Fun fact about the Superman twist: The prisoner who gives Superman his shirt is heavily implied to be Kamandi, the Last Boy on Earth. The animated short that was paired with this movie is also Kamandi. Although it had a different art style, it ended with him being given the savior's (Superman) shirt so he could find him and give it to him, in order to prevent the apocalyptic future that's the setting for the short.

During Superman's takedown of the invasion planes, I love the heavy implication of the original Superman from the 30s and 40s doing more extreme leaping than flying. The flying came very shortly, mind you but remember the "able to leap the tallest buildings" was very true.

This one I loved so much. It highlighted the JSA so nicely. While Stargirl tv show showed teases of them in Flashbacks but this film really fleshed out the storyline for them finally.
Smallville did it first in live-action with the great Absolute Justice episode that originally aired in a 2 hour block. It already happened as far as fleshing them out in an adaptation.
Chris Diamantopoulos voicing Jay Garrick is what I thought and kind of sounded like him. I like how this film really highlighted Garrick and Allen finally working side by side.
I highly recommend watching Marvel animated films as well, especially Hulk Vs. Wolverine, Hulk Vs. Thor, Planet Hulk and Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme.
Matthew Mercer also the voice of Tygra in the Thundercats reboot that aired on Cartoon Network. Such a good show and they canceled due to not getting enough toy sales lol.
FYI the Mind Controlling "Advisor" who was the villain at the end is apparently Roger Halstead. The identity of the Original villan "Psycho-Pirate" Halstead was essentially a regular guy who based his crimes around the concept of emotions, much like how Riddler does it around puzzles (A more well Known version of Psycho Pirate, Roger Hayden has the power to control people emotions through his facial expressions and is a key character usually whenever DC reboots a universe
Wonder Woman was part of the Justice Society. They actually polled readers on whether she should be a member. Later, they said the WW during WW2 was Queen Hippolyta.
She was the JSA’s secretary when she joined and didn’t become a real member until later in the original series. She wasn’t allowed to be part of it even as an “active member” since she had her solo comic.
Wonder Woman was made to be part of the JSA in this movie due to corporate synergy when the plan was 5G in the comics with her as the first superhero of the DC universe who helped found the JSA.
Honestly I'm loving the Tomorrowverse. Hopefully DC doesn't just throw it out like it's other ideas. This movie has the best Flash and Wonder Woman action scenes to this day. The fact the art style resembles Man Of Tomorrow can't be a coincidence. I think this might be tied to a new universe they're doing.
It’s ending next year with Crisis on Infinite Earths. That movie was being made before James Gunn took over. It doesn’t have the best Wonder Woman and Flash action scenes. Brainiac, Sinestro, and Hal are all wasted in this universe. It’s a lot of missed potential. So you start by saying you’re loving the Tomorrowverse acknowledging it’s a universe. Then end by saying the art style matching Man of Tomorrow can’t be a coincidence and it might tied to a universe. It’s literally the Tomorrowverse that you’re aware of so what are you talking about? What is the confusion?
Sadly its endeing very soon with an animated Crisis on Infinite Earth.....so soon and not even its 7th film and thus tomorrowverse is canceled.....but its to put even the animated in Jamea Gunns DC Universe

Hey guys, just so there is no confusion regarding John and Coy's reactions to DC animated movies I just wanted to let you know that the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) is the one that is consisted of Batman The Animated Series, Batman Mask of the Phantasm, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, Superman The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman, Batman Beyond, Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, Static Shock, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. It is the only continuity that is referred to as the DCAU. The other animated films are either in their own continuity that is not called the DCAU or just stand alone that are not in a named universe.
The DCAMU are the movies they are currently watching I just wished they would see my comments cause again they are still out of order here missing John Constantine house of mystery I guess your going in order of release date just hope you guys remember the little details that’s all house of mystery is about and the more movies you watch the more little details you will miss

Being a Railfan I instantly recognized the steam locomotive lifted up at the start of the film. It is a New York Central Dreyfuss Hudson. One of the most iconic steam locomotives of the late 1930s. They were built in 1938, so their inclusion makes sense timeline wise. Despite how much of an icon they were during the Artdeco Era, none of them survived.

You have Tim Daly & Kevin Conroy reunited and a ton of rogues, great hero appearances, and CCH Pounder back as Amanda Waller! Also recommend Superman vs. The Elite, All Star Superman, Wonder Woman 2009, and some others that skips my mind right now but I highly recommend giving Public Enemies a watch.

I'm really liking the art style on this one. The previous JL animated films (Apokolips War story arc) felt like a half assed anime style but this looks smooth, original and I love it.
Absolutely love this movie! So great to see Barry as the main character again. Showing the JSA as from another Earth is very in line with the pre crisis continuity but in a different way. The fight scenes were great as well as the characterizations of the other characters. Love the plot & emotion also it teases bigger things to come. The first 3 movies of the Tomorrowverse are fantastic
This was SUPER good, I hadn’t watched it before and seeing y’all go through it made me view it before seeing the reaction, and it was amazing. Can’t wait for all the animated reactions (DC or Marvel, just give me more coy and John buddy reactions!!)
While there are only 3 movies left in this universe (with at least one more coming out) there is a also a collection of 3 shorts on Max that are connected to this universe (one of which connects the DCAMU to this one and confirms Constantine’s existence in the Tomorrow-verse)
I remember there being a thing once with Jay and Barry where they were splitting the Speed force between them making them both slower. They've since resolved that issue, but I have zero idea how. I mean Barry and Wally also share the Speed Force and they're just fine. Also there's Bart. AND Thawne (although Thawne may be an exception as he taps into a negative Speed Force).
I don’t know why, but, I’ve always head canon’ed Wonder Woman as having thick fingers. Like…bratwursts. Big ‘Ol sausages. I like to think Iris would be wearing that ring around her wrist. Best to have it resized.

I thought this one was really good and the twist was something I didn’t see coming with that reveal. The mustache was hilarious, but I really didn’t like that Brainiac was wasted in this universe. There’s just a lot of missed potential in this universe with the Green Lantern movie being especially egregious.

Also this movie actually draws Diana like the image of an Amazon. She HUGE. That's the imagery one SHOULD expect when hearing the word Amazon. Sure Gal Gadot is pretty and all, but she's slim and petite; definitely NOT Amazonian in stature.

The New Frontier is a Justice League origin story set in the Cold War and it’s hands down my favorite dc comic book, the movie is excellent

I'm really liking the art style on this one. The previous JL animated films (Apokolips War story arc) felt like a half assed anime style but this looks smooth, original and I love it.

Seriously though, I know Superman is the big hitter, but the amount of things the flash can and could do if of the charts good or bad.

Absolutely love this movie! So great to see Barry as the main character again. Showing the JSA as from another Earth is very in line with the pre crisis continuity but in a different way. The fight scenes were great as well as the characterizations of the other characters. Love the plot & emotion also it teases bigger things to come. The first 3 movies of the Tomorrowverse are fantastic
This was SUPER good, I hadn’t watched it before and seeing y’all go through it made me view it before seeing the reaction, and it was amazing. Can’t wait for all the animated reactions (DC or Marvel, just give me more coy and John buddy reactions!!)
While there are only 3 movies left in this universe (with at least one more coming out) there is a also a collection of 3 shorts on Max that are connected to this universe (one of which connects the DCAMU to this one and confirms Constantine’s existence in the Tomorrow-verse)

I remember there being a thing once with Jay and Barry where they were splitting the Speed force between them making them both slower. They've since resolved that issue, but I have zero idea how. I mean Barry and Wally also share the Speed Force and they're just fine. Also there's Bart. AND Thawne (although Thawne may be an exception as he taps into a negative Speed Force).

I thought this one was really good and the twist was something I didn’t see coming with that reveal. The mustache was hilarious, but I really didn’t like that Brainiac was wasted in this universe. There’s just a lot of missed potential in this universe with the Green Lantern movie being especially egregious.
Heard Warworld was really disappointing too.

Also this movie actually draws Diana like the image of an Amazon. She HUGE. That's the imagery one SHOULD expect when hearing the word Amazon. Sure Gal Gadot is pretty and all, but she's slim and petite; definitely NOT Amazonian in stature.
