very much, this was one of the best evenings I've ever had doing this

Thanks very much Paul. This was a great time spent here and if I'm honest it has to be one of the best films I've done in a long old while!!
I think the second loco @0.27 is a Crompton aka Class 33 it could be D6515 or 33012 in TOPS Parlons
Righteo, thanks for letting me know
Great video and class 70s nice sound
Thanks very much, the 70's were incredible
As always great video!
Thanks Debby!!
@@Tornado922 😂You are very welcome and thanks for the heart🥰
I would of thought then the 153 would be doing Nuneaton to Leamington Spa and not Coventry
11:30 givin' it the beanz. Gotta love diesel thrash! Awesome video as always mate!
She was indeed giving it the beanz ;)
@@Tornado922 you spelt beans wrong you put beanz xx
This is truly a rush train traffic:) Thumb up for nice shots;)
Thanks very much :D
Fantastic video. Can't wait to see you soon.
Thanks very much bud, it will be good I'm sure
Man that was some quality time spent there, great variety
Thanks very much bud

39:02 I think that container, the yellow one, is a little lost.....
the 33 was "D6515"
That spot where you started the video still shows the scars of the Nuneaton station crash.
I didn't even know that there was one if I'm honest when I started filming here
@@Tornado922 it's got its own Wikipedia page. It was pretty serious and led to changes in the rulebook. Basically the sleeper train derailed inside the station and destroyed the southern tips of the platform, the scar is still there.
@@Nayson so platform 3 is a bit shorter than all of the others
Another fantastic video here Tornado922! I really Enjoyed this.
Thanks very much :)
Lots Of Freight. Yes!!
You forgot West Midlands railway. They run the shuttle service between Nuneaton and Coventry.
It's only a 153 dog box lol
I am so used to seeing freight trains traveling so slowly in America that the ones you filmed look as though you are fast-forwarding the video.
Some nice thought went into the upgrades and Crossover links, hats off to them who designed it. With speeds like that it better work well.. Pure Haaabbbit!! Yeah all gobshite aside this really was brill', can't ask for more.. really! Thanks again! B.P.
How many 47s did you end up seeing!! I absolutely love Nuneaton, I've only been there once, awesome video!
It was incredible with the amount of freight coming through during my time there
Fantastic video 👍
Thanks very much
Is there a 350 that is a triple pair paired up in all 3 livery’s (London midland, LNWR coulors but no livery and LNWR livery and coulors) cause that would be very cool
There has been before operating into Euston
iAspex oh nice
39:01 I think that container is a little lost.....
OMG I’m in freight train heaven 😃😃😃.
The rush hour period on this section of the West Coast Mainline has always been a great hot-spot for freight traffic. And this day was certainly one of the best! I'm glad you enjoyed this!
Great video
Thanks very much
Amazing video tornado
Thanks very much
Very epic vid btw
I hope you didn't travel during Storm Doris, Beast From The East, Storm Emma, Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis?
I came back from Spain during one of the storms that we had here, but I can't remember which one it was
@@Tornado922 I'm guessing it was Storm Dennis which was on the Sunday after Storm Ciara last Sunday in February
At 13:05 it’s 390 114. How? I slowed down the video to 0.25x and started spamming pause button to find the number lol.
I just have very good eyesight hahaha
Also eyesight is better than what the camera can see
Which do you think sounds better powering up, 70 or 68? Terrific video as always.
I would have to say the 68 sounds better :)
Great vid I’m going to York in may
Thanks very much, I hoper you have a great time
Tornado922 are you going anywhere Tommorow
Why was the 153 not going through to Leamington Spa and instead terminating at Coventry

26:25 what was going on on the rear
Could be a flat wheel
Wired
0:28 what train was that?
Chazthomo 0807 That’s a West Coast Railway Train
West Coast Railways 47425 with I think 33012
B.R. Bus and Train vids Correct I was on the other Platform for that working
UK RailFreight Enthusiast I thought it was a freight train at first lol
That silly twittering noise the 350's make does amuse me - I don't know why!
I couldn't stand it at first when they entered service. I hated the units haha, now I'm just used to it and don't really pay all that much attention to them
7:09 66773 before becoming prideified
What’s ur most favourite station in Britain
Leighton Buzzard has a soft spot in my heart as it was my home town for a long while. But in terms of amount of traffic it would have to be Doncaster
My local station was potters bar long while back during the gner and network days and my main area probably ecml south
can you at forest hill
I don't understand the class 70 hate they look cool and sound great plus they are incredibly strong and very reliable 😂
They are stunning locomotives :D
Do you know the quickest route from Manchester to Witham on the bank holiday when Euston is closed for maintainance (a route on trainline will probably win but I just wanted to ask you)
Sadly not bud, the internet would be your best bet for that one
It’s all sorted now.
Raleigh is pronounced the same as "rally" :)
I totally knew that ;)
Are 153s going to be scrapped
that would be great they are a pile of crap lol
Great video mate when are you doing Dunbar? Or u not doing it?
Thanks very much, I don't know when I will be going there in all honesty
Ok mate
13:11 it was 390114
Thanks for letting me know
When are you doing letchworth
I don't know
I would I can go to Nuneaton at the point I can't go to that
Of I grew up like a seventeen yes old I can go to that station when my sister is sixteen years old and that is gonna be in 2035 ?
Lol don't the trains go zooming through the station
17:03 it was 390045
Thanks for letting me know
At 17:03 it was 39005
Do trains in Leicester!
I will be going there in a few weeks time
Ok
11:30
Great video
Thanks very much
17:23 it was 390137
