I like how Johnny can just tell the story with out being asked one question.
His story telling isnt conventional, but its captivating.
He pays them to tell their story so he better jusy let them tell their story
Me too... very captivating😳
K Bates LoL that’s right
He goes off for an hour it's cool
You: Hey Johnny how’s it going?
Johnny: Due to the simple fact that......
:-) I haven’t even watched it and I already find that funny.
At 9:40 the sirens come in clutch to make the story even better 😂!!
Individual
Lol
I'm the type if individual that....
Straight up fights going on, sirens blaring & Johnny still eyes closed locked in, didn’t miss a beat of his story 😂😭💯
😂
Just another day in the hood. Lmao
Heroin is a helluva drug
He wouldn’t break that same energy during a cell extraction!! Believe that!!
He's definitely on heroin
The way Johnny tells his stories, it's like I'm in the hood watching all this but they cant see me. I just light up and listen and I can see it all in my head
Now that's a good movie
That is the mark of a good storyteller.
Johnny’s the mf man!! It’s soo funny to me being from nyc and knowing plenty of og Johnnys and they all have the same charisma and way of telling stories!!! So animated.. opposite side of the states but the same exact individuals!!!
Dude makes 80% of this up lol, addicts always embellish their life so they can seem like they lived a crazy life. In reality he’s just a addict who steals Gillette razors and laundry detergent for his fix. It was cool at first but his stories never have a point lol.
@@loisreese2692 I
The sirens starting in the background as soon as he said he heard the cops coming down the alley was priceless.
Heard that too
Synchronicity! 😂
At first I thought it was editing by the video lol
I agree, i was like wow that's great timing
Yeah i thought “damn this guys is about to have a ptsd episode noo!”
Johnny should be a GTA 6 character for sure
LOL hell yeah...."Go to Johnny's chop shop for your next mission"
Yesssssss
Second mission : *Low & Behold*
Third mission:GET OUT OF THE CAR
Thompson 2027 😂 😂 😂 on December 😅😅
We need a movie on this dude. Still my favorite stories on this channel.
there is one. It's called Good Time 🤣
This guy sounds like every kid I spent time with in juvenile detention. Very proud of the war stories, and happy to tell anyone who will listen.
I sat here and watched the entire thing. That was a fast 55 mins. Dude knows how to talk.
Real talk
Yes!!!
Same
I didn't even notice until the video ended!
Real talk
"I was running amuck " a book by johnny would be cool. I'd read it
Same, even if it was all 🧢
It would start and end in the middle.
Yeah he be really good at writing fairytales
@@ghostfacecreations he's the real Deal though.
You know it was really Johnny that jumped in the backseat
🗣Johnny need his own podcast...The Real Tales From The Hood...💯💯
That’s facts I could listen to this mans stories all day lmao
That would be dope
If you vatos only knew.
No , he should have been put in prison for life for the things that he has just admitted to .. not including the things nobody knows about ! I hope he becomes your neighbor.. see how much you like him then ! Lol
For real
Love how before he told the story ,he had to state the fact that its based off the court transcript and has already been convicted for it 🤣
His middle name is “double jeopardy” 😂
In Every one of Johnny’s thumbnails on all his videos he looks like completely different person
Yes!
I thought it was a different johnny in all of the videos
Maybe that’s how he got away with it for so long... 🤔 nah I’m playin..
Looks Damn near the same to me in everyone
How? lol every pic is very similar
Johnny is hands down one of the most vivid story tellers. I really hope this gentlemen writes a book about his life. He reminds me of the big homie or uncle who schooled all the youngsters in the neighborhood and everyone looks up to. He's someone you can soak up a lot of game from, no matter which walk of life you live. P.s. I would love to hear how Spooky and Javier is doing. Thanks Mark! Keep doing your thing!
@@chely8484 one of my favorite books of all time! Another one he wrote that was great was EAST LA STORIES. Great short stories.

I love this dude's storytelling. This is pretty much a first hand account about how prison teaches you to become more of a criminal. It certainly doesn't "reform" you. It institutionalizes you.
He told the whole story with his eyes closed. He's really tapping in. Lol
thats the heroine
@@RSti-sn8ro yeah dude is off that good black cut with that fent
That dope is a hella of drug. Inches turn into miles of tall tales. Im sure there are many truths behind his stories. But me having heroin addict family knows they be selling some far fetched wolf tickets at times. Hard to decipher the truth sometimes.
I was thinking he might be blind
@@p.m4874 i feel you in that im in recovery myself so i can vouch for you being 100 percent right, he probably DID do all the things he said he did, he just probably exaggerated some of the things he did or to the extent that he did them..

I would just like to say that this channel and johhnys stories have done so much for me personally, I have been a heroin addict for 2 years and I've made my first week sober. I'll never forget Johnny's story about smelling Roses flowers, all smells of life coming back. i was crying. a real one who knows. mad love to mark and Johnny. you guys have done so much for me. this channel needs to be taught in schools!
God bless the law-abiding citizens that are having a perfectly rational debate just beyond the walls of this interview.
Legend has it they are still debating that same topic to this day.
Mark, I hope that you don't stop interviewing this guy! He knows how to truly capture and draw people in with his stories and narrative style. I enjoyed all of his interviews so far.
High as a kite"!
"their brakes are always squeeking"...that's hilarious...but that's the truth ...love his story telling
He really paints the whole picture.
Ceramic brakes

Haha yeah they driving around 24/7. And they will lose their cars for days if they take it to the police car shop. Have to switch everything over. So most of them drive it until it won’t start 😂
It's not the breaks if he is talking about crown vics.....it is the squeaky struts
Wow, that was the most compelling 55 minutes I have ever sat through. Really liking your channel, Mark.
I'm so pleased to find that there's. Ore than one video of this man talking, I can listen all day to him telling stories
I could listen to this OG all day. His detail is incredible!!!
Best story teller paints a good picture
Yes he is for sure
Been here since 200k, its amazing to see how much this channel has grown! Keep up the good work!
This guy is my favorite story teller of all the videos that I’ve watched so far.
Is it just me, or was anybody else attempting to listen to the intense argument going on in the background?
Moral of the story.... The streets don’t love you and crimes doesn’t pay.
only pussy mothafuckas say that crime dont pay🔊

Johnny is back, I love his stories! It's 3am in Arizona I'm wake now!!!
Aye!! Shout out AZ I'm wide awake at 330 now cause of him. He's definitely cut from a different cloth. His attitude and brazen mindset seem rare nowadays. idk if that's a good or sad thing, but who am I to decide.

I can listen to his stories all day. The way he tells a story I feel like I'm right there next to him when all this goes down as he tells these stories .
Johnny I admire your way of thinking because I myself am very creative and at times resourceful just with my way of thinking outside of the box. But today I woke up depressed and feeling mentally weaker but re watching this helped me “re-cure” my creative positivity again. love you brotha thank you.
He is such a great story teller. Straight through- no questions asked! 😂✅❤️
IKR love these kind of interviews
He would have made a good lawyer.
Damn u be looking fine tho
the way he tells it she actually kidnapped him cus with the gun to her head she refused to stop and let him out of the car lol he's smarter than he looks telling that to a judge and jury
He's a pu#%y
Now, here's a real OG.
I love how vivid of a picture he creates in your mind. It's like watching a movie
Good shit, my god the quality stories and the sheer source of info / content this guy has through experiences is incredible, binged all the joey diaz stories and this guy fills the void.
As someone who grew up in Norwalk I can say that stories like this humble you and remind you how real it is in the streets.. I never got into it but I had people around me who were living this life and im thankful to have stayed out of harms way
My dad's from Downey. Used to live right by that bar, the rim ram.
What a terrible way to go through life .
9:50 The irony of siren in background as he’s telling the story
Think that was added for that purpose
That’s not really irony.
So captivating Johnny is the type of person I'd listen to all day long
His story is captivating. 40 minutes in and it hasn’t dragged for a minute.

Johnny should be asked to do a series of similar interviews, he’s so riveting and intelligent to the point where he could hold audience for hours
Did you hear the part where he said he didn't kidnap the girl, because she didn't obey every command? He thought that they couldn't prosecute him because she disobeyed. He's a fucking imbecile. Good morning Johnny. I love to see your videos because you keep them real. No one understands what we go through and the things we do to survive and help our family and survive also. Take good care of yourself and stay ahead of the game. You’re a good man with a good story, and you’re not the only one there are many of us, including myself. I lost my brother, six years ago to the addiction and trauma from Vietnam. I saw him deteriorate before my eyes because he was self-medicating couldn’t make it to the VA anymore. We’re from Compton and I moved out of my home when I was 13 and I thank God every day. Did he help me make good choices?. luckily, I have come up on top, in my own way, but I sure do feel and know your pain and your struggle and your desire to succeed. Stay strong brother we love you, Gloria.
You're naive as hell
Johnny is a raconteur. Truth and hyperbole hold hands when he shares events. With the eyes closed and the long mane, reminds me of Samson, after being blinded. Either way, be it if that his yarns are complete or somewhat complete, he is a character .. a character indeed. 🎭

I can't get enough of Johnny's stories and his excellent manner in which he tells them. The story about his gun staying hidden in the tree for the 6 years he was locked up is nuts!!!!!
Thanks Johnny, im starting to use the phrase "lo and behold" in every work convo I can

For those who are starting to listen to Johnny I highly recommend just listening to the audio with headphones. For me personally it’s so much better and I can actually be there in the moment throughout his stories.
Marks photography is just beautiful.
One of the best story telller I have heard! I hope he writes a book someday!
I love that he didn't skip a beat when the sirens started.
I know some people complain about the noises from outside but honestly the sirens and everything really helped me visualize the stories he was telling
This man reminds me so much of my Uncle Catfish. Great story teller because he's been through some real shit. RIP Uncle Catfish 🧡
Uncle Catfish🙏🙏🙏
Uncle Catfish was a lame with all that woofing. He wasn't really about none of that unlike 1090 Jake. I love that I can listen to these interviews with my eyes closed.
I’m struck by the commitment he has to fulfilling the purpose of telling his story. He doesn’t skip a beat despite the blaring sirens of emergency response and police calls and a lone angry male voice in the street escalating into a raging spaz attack. Not a problem for Johnnie. He just plans his shit out.
I'm still laughing at your comment....Johnny plans well. Cheers!
Amy, guy in background probably knows him
@@waynesilverman3048 you could be right on that, but Johnnie doesn't seem like a guy with a lot of patience for wild bellering. I say this as evidenced by the panicky dude he brought along for the carjacking/hostage/assassin job who he considered "taking out" for being a whiner. Know Johnnie or not, if I were that guy I'd do my best to settle down.
Damn how is he able to recollect his memories so well.. wish i could tell stories like that
He did time. when you have nothing to do but remember how that day went, what should I've done or not done. You start living in the past and all the details just come to you.
@@alfonzozayas6416 Facts. I could recall most of my craziest stories with so much detail, it’s ridiculous.
Plus, it’s the fact that most criminals are always doing something different every single day.
No two days are the same.
For example, with honest citizens, they do the same thing every single day… Day in and day out…
So, even if something a little bit different happens to them on a couple of those days, it’s easy for them to forget, or, to feel like their days run together… and the result, is simply a lack of detail.
Whereas, a criminals days are so exciting and different, it’s easy to recall that one Sunday when you were THIS CLOSE “ “ to getting pinched and remember every single detail that led up to it.
“Time is so good but yet time is so evil “ I could not stop listening to him talk. His story was very mysterious and magnetizing . I listened to him and couldn’t break away .
Its 4.37am here in new zealand I'm high and listening to Johnny tell his story.
A book would be awesome of his life events, despite his wrong doings Johnny deserves to sleep now with out having glass in the ground , having the thought of state police and people after him , when I was a little boy growing up I always thought these guys are bad people , tattoos drugs smoking alcohol criminal activity , I've spoken to some gangsta people and they got feelings and are human , their bad ' stereo typing attitude is ignorant , there is a reason for our brothers and sisters turn to criminal acts , but a conscious effort in changing them selves is worth a sense of a good night sleep .
BRO WHEN HE SAIS HE GOT AWAY W HIS LADY THAT WAS TGE MOST GANGSTER SHIT EVER , made my heart beart
The honest way I've TRULY come to believe that he's absolutely 💯 telling the truth us that he tells the majority of his tales with his eyes closed. He's truly seeing it in his head and he's talking way to fast and consistent be making this shit up! He's definitely entertaining to listen to because I know that this isn't bullshit! Honestly if there's any bullshit or made up things in these stories they are so small and and unnecessary to even catch or see. Keep em coming johnny!
You absolutely know someone who’s always being real/honest with their stories when they keep bringing facts back from previous stories to tie one another in… I live in the exact same environment but on the east coast.. uptown nyc and when there’s truth to the stories they are often told a certain way with conviction and extreme details like this!!
He isn't lying about jail. I did weekends for probation violation on a drug charge 10 years ago. I learned more in jail from strangers than i learned in my 5 year run in the hood of Detroit. Glad that life is behind me.
Let me guess you were into meth and dating a black guy at that time.
@@MusouBlack i was addicted to heroin from the age of 14 to 20, lived in the suburbs & ran around the hood with my white ex. How's being racist working out for you?
@@danichesney1876 I can't be racist because I'm not white. I suppose it's working better for those who are harassing and assaulting people of my ethnicity weekly these days, especially the woman. However, I am anticipating the opportunity to stand up for the victims but thanks for asking. Heroin is quite hard to quit unless you want a replacement such as methadone or suboxone.
@@MusouBlack guess your 1st comment confused me bc i don't understand the need for your assumptions? Even if my ex had been black what does that have to do with anything? Heroin was hard to quit. I didn't know about suboxone or methadone/medically when i quit 10 years ago. I went to rehab bc i knew i would die if i didn't.
@@danichesney1876 My assumptions were based on two things. Firstly, the popularity of meth among younger people and secondly, if you live in Detroit, which has a predominantly large black population. So i would be surprised if you didn't date a black guy.
There's nothing wrong with that but it sounds like a tough upbringing.
I'm still addicted to opiates because of a bad car accident and I couldn't image going through that at 14. You deserve a lot of praise for being able to overcome an heroin addiction so young. Sorry if I offended you.

Useless.
You would think so but it's an old but real truth that criminals are near always the first to wash out when it gets tough because you need commitment, trust, facing everything head on. In Ukraine the same happened with Foreign Legion and it took some time but all the criminals went away.
These are my favorite type of stories . Details on missions , jail & lifestyle . I don’t condone it but I just like to be amazed about what people do & think . Insane 💯
