I went to see this with my daughter, parents and grandma and knew nothing about the movie and I was floored with how good it was. We were all laughing and crying. I am going again because I loved it that much 😂
I watched it for my birthday and girl it was better than Toy Story 4 the drive-in movie I went to see for my 8th birthday me and my brother got these matching Toy Story shirts from the Disney store. And wow it was so funny to and also actually confusing to like I don't get are they allowed to go to water elements I like didn't really get why they got mad I'm like it's just water. Don't you need water to live? But I like it a lot it also made my mom cry like it made me cry I also thought Wade did die but turns out he didn't then I had happy tears after.
Every time there's a new movie trailer from Pixar, my inner child will come out and be leaping for joy. Every single time! Oh, it's so good to feel like a child again.
I might not care much for the story, but this is probably one of *if* not, the most visually pleasing and beautiful movies that Pixar has made which makes it all the more worth to watch it.
The story seems somewhat basic but i think thats cuz unlike most trailers it doesnt just give away the entire plot of the film. The footage weve seens prob only from the first half of the film
This movie really hit home for me. I’m Iranian and my family and I were new immigrants to Canada 26 years ago and adjusting to a new country was really difficult. My parents really struggled to find work (they did eventually find good jobs. My mom was a teacher at a daycare and my dad was a mechanical engineer). I really didn’t understand the extent of it since I was so young (I was 8 and my brother was 4). I’m 34 now and imagining how difficult it must have been for my parents and how they sacrificed everything for us to have a better life here. This movie really touched me. I’m crying just writing this. Thank you Pixar for making a movie dedicated to immigrants and how hard life is for them in new country. My parents are still alive and well to this day and I never go a day without telling them how much I love and appreciate what they’ve done for me and my little brother.
You ever think that the reason those countries give a better way of life is because they were developed by people that had nothing to do with the culture that your parents decided to abandon?
I love this movie so much everything they did with the characters, playing with the capabilities and the physics of the different elements and how this affects how elements interact with one another its all so creatively executed. Wade and ember’s relationship development is also so sweet to follow along and the “i love you despite all” type of love will always be a soft spot for me. Ill fight anyone who says its “mid” or its a flop
I don’t think I’m 100% sold on the story, but the animation and the creative ways these characters interact with the world will still be worth it for sure
Its the same story told through a different lense. Its the lover from different social circles, sides of the track, race, political ideologies, religions, regions, esc its all the same its literally never changed in hundreds of years except how its portrayed in the cultural importance of the time it was made think dirty dancing versus Romeo and juliet two stories both the same one took alot from the other but the cultural stigmas were way different for the times.
This is the kind of quality I expect from Disney and Pixar to make. I'm glad to finally get a movie that goes back to being imaginative with its characters and its world building. I definitely look forward to seeing Ember and Wade in the big screen come release day.
@Mr Fish I don't think it's the start of a new Disney Renaissance, but it's certainly a step in the right direction. I just hate that we had to sit through so much garbage just to get it.
I also agree this looks cool, but did you forget about Soul and Luca? Those were original films, and both were great, with Soul being one of Pixar's best films. I honestly think Lightyear and the announcement of some future films make some people forget that Pixar still has made more original films in the last few years.
@@mrfish.- what breath of fresh air? there was soul and luca, encanto and turning red. if anything, disney and pixar have been producing absolute bangers with their animation departements
I went into this movie with the lowest of expectations since a loud minority were saying this was a terrible movie. Gosh were they wrong. This movie was very charming, and a very relatable film for many people from different walks of life. It was clever and a bit funny as well. I hope they make a sequel!
Pixar usually delivers these days. The worst they've made in the last few years was still a decent watch just not memorable, like Onward and Lightyear.
I don’t know if this is going to be good or not, but I just love how each of the element people move. -The vibrations, jiggles, and bubbles in the water people -The cloud streaks left behind by the air people -The shifting of the leaves and grass on the earth people -The way the flames wave with the motion of the fire people I think this movie has some good potential. I just hope that its as good as it looks. ua-cam.com/video/ANo9JTH54Kc/v-deo.html
I LOVED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH!! Every single scene, the story, the colors, the music, ALL the characters ... I cried like a baby so many times and loved every single minute of it. This is going to be my comfort watch for years to come, I know.
what would instantly make this even more original would be if they dont end up as a romantic pairing in the end, they just stay friends. Platonic stories can be beautiful and emotional too!
The thing that I'm most excited about is the fact that all of the elements interact really well in their world, like water always wanting to be near, well, water. Fire changing color by touching the crystals is also amazing!
Loved the movie, I went to an inclusive room with kids and teenagers with autism and the way everyone in the room could experiencie every moment of the movie was amazing. Im going to watch it again in the cinema. Disney and Pixar do it again, continue amazing me for life please.
originality ? hmm idk it seems kinda ...generic ? Water boy and Fire girl don't let others decide who you are all seems very baisic to me at least from the trailer but I hope it will somehow suprisee me 😊
This movie was so beautiful in many ways and it really touched my heart. I’m sad people underestimated it and didn’t give it a chance. It’s more than just a cliché love story.
As an adult of almost 25 years that I am, must confess it was way profound and emotional than expected. In a good sense. I simply couldn't hold my tears 🥲❤
I'm not entirely sure about the story and characters yet, but the animation looks INCREDIBLE and even if it does suck it'll still be worth seeing to see how far animation has come Edit: WHY SO MANY LIKES this is crazy
I always watch Pixar/Disney movies no matter how lame they are. This one doesn't look awesome but it does look "worth watching". It is always interesting to see what creativity and randomness Disney can come up with. I'm mostly looking froward to Wish.

This movie is one of the best I have seen. Something new and refreshing! And gave me a good gentle cry too! A kind of comforting feel to it too, with great graphics and designs. Will be a treat to watch back 😊
I didn’t expect to cry watching this movie. This animation made me emotional, amazing how a great story and believable facial expressions can bring so much life to water and fire. 😰
I love this movie so much!! This is probably the best animation that disney has created in my opinion!! This movie is so touching and adorable!! Not to mention it is so beautiful
Soul, onward, wall e , Luca, Lightyear , boss baby, Arthur Christmas, lorex and Frozen are equally brilliant and beautiful. Elemental was equally 🔥 👌 💯 ❤️ 😍
I love this movie, I already included it in my list of favorite movies, each character is so unique and teaches you something, it is an incredible movie and the soundtrack makes you vibrate. Keep making these kinds of films Pixar, we love it.
This actually looks a lot better than I expected. The way they animated the character Ember feels sort of 2D?? (especially how they animate her face throughout the trailer and at 0:11). I'm surprised that Wade is the character that convinces Ember to explore outside of her comfort zone and not the other way around, which is really cool. The plot doesn't feel super original, but I'm kind of excited for this movie now!
i have this feeling that she looks a little 2D in that part because she's going to have this character development thing happen where her perspective of the world in the beginning is 2-dimensional and she only sees things as they are but she'll eventually find out more about her world with wade and she'll eventually become more of a 3D character
I watched with low expectations and I loved it. Pixar with the imagery world building is always my favourite. The story was nice too, it would be even better if they make the movie longer and allow it to be more abundant
I wish the would do that with more movies. I'd like to see many movies be more around 3 hours. Fill in the details. And then that gives us something to do more entertaient

I watched Elemental with my daughter and wife this weekend with high expectations because of this trailer 3 months ago. This was such an intense emotional journey with so much meaning. I am just grateful, thank you so much for this masterpiece!
Love the movie! The city looks beautiful. It represents the US which has diversity and immigrants from all over the world. Also , the hot-tempered fire suits very well with the emotional, sensitive, soft-hearted water in terms of personality. And again, the same message as all the other movie, life is too short, you should explore the world while you can and enjoy life, well executed and delivered through this story. Surely can feel how they are truly living a life in this movie!
I absolutely LOVE the animation here. It’s super gorgeous! Every character has an unique art style and the world looks so colorful, expressive and vibrant. The story looks cute too. I can’t wait to see this one in theaters. Pixar and Dreamworks are the kings of 3D animation.
It's been five months since the movie was released in theaters, and it's still making money. Now (November 20), "Elemental" has 495.85 Million Worldwide. Just wow. That was a powerful Word of Mouth.
@@tehdouglas1 The worst Pixar movie can be called Lightyear! The good dinosaur came out not bad, but average. Turning Red it turned out to be a masterpiece! He is capable of bringing to tears.😭

I see everyone saying 'i've predicted the plot's but really, no one did, do you really think Pixar is stupid enough to spoil the entire movie, plus if you watch other promotional material, you will see " to save the world" so there is a much deeper plot
i shed a tear 😭😭😭 the love is wholesome, wade being transparent of his personality and love. ember and wade’s comparability even if they’re completely opposite 😭 i love this movie 😭😭
I liked the third act where the water man says, “I like the word moist, okay? It’s who I am, and if you can’t accept that, then what’s the point?” Best part of this movie of all time.

WOW I’m surprised more people aren’t disappointed. From the trailer I can tell the whole plot. What ever happened to heart wrenching, unique, and innovative Pixar. All of their beats have unique stories with unique messages and characters. This looks like ever love story to exist but colorful. Looks visually pretty but emotionally dry
yeah I wasn't expecting much but I am still disappointed. This looks more like something a wannabe Pixar studio made and not Pixar itself. The magic is just not there anymore.
Characters designs are incredible. An excellent fusion on 3D and 3D gives elementals are "drawn" appearance and yet they also have a solid build. I am going to enjoy this movie. Pixar is getting better with every year.
the thing that bugs me about the movie is the story is so obvious Ember & Wade fall in love the people are not gonna like it because of the "elements cant mix" rule but in the end everyone is going to except it even if they dont like it but the animation & the different elements looks so amazingly beautiful that even though the story is predictable i might watch it because of the beautiful animation Edit: i have never been so happy to be wrong about a movie WOW this movie was beautiful, gorgeous animation LOVED Ember & Wade's chemistry i loved how Wade lit his candle with Ember's light reflecting off himself genius i loved how Ember's color changed when she stepped on those crystals that was beautiful their little dance was beautiful just everything about this movie was beautiful

The romance was top notch. And may be cliché but has a heart. I saw a little of myself and my dad in Amber's and his father' relationship. Beautiful movie ❤
The film took 7 years to make both in the studio and at home. Story Artist Jason Katz shared that the story team finished their part while working remotely at home. Elemental just wrapped. The final frame was just approved Friday, March 24, 2023. Sohn noted that he had tears in his eyes when wrapping - which also shows how similar Sohn is to Wade (who shows emotion very often in the film).
Oh my goodness, Disney are soooo good in ultra extreme graphics when it comes to 3D animations This is a total work of art, wow they even animated the hardest elements to animate 3 dimentionaly into real beings . This should be lots of work and efforts , Disney still remains the best🎉🎉🎉
To this day even with everything Disney owns and creates; live action tv shows, feature films, etc.. nothing will ever compare to their animation studios. That’s where their magic truly shows.
loved this movie way more than I expected. I wasn't expecting anything really! my sister just dragged me along with her kids and wow I ended up really really loving this story❤
The people saying its a terrible movie clearly cannot relate to it. It is not just a "dont want to follow parents' footsteps" trope. It's a story about the tradegy of leaving everything/everyone you know and love for better opportunities. the broken english of the dad, having to survive in a city not built for them and all the intercultural intricacies general Americans do not have to think about. But to see it represented in media, especially in one as big as Pixar means a lot to others.

@@xsmamb0357 oooh i really hope so! cuz right now the story just looks so bland imo
Access to better countries isn't a human right. Why couldn't your parents make it work in your home country?
You ever think that the reason those countries give a better way of life is because they were developed by people that had nothing to do with the culture that your parents decided to abandon?
I love this movie so much everything they did with the characters, playing with the capabilities and the physics of the different elements and how this affects how elements interact with one another its all so creatively executed. Wade and ember’s relationship development is also so sweet to follow along and the “i love you despite all” type of love will always be a soft spot for me. Ill fight anyone who says its “mid” or its a flop

i think its similar to Romeo and Juliet
@@fr1bble278 - I thought the same; very Romeo & Juliet vibes with the star-crossed lovers story.
I’ll just watch it for the visual. Don’t see the plot being its strongest front since how simple it is imo. Basically an elemental Romeo and Juliet.

The characters animation style is so unique. I think we never had such an animation in pixar's movie before. It's so creative, good job guys!

The people saying its a terrible movie clearly cannot relate to it. It is not just a "dont want to follow parents' footsteps" trope. But to see it represented in media, especially in one as big as Pixar means a lot to others.
