Absolutely, Regina is the person whose got me through high school and my own heart. She isn't a parent to us, and not a god, but....she's like some angel wings attached to our back, keeping us standing upright as we walk into life. I can't begin to imagine all the lives she's touched and all the things she's done with her voice and brain. I couldn't have said it better myself Victoria -- her music and us go together!!

As someone whose favourite colour is yellow and tends to be sad quite a lot, this song hit me hard
My childhood bedroom WAS Yellow -- I hated it -- I always LOOK BACK Sadly now, and dream of what MIGHT'VE BEEN. I love it now and think WHAT MIGHT'VE BEEN.
I was always SAD back then too, but now, I never look back to anytime but that one with the YELLOW room.

@@ぼじん-o5r Oh, it's not sad per say, but happy sad (melancholy). It reminds me of the good things and to never forget them and never let them go, even when you take it for granted. I look back to that yellow room, and I keep looking for a yellow room in my future to go back to, to keep all those lovely things, but in the end, I'm just a soul looking for good.
Not all sad things are bad 🙂

Stunning, beautiful, and oddly bittersweet. There's an odd tugging of heartstrings from this one especially towards the end.
I felt a bit of comedic bitterness in the first line on sickness and flowers 😄 It's like, "I only get something sweet when I'm crying (or unwell)?"
I love the lyrics here! This album is honestly seeming more lyrics-focused than music-focused if you know what I mean 😁💜

Thank you for being one of the rare good things in my childhood. I was 13 when Soviet Kitsch came out, at 16 i was really struggling & my life & stability cracking and breaking down right in front of my eyes, also dealing with a tumultous relationship when Far came out, quickly becoming my favourite album. Through all my MH issues in child&adulthood through every toxic ex through finding myself and having kids your music has been there for me and so many others.🌹✨ (One last time with feeling helped me through a lot of suicidal ideations, as well)..🖤🤍⚕️🤍🖤

I imagine it must've been hard finishing this one. Some of the things don't go together as easily as others. I wish there had been more of a conclusion, a little happy shift like "but that's okay" but this wasn't that kind of song and I liked it a lot. It released a lot of the emotions carried and left no room for denial or looking another direction. I loved the first stanza best. Also, she sung it almost in Disney fashion at parts, it was amazing!

She's not quite right. They don't really go together. They chase each other. They try to defeat one another. It's like the difference between correlation and causation. She's seeing a correlation but she's coming to the wrong conclusion. But then in the end she kind of brings it back to the right thing. But yeah, pain tries to defeat happiness and happiness tries to heal pain.
