There are so many life lessons to learn changing countries and learning a new language. Just remember that the ups and the downs are important to the full experience. Madrid is so cool! There are so many things to do! Depending on how long you are there for, I would say don't worry about seeing everything at once. Take in barrio by barrio and eat all the food haha! The Plaza Mayor is awesome and it's right next to Mercado de San Miguel which is such an interesting place to see food and culture. Don't hesitate to message me about quick Spanish questions either!
