Also, if he could walk that well (even run, after a fashion) then why did he stay behind in the forest? And, finally - why was it called Sticks?

One of the best I've seen recently. The setting, the isolation, and the "creature comforts"... And one of my favorite things is, you gave a great payoff ... for just a second, I got optimistic that the boyfriend had something up his sleeve. Great Job !!
Somebody told me that those poleroid cameras are making a comeback . Loved this film the acting was good both actors did a very good job plus i liked the location i like rhe woods myself its always good to do some exploring thanks to the cast and crew for putting this together

Eeeek! Is the sticker 'The Duch Hut'? an inside joke too? The DUTCH Hut is a famous restaurant & these ghouls/demons sure seem hungry. :)

Not a good choice to have so many poorly lit night shots in the woods, they look awful, too blue and flat. These should always be kept to an absolute minimum during the writing process. The opening shots in full daylight show you're using a very good camera but those poorly lit night shots do you no favors. The male lead should've had a torch then at least he would've been well lit.
