(Snow Queen 2 teaser • The Snow Queen 2 // Te... )
Wishing to create a new world where clean lines replace emotions and the polar wind cools human souls, the Snow Queen has blanketed the world in ice and set out to destroy all art. According to the predictions of a magic mirror, the last threat to the Snow Queen comes from the master glass-maker Vegard, whose mirrors reflect not only appearances but also souls. One day the polar wind takes away Vegard and his wife Una. But they manage to hide their baby-boy Kai and daughter Gerda
Time passes, the servant of the Snow Queen finds Gerda's brother Kai, whom he believes to be Vegard's successor. When Kai is abducted to the Snow Queen's palace, Gerda embarks on a journey across the icy wonderland, facing difficult obstacles and finding new friends on her quest to set Kai free, defeat the Snow Queen and warm the hearts of people everywhere.

PEOPLE PEOPLE PLEASE, this movie obviously came out before Frozen. So shut your holes and stop saying that this is a cheap knock off version of Frozen
lolololol I reblogged a post on tumblr saying "Fucking ripoff movies piss me off" Then I did my research and now I know this was made before Frozen. Although Disney had the idea of the snow queen since 1994 but has been constantly scrapped until 2010 so....idk
Marukio good man
maybe frozen is the cheap knockoff .
marsha holt probably... but not cheap
marsha holt 400 000 000 dollar cheap
THIS WAS MADE BEFORE FROZEN!
Sims3loser, The Awkward Simmer because Frozen obviously took more time to make 😄
well this movie is more like the book the snow queen btw frozen was also basted on the snow queen
I guess Frozen Ripped off This 😕
Simmer Q WHAT????????????
Ants was made before a Bugs Life too.
What a great childhood movie..anyone? 2021?
Me
you can't really say "oh, Frozen is better, this is just a cheap ripoff" because the approaches are obviously very different. this follows Anderson's original story much more closely, while Frozen was only loosely based on some aspects of it. With the exception of the setting, the similarities pretty much stop there... let's have a little respect for these artists too -_-
Windy, thanks!
JinFreeks1 Frozen may have changed the story, but you cannot say this has a better story or that it is told better. I don't know if you've seen it, but I went to watch Frozen with my little 7-year-old sister and we both cried because of how much the story pulls you in. You feel the characters grief, joy, fears, anger, love... It's so beautiful and so intense. And the Frozen trailer was really well made. It kept the best parts of the story a surprise. :)
amsaric If the trolls knew that an act of true love will thaw a frozen heart which they've told Anna after she was struck at her heart by her sister Elsa's wintry powers, why didn't the trolls tell that to young Elsa after she struck her sister young Anna at her head with her wintry powers?
amsaric Also, in the song "Let It Go," does it mean
Let killers kill?
Let people poop and pee in public?
Let masters masterbate?
Let stealers steal?
Let cheaters cheat?
Let children disobey to their parents in public?
Let people's diaries be read in public?
Let singers sing in quiet places?
Let privacies be revealed (already done in the Patriot Act)?
Let liars lie?
Let duelers duel in a deadly way than in a sports way?
or other?
Just a thought.
I watched Frozen and it was AMAZING I liked all the songs, but that dosen't mean this one is crap!I mean 2 movies about the Snow Queen and one won 2 oscars that the other is stupid, give it a chance. The Snow Queen isn't bad.
This movie is very underrated. The locales are all very creative, the story is good, and the snow queen's army is actually really cool. In fact, The North Wind is arguably one of the most ingenious things I've ever seen in a movie. Fight me.
Yes yessss but i think everyone seen the first snow queen
Rhe most untreated one is snow queen and the mirrorland which is the best one
I really loved this movie as a kid and was really sad that I wasn't able to see it again.
@@elfdark5480 the mirrorlands was amazinggggggg and the plot was interesting too
@@winxclubflora8446 I know Right 😍 I LOVE Snow Queen's glow up she turns to be so beautiful
And Rollan is BACK
The most underrated adaptation of The Snow Queen, period.
Agreed!
"Defeating a queen and trusting a talking dog?"
"I'm not a dog"
*raises gun*
"Uh, woof"
I don't get it. I truly fell for the the story of snow queen of Hans Christian Anderson. Why would anyone compare that to the new Disney version of Snow Queen "Frozen." I don't call Frozen the same story as Snow Queen. Far from it. I just think its inspired by the story.
I don't consider it that this is the case. Its just my opinion of it.
Please don't kill me (>
It's loosely based off of The Snow Queen. The original script back during The Little Mermaid's time was a lot more true to the story, but they wanted characters more relateable to audiences and to have a not evil queen for once.
Zee Snake Yeah, I know, but when I watched the film and read the story of Snow Queen, I can't say that Frozen is a direct adaptation. Hence, the makers called it frozen. I also know they were trying to make the characters more relateable to the modern audience. This is only a personal opinion that I feel towards this.
Yup. Hence "loosely." I'm in full agreement with you. The only similarities are that there're trolls, and there's a queen that can manipulate ice. But they didn't change the title for that reason. It was also so that the movie could appeal to boys, like how "Rapunzel" was changed to "Tangled."
(=u+) Me agree.
Actually, Tangled deviated from Rapunzel a lot too.
Wizart's adaptation to "The Snow Queen" made an incredible twist compared to the original in modern perspective. Same for Disney's "Rapunzel (Tangled)." I've watched Wizart's Russian version (even Portuguese with English text), and they're very straightforward.
I've been in love with H.C Andersen's original tale for Snow Queen since I was little. In my opinion, I only saw Frozen as a broadway type movie and never thought of Frozen getting their inspiration from H.C Andersen's amazing tale. Frozen was aimed for the modern day people, but it would be cool if Disney followed H.C Andersen's storyline a bit (: other than that, I love the original and Disney version cx
Well, if nothing else, at least no one can accuse this film of being made solely for the purpose of selling more princess merchandise.
Yeah! This film simply sucked because the animation, storyline and interpretation were horrible D
Ana Racic Did you see "Frozen" yet?
Andrew Brinkerhoff
Yes... It was OK... Nothing like "The Lion King", but better than this...
Ana Racic I just watched this version: didn't think it was atrocious, but very episodic and underdeveloped; for all of its flaws, I think "Frozen" still managed to have a progressing storyline that wasn't just a series of mini-adventures one after another.
And about "Frozen" not being "The Lion King": let's face it, TLK was pretty much Disney's peak/magnum opus, I don't think they'll ever reach that same level of quality again; they have been making movies for close to 80 years now, it's relatively impressive they're still able to produce at the very least "OK" films at this point.
Very underated movie, really I mean there are amazing sequences in this film (especially the opening and the final) and the soundtrack is just gorgeous.
Don't you just love it when a movie reveals absolutely everything in the trailer?
This is Wizart Animation's version from Moscow, Russia. It was accomplished on October 22, 2012, before Disney's "Frozen" finished their version by November 27, 2013.
Gawd...me with my head cannons. What if Gerda and Kai are Anna and Kristoff's children. The Snow Queen wakes up from her deep 1000 years slumber and is disgusted by Arendelle's happiness. She uses her powers to bring back eternal winter. Elsa is trying to use her powers against the Snow Queen's but she's not strong enough. She sets out on a journey to find the Snow Queen and stop her. Kai and Gerda, sneak out of the castle and follow Elsa, who falls into a trap and is captured. The Snow Queen then captures Kai too and poor Gerda is left alone. She wants to find her brother and aunt. I'M SORRY. I felt like sharing XD
Elsa IS the snow queen
It's _canon_. Fucking weeb.
Go ahead. I'd definitely read it..XD
@Hai, I'm Annika! You're a savage
I'm glad we are getting all of these different takes on the story of The Snow Queen. Also this film looks like it's going to be closer to the original source material.
Why do people keep comparing this to Frozen?
This was first before Frozen. Frozen is adapted from this movie, please watch the credits of "Frozen" movie ok
General Scrappy Exactly! Obviously Frozen would be better than this, the second draft is always better than the first! (Btw not saying they are drafts just trying to get the point through) :P
k
General Scrappy
No, both this movie and Frozen comes from a old fairytale (1845) from Denmark, that's called The Snow Queen (or "Snedronningen" in danish) and made by H. C. Andersen.
oh lol I'm very confused about these snow queens stories thanks for correcting me, but i wasn't kidding that frozen was adapted from the snow queen story
This is a really great movie :D the animation isn't that bad anyway . So sad that this movie always labeled as the cheap knock off of Frozen ... please people this one is released before Frozen . I do obsessed with Frozen but I also appreciate this one :> for me , both are great (y)
You do realise people are saying this is the 'cheap knock-off' of Frozen because these two animation films are both based on Han's book, the Snow Queen? I believe, for people, it's not a matter of which films were release first. It's how films were both portrayed, differentiation of characters- Frozen's Elsa, and this film's Snow Queen.
Haruhi star This was released before Frozen a year before. This isn't based off Frozen, it's based off the original source, the book.
Please look at the facts.
+Baka - Kun It may have technically came out first but it's obvious the Russians knew Frozen was coming and wanted to cash in on the success early.
No. This is actually based off the book and not the Frozen movie done by Disney. They probably heard about Frozen and wanted their own try at it or it was just a coincidence that these movies came out about the same time.
For those of you who are still looking for the song at 1:35, it is called One Day by Dan Gautreau & Wolfgang Black you're welcome ^^
This movie was finished before Disney's "Frozen." October 22, 2012 is when the production was completed, and at the following year, Disney's "Frozen" did the same. Wizart's version came in the U.S. for the AFM (American Film Market) on November 1, 2012, and in Russian theaters on December 31, 2012. Disney's version came in El Capitan theater on November 22, 2013, and nationwide on November 27, 2013.
People be hating on this because of the animation quality. But realize this. They probably didn't have the luxury and equipment that Disney has. But I still think it's a wonderful film. And stop comparing it to frozen. Need I remind you that frozens villian was a cheap excuse just too end the movie? Don't get me wrong I liked frozen but wish they could of given subtle hints to Hans being evil instead of just throwing him out the window as a "villian" I thought the Duke guy was gonna be the villian of the movie cause of how he acted but nope. So what I'm trying to say is every movie has it's flaws even the most popular movies. So why aruge over which movie is better? Why not let people enjoy what they like? Is that so hard to do?
Thank you, your opinion is very important to us.
The animation in this looks like it belongs in a video game, but not really a movie. Gerda was done pretty well, I like her animation, but I like Frozen much better.
When I saw the movie I loved it but the mouths barely moved
I think that too
***** oh ok, good to know
Can't wait to hear those hit songs "Let Go Of It" and "Would You Like To Build A Man Of Snow"
This came out before frozen but go off
You know what's coincidence between Disney's "Frozen" and DreamWorks Animation's "Rise of the Guardians?" Jack Frost from "Rise of the Guardians" has no problem with his icy powers since he uses it for fun despite that he had a hard time earning recognition from children, until he was confronted by the master of FEAR, Pitch Black (Boogeyman). Elsa from "Frozen" has a hard time controlling her icy powers since her FEAR expands her power.
First i see comments about this movie being a knock off of Frozen. Now i see a dinosaur comparing Jack Frost and Elsa -_- HONESTLY what the hell is wrong with these people
But the film "The Snow Queen" has more coincidences with... surprisingly, "Moana"!!!
Just look to the plots structures and to the roles of the characters)))
Indeed, in both the films, girl goes travelling to return anyone/anything: in "The Snow Queen", Gerda goes to return Kai, while in "Moana", Moana goes on a journey to return Te Fiti's heart. Both the girls (Gerda and Moana) are brave, strong protagonists. And unfortunately, both the girls lose their relatives (Gerda's parents are gone with the wind, while Moana's grandma died).
Gerda's and Moana's fellow travelers (Gerda's is Orm, the troll, Moana's is Maui, the demigod) also have much coincidences. Both the characters are changing during the film, both of them become causers of the travellings (Kai is gone to the Snow Queen because of Orm, while Maui stole Te Fiti's heart), both of them know the way, both of them don't dare to go at once and after all go, both of them are rescued by the main characters (Gerda saves Orm from fall into lake Gao, while Moana saves Maui from Tamatoa). Both of them demonstrated their ability to turn (Orm turned into the weasel and into the polar bear, while Maui turned into anything). Moreover, both the fellow travelers are not only one: Gerda also has Luta, the weasel, while Moana has Heihei, the chicken (both are the pets).
In "The Snow Queen" and in "Moana", the characters meet the pirates, go into the caves, but the adventures change almost nothing on the way.
After all, the characters meet the main antagonists (in "The Snow Queen" it's the Snow Queen, while in "Moana" it's Te Kā). Both of them become the last and decisive obstacle on the way, both of them are defeated by the main characters with the similar methods (Gerda shows the mirror, while Moana shows the heart). Moreover, both of them are only evil guises of the good characters (the Snow Queen is evil guise of Irma, while Te Kā is evil guise of Te Fiti).
And that's only the plot and the characters, but the details also have coincidences: for example, boats in "Moana" look like the boat the Lady of Lapland had in "The Snow Queen".
I got this movie for Christmas and I really liked it. It is AWESOME!
since we all compare and give names to the movie ...i'm go with uummmm
Narnia alternate version? ;P xD
Passerby Tanuki lol they do have many similarities
I like to call this "The movie that has such bad lip syncing there's already a scene 15 minutes in where someone's lips stop moving before the stop speaking."
Its a russian film, the voices are added on later
Anderson’s stories make me proud to be a part Danish among many other bloodlines. (I’m a children’s book writer/ illustrator.) Also that troll Wasn’t in the text, but he share last some features of the trolls from Norwegian folklore. (Sort of.)
The story looks good since it's about a girl who will do anything to save her brother but the voice acting didn't made me feel the story. If the voice acting was good, this would have been a great movie...
They weren't siblings in the original story.
I love how everyone in the comments is having a literal WAR-
Personally, I prefer Frozen over this movie.
Frozen made you attatch yourself to a character who was essentially relatable to some people... A girl who hates herself for what she is...
But that’s not to say this movie wasn’t good, sure it had some animation synicing issues, but that doesn’t erase the fact that this movie did have a touching story and was closer to the original tale.
I feel bad now for thinking that this was just a cheap version of Frozen, it's actually a really fun looking movie by its own merits! Also I like that heroine better than Anna :/
frozen is actaully based on the snow queen by hans christan anderson so yeah disney love to screw stuff up
Natalie J. Saroff
loosely based on Anderson's work, this one looks like it has more relatively quality to what he wrote because here the snow queen is evil, Elsa according her movie is not
which is why i dislike frozen
exactly, the only way it relates to the original tale and concept of the tale is by her powers.
Disney has ruined a great fairy tale before, the little mermaid also by Hans Christian anderson (who let me just point out who is the villian in frozen hans) they screwed that story up too
This didn't "COPY" Frozen, Frozen was based off THIS.
Um no it wasnt?! Both Frozen and this were adapted of the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale "The Snow Queen", which was written in the 1800 I'm pretty sure. And Frozen has been being made for like 10 - 15 years or something... :) FYI
TheRaven Willow Also the "White Witch" from "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was inspired by that tale too! :D
Really? Makes sense haha! I know that the rest of The Lion, With and the Wardrobe was based on the story of Jesus and his reserection and that stuff...
"Featuring hit songs such as 'Let go of it' and 'Would you like to construct men from snow'!"
Not to mention "Feelings of affection are open gateways" and "Broken item that needs fixing"
xXhunter47Xx Also "People are not as good as trolls" and "During the season after Winter"
But... there's "Flashlight"!
It is a beautiful movie!
Believe me.. such a best adventurous and comedy series... don't miss it .. I'm lovin it
omg Kai is my favorite name! lol
My school planned to make a theater of this "Snow Queen" but they changed some parts and characters of the story.. They said it was inspired by this movie and my role is _Gerda_ .. im rlly nervous bcause it's on Saturday already
ILLUMINATI COMFIRMED
1) The snow queen was actually frozen
2) 0:41 "Let it go, Let it gooooooo"
3) 1:00 'A brave girl' named Anna
4) 1:04 'On a heroic journey' together with olaf that deer and that blonde one
5) 1:42 'Against a cold evil' God damn you Elsa
6) 1:46 Doesn't that deer look like someone familliar ?
7) 2:01 Waddaya think ?
8) *Random blank option*
9) Please proceed to the next one...
10) The end
Yet, I think this will be obviously better than Frozen
Elsa has growned up .
+Dark Reaper just letting you know that this film came out before Frozen...
EyeOfTheLauren I realized that months ago (few months later I posted this comment)
I liked this movie way more than frozen, frozen broke out in song every 3 minutes. I watched this on netflix and really liked it. Thumbs up.
So many people are complaining about Disney 'ripping off' this film to make Frozen, but it's simply not true. The Snow Queen is a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen written in 1844. This is a retelling of it, far from being the first film made of the story and will not be the last. Disney's Frozen was loosely based on the story, but the characters names and the actual story was re-written to suit. Disney was doing what they do best - FAIRY TALES! like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, etc. My favourite version of The Snow Queen was a stop-motion live animation made by the BBC in 2005.
What kind of jar jar is that nosey thing?
This feels like a cross between Frozen and Narnia the lion the witch and the wardrobe
This looks interesting! Much closer to the original story. I'll watch this.
That trailer is fantastic! It would be nice to see it available in the U.S. release! And the Snow Queen herself, out of this world!
It's so funny how quick people to jump on this movie because it was based off the same story Frozen was based on. I'm going to admit that this movie is not as good COMPARED to Frozen, but consider the facts:
This movie was made by this obscure Russian company that literally no one heard of. They're on an extremely tight budget, so they can't risk to try to get high-class voice actors, writers/editors, and animators like big-shot companies like Disney can. Also, the voice acting in this movie was quite bad because the original dub was in Russian before being translated/dubbed over. This movie's total budget was only $7million while Frozen's was $150million. Even though Frozen earned almost 1.28 Billion (because they had the funds to ADVERTISE PROFUSELY and probably kids go see this like 15 times a day), this movie got $14million in the box office, with restrictions on how much they can advertise. The amount they got is twice the amount of their budget, that's a little under decent considering that this movie was made by such an obscure company and the fact that Russia doesn't make a lot of movies. Sure it's not the best animated movie, but okay. Just okay.
So stop comparing this movie to Frozen, it should stand alone. WizartAnimation is nothing compared to Disney and the makers of this considered this quite a success (actually it was somewhat popular in the eastern side of the world, not America though). It was somewhat of a success for such a small company (1million views on their trailer UA-cam is quite impressive too) The company now is making a sequel and is happily making enough money and may even improve in the future. Who knows, WizartAnimation may even be the next LucasEntertainment in the future.
Reemphasize the fact that this movie is NOT a cheap knock-off of Frozen because unless WizartAnimations are actually real 'wizarts' and can see into the future that Frozen was a success and decided to copy it even before the Frozen was even released/made, then I'm not sure how this would be a knock-off when it's released one year before Frozen was ._.
Think about that for a second...
Is the original Russian dub with English subtitles available anywhere?
i like the 2002 version lol it made me cry
Oh my, Gerda looks adorable!
how did this movie get three sequels but yet I've never heard of it before.
also this movie is not a rip off of frozen, in fact the frozen movie was heavily inspired by these movies
even if its to the point of itself being a form of plagiarism, if you don't agree that a Disney movie could ever
be a rip off then just remember that Kimba the white lion was made before the lion king was.

I thought I made this movie up omg?? How come it’s so underrated like that
Something occured to me that few people are noticing. This is a fairytale movie in which a girl actually saves a boy instead of a prince saving a helpless damsel.
This is based on the snow queen. Frozen isn't.
I love snow queen so much😭
Wizart's "The Snow Queen" just got 85% of positive reviews from Russian audiences as of January 31, 2013. I've read it on a Russian article.
Honestly if an adaptation of The Snow Queen is going to be done I'm going to be willing to bet that Tim Burton will be the one to do it. Helena Carter will be the Snow Queen while Johnny Depp and some random British actress will play the lead protagonist. Yep I can see it now.
And again I say to you, I've watched Wizart's version in Russian and Portuguese. And in my opinion again, Wizart ALMOST reached to Disney's level in stories, but NOT the animation.
I love both Wizart's "The Snow Queen" (2012 - present) series and Disney's "Frozen" (2013 - present) series.
It's already out. It's out for rental on Amazon, rental on Vudu, and pay-per-view like Charter and other cable networks (but NOT DirecTV and other satellites). I've rented it on Amazon that get to watch it for 7 days. I liked the animation better, but not the English soundtrack. It sounded like that it was improvised than putting up a good effort.
In my opinion, ONLY for the animation. For the story, I must agree that Disney's "Frozen" takes the story differently. But Wizart's "The Snow Queen" takes the story directly in modern perspective.
I think this is not "Frozen" thing. Seems like the snow queen is from Narnia Movie. :)
You can’t say this is a frozen ripoff because this came first than Frozen, Frozen came in 2013 and Snow queen in 2002 and for those days this was actually a really good movie
Wizart's "The Snow Queen" just got another international release in the Netherlands. It will be released on October 9, 2013. I've read it on their IMDb under "Release Info."
Well, I got a chance to watch Disney's "Frozen" last Tuesday night, and there are two errors.
1. Why didn't Elsa use her other hand with her GLOVE on instead of her bare hand which revealed her icy powers?
2. If the the trolls knew that love would defrost a frozen heart and overcome fear (maybe), why didn't they tell that to Elsa instead of Anna (of course, she does need to learn true love anyway)? Also, provide training for Elsa to control her fear with love? Maybe then, she would have no fear and live happily ever after with Anna.
Even if the movie does have lessons about love at first sight being a dangerous consequences sometimes and getting to know more before making marriage, but it did not provide enough depth to the story. It paid too much attention on the emotions between Elsa and Anna, plus the songs were showy, except "For the First Time since Forever" and a little bit of "Let It Go." But that's just my opinion.
This version remained very truthful to the fairy tale, even if Verente Films and Salami Studios (the companies that created the English version for this movie) destroyed the movie with an improvised English dialogue than putting up a good effort (Why do I get the feeling that Disney paid big money to keep this movie out of recognition?).
1. Well in which situation do u mean? I think I know it, and Elsa did it in an emotional moment. And in such a moment, u cant control ur actions.
2. At the time, when Elsa was taken to the trolls, she was a child. So, she couldn't understand much about "real love" maybe. And maybe the trolls didn't tell much more, cause maybe they didn't know more about this ability at this time.
I liked the movie and I like the original story as well. I think you have to remember that there are a lot of movies that are based on the stories and sometimes the best movies difer from the original piece as well (though those are rare) I've learned that when movies come out from old story tales to not expect them to be as such but instead enjoy a new version of the story. Just like authors do all the time. Why not enjoy it like that instead.
BEFORE FROZEN
I like the part where Luta attacks Orm by his leg. Look how fast she can attack!
Mom, can we buy Frozen?

I completely forgot that these movies existed until I heard a song from one of the movies on the radio.
December 31, 2013 in Moscow, Russia. To know more release dates, just visit Snow Queen (2012) under IMDb, and click the release dates. Their next international release date will be in the Netherlands on October 9, 2013.
Nice russian movie
I will take the 2012 snow queen over frozen any day
Frozen looks animation and quality wise much better! This is Disney, after all. + Frozen will have songs too.
But this one wins points for sticking much much closer to the original story, and keeps many of the female plot characters from the original story.
So both got their good and bad sides.
IT'S OFFICIAL! Wizart's "The Snow Queen" has received an independent U.S. distributor called Vertical Entertainment.
I wonder how many views this video would have if Frozen were never made...
Haven't seen the dub yet, but I did see this in Russian with subtitles and I have to say this film is ten times better than Frozen. Seriously, I'm a huge Disney fan and have been my entire life (30+ years) and when a comparatively cheap foreign film manages to be better than a big-budget Disney blockbuster, you know there's a problem.
The sad thing is, Disney actually does have a terrific Princess series going with Sofia The First but it seems like they don't promote it as much as they should. Maybe that's for the best. Let it run quietly in the background, doing it's own thing, being awesome for the real Disney fans while the idiots build snowmen.
+bartsimpson83, I watched this in Russian too (just because I understand Russian). The troll (Acted by Ivan Ohlobistin, he really brings a lot) made this movie for me.. Also it feels like the troll was made specially and only for this voice actor. I'm going to listen other subs as well, but not sure if they will be as good as the first one.
Agree, Disney just threw lot of money into PR thus Frozen is much more popular :\
Just listened Orm's voice (english sub), and it's awful
This is Wizart's version, which was completed on October 22, 2012. They have presented their version on November 1, 2012 at the AFM (American Film Market) at AMC Santa Monica 7 in Santa Monica, CA, and received positive reviews from international buyers, including the U.S. In May 2013, they've received an independent U.S. distributor Vertical Entertainment at the Marché du Film festival (part of the Cannes Film Festival). The U.S. release is yet to be determined either this year or next.
man, that little monsters voice was annoying me by the end of the trailer, couldn't imagine watching the hole film.
Gerda and Kai are not, I repeat, *_NOT_* supposed to be siblings. If you are going to adapt a classical fairy tale, then for FUCK'S SAKE adapt it properly!
SamVision I hope you're not a fan of Frozen then
***** Frozen is not even called "The Snow Queen" and I do not consider it an adaptation. To me Frozen is an original story loosely inspired by The Snow Queen.
I saw this movie yesterday. While it had a good story and good premise and all it, sadly lacks in the voice acting and animation department. Overall it's an okay film personally I prefer Frozen over this.
You're my man
Ray Chow of course you prefer frozen over this, you have elsa in your prof pic
The reason why the voice acting is bad is because the movie was originally Russian.
seriously people, grow up! stop comparing, it's up to you to like either one or another, they have spent lots of money and effort to do their movie, you don't have to criticize badly just because you prefer the latest version so. if you dislike it just press the unlike button =)
Disney's adaptations never honor the original stories because if they did it would be too depressing. I like the disney versions of all their fairytales, it brings hope and happy endings, not to forget humour to their movies.
they even kept the same names from the original of snow queen
I'm very sorry but I'm writing from google translator because I'm Italian. however I prefer Frozen. is the most beautiful of the Snow Queen. greetings from Italy
I already mentioned the new trailer from Disney's "Frozen" 4 days ago. Plus, it has Elsa and Anna singing at the last half of the trailer.
I've watched the English version of Wizart's "The Snow Queen," the animation is fine but the English soundtrack sounded like that it was improvised than putting up a good effort.
Now I want to watch this...
This is batter than FROZEN
honestly these comments.. clearly it's not the best animated movie out there but to say that it's 'just a bad knockoff of frozen' is beyond stupid because a. it was released first and b. it had a far, far lower budget.
I literlly want to wach this but I can’t find anywhere to wach it I rimemebered that me and my cousen use to wach this movie i miss those kinds of movies
Quite true.
Anyone here now 😁
Omg. Stop saying ooh this looks like Frozen and this is a cheap Frozen. I am getting SICK of people keep saying that, and I am sure lots of people will agree.
This is the movie that inspired Frozen guys, it did come out first.
Frozen was inspired by the story "The Snow Queen". But the story line in Frozen is completly different from "The Snow Queen", therefore, it's not copying it. It was just an inspiration. Just like how Tangled was inspired from Rapunzel. Tangled is different than Rapunzel because Rapunzel in the original story wan't born a princess, and she didn't have magical hair.
To be honest I'd rather watch this than Frozen lmao
+ヤンデレ王子(V) Same.
did i just...ship the siblings?!
thats probably because something told you that they were not biology related in the original story. so probably even when they said they were siblings in this version they couldn't eliminate the romantic love they feel for each other. you can't just expect to eliminate romantic love by saying they are family if you don't change the story a little more
you would, if you saw the third movie.
Does anyone know what song is played at the end of this trailer ?
Wait I thought frozen was released earlier and this was kind of a cheap knock off until I released that it’s the Opposite 😭 I really loved this movie
